^double checked my account on paypal. The funny thing is I've been usin that for a long time and haven't changed any of my info.. What makes the last withdrawal different? Even verified with unionbank kung active pa ba yung account ko kasi baka naman nagexpire na kahit alam ko 2014 pa expiration and they said everything was still okay. Good thing paypal returned my funds when I said my account info was okay.

The second time I tried to withdraw, the same thing happened Idk why.. Ayaw na inalik mg paypal yung funds ko kaya yung remaining ko I just left it for the meantime in my paypal account..

I'll try to open an account sa Bpi, for the LFT since I read somewhere BDO charges a hefty amount of 200 for LFT.. What type of BPI account would be best for lft?

^ have a great weekend too sis

^^ any BPI bank account, savings or checking account would do. Just don't go after their prepaid debit card and time deposit products, they won't work with LFT.

most popular options ng mga sisses are BPI easy savers - kasi walang maintaining balance, but it comes with a catch: may charge (minimal though) karamihan sa transactions nito, including ATM withdrawals. you can opt to link your LFT even to a maxisavers account or their advance savings account!

mine is linked to a regular checking account - just to make it easier for me to keep track of income and expenses in that bank account. no problem so far with LFT except for the delays - they're much slower already than paypal.

so you mean ba sis matagal ka nang nagwi-withdraw from paypal to EON then bigla na lang on your last two paypal withdrawal ayaw nang tanggapin ng Unionbank yung funds? grabe naman kung ganun. >:(

Hi! Tanong ko lang, need po ba talaga ibigay mo yung company name ng current job mo ngayon just to be able to build up your acct. profile sa odesk? Worry kasi ng husband ko baka masilip naman siya ng company niya at sabihin conflict mo interest. And one more po, dun sa pay out kailangan din na rin po ba meron na kami paypal? E, apply-apply pa lang naman siya?  :)

Thanks in advance sa mga sasagot  :)

^ No need to list down company name sa work experience... especially if you have signed any contract with that current job na hindi pwedeng magwork on sites such as odesk/if it sees to be conflict of interest. If that would happen to me, I'd list down that experience, my position and years worked with the company name but with the name of the company withheld.

Yun nga lang sa odesk you are required to use your true name sa profile, and true pic. You might want to set your odesk profile to private or for odesk members only instead of public. Makikita sa google yung odesk profile kasi if it is set to public, so pwedeng magamit against your husband. However, public profiles have more chances at jobs than those with privacy settings.

With regards to payment methods you can setup odesk LFT, derecho na ito sa bank account of your choice (BPI is the best bank for this because they charge P0 for every LFT withdrawal, but you can use other major banks but be prepared for fees from P50 to P250 depending on the bank) and/or paypal (Unionbank bank accounts - savings, checking or EON - is the best because they charge P0 for every paypal withdrawal, but you can use other major banks but be also prepared for fees ranging from P50 to P200 depending on the bank).

I strongly recommend setting up both LFT and paypal, instead of choosing which one is better over the other; from time to time kasi nagkakaproblema ang isang withdrawal method sa odesk (I had experience problems both with LFT and paypal in odesk at some point). Besides, you can use paypal to withdraw funds from other websites too - mas marami pa rin ang nagbabayad via Paypal.

@freelancer_babe- yup ganun ba nga, i used to love eon and this is my most preferred method of withdrawal from odesk kahit ng nagumpisa pa lang ako sa odesk..now i hate them..I've been calling them to fix my account, up to now wala pa rin pagbabago.. i hope unionbank will improve their services.. They could have been a winner in my book..

Anyway, will open an easy savers account din.. I think the best way to maximize the charge is to withdraw a huge amount para hindi nakakapanghinayang yung nabawas

^ if you can spare P3k for the maintaining balance, just go for a regular savings account na lang.

can a sis here who is using BPI direct verify kung wala talagang P150 charge sa BPI Direct as odesk says? Mas ok pa sana ito kasi P500 lang ang maintaining balance tapos wala raw P150 charge sa odesk LFT. downside is, it could take you about a month before you could successfully open the account.

mga sis ano ang ok sa withrawal now? kasi i've been earning in odek already but haven't setup any withrawal method pa din since nagdadalawang isip pa ako sa EON.. at im looking for cheaper withrawal na hindi hassle.  natakot lang ako sa bpi recently kasi nga delayed.  how was it now?

I closed my BPI Family maxi saver kasi hirap na ako imaintain but I am going to open a BPI account na parang savings, I can use personally but para ding payroll kasi I use it for my online job.  Do you think this will work?

^ answered this already in previous comment... one detailed one up up above and one at the previous thread.

in addition pwede rin ang payoneer as withdrawal method. it's the fastest way to get funds sa odesk - hours lang makukuha na ang funds. downside is, maraming charges ito (not cheap) when withdrawing the funds via ATM, plus the monthly maintenance fee which is charged sa account - as long as you have funds in it. it's best used for swiping and for online purchases. I recommend withdrawing to this one kung malaki ang funds to withdraw out from odesk (around $200 and above) and need the funds immediately.

@kulitkidz,

another thing sis.

you may opt to privately disclose during the interview with the client kung anong company yung di nakaindicate sa profile mo - if client asks. just publicly indicate the company as "company name withheld" due to some NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with the current employer.

but generally clients won't ask much about the current employer.. they are most likely after any sample work in your portfolio, so you'd better focus your efforts on that part of your odesk profile. if you cannot build such sample work because the current employer doesn't want to, then build your own samples. ganun!
