Hi mga kapatid! I'm on my 28th week and naghahanap ako ng mura pero magandang hospital. Super tight kasi talaga ang budget. Top of the list ko ang PGH. Yung OB ko ay affiliated sa Manila Doctors, and based sa mga nabasa ko 37k yung package... E gusto ko pa tumawad e...

May idea ba kayo how much sa PGH recently? Any other suggestion sa mura pero maayos na hospital for delivery?

Totoo rin ba na pwede na sumama si hubby sa delivery room?

Thanks mga kapatid and I hope you can help me. First baby ko to e. Although nagtitipid kami, gusto pa rin syempre namin okay. Hindi kasi covered ng HMO e.

Just found out that my doctor is affiliated sa st. lukes, medical city and cardinal santos. Eeep... puro mahal. san kaya pinakamura dito

sis michaellec sis, ask ko lang bakit top of the list mo is PGH? wala lang. di ba mahirap manganak dun?hmm.. dati kasi dun gusto ni husband mag labor ako. kaya lang syempre hanap hanap ako feedbacks, then yung ate ng friend ko pala dun nanganak sa PGH. CS sya.. tawag nila sa baby is 100 thousand baby.. kasi inabot ng 100k bill nila sa PGH. na infect kasi ate nya after giving birth. malamang na infect sya sa mga ginamit sa operation nya. kaya sinabi ng friend ko sakin wag ko na daw isama ang PGH sa pagpili ko ng hospital.

Hello, nanganak ako sa manila doctors nitong july lang. Hindi ako kumuha ng package pero sa ward ako nag stay. Limahan kayo sa pay ward. Ang pagkakaalam ko hindi lahat ng OB ok sa package, ask mo rin OB mo. Induced labor ako, hindi nag progress after 6cm, so after 35hrs of staying sa labor room, CS na ako inabot din ng 90, 4 days naman ako dun and halos 24hrs pa ko naka oxygen before ako manganak. Overall experience, ok naman

Thanks for your reply Sis. Mukhang ok nga sa MaDocs manganak. Ang problem ko lang now is a new OB, wala kc un OB ko sa due date ko kaya hanap ako ng new one sa MaDocs para makaavail ng packages. Sino OB mo dun Sis?

deeyosa - sis, refer kita sa ob ko. naalala ko dati nabanggit nya na nagpapaanak sya dun eh. or sa dec 21 next check up ko, confirm ko sa kanya.

hi sis! IMO, ok naman ang PGH. hindi kaya may infection yung ate ng friend mo kaya nahawa din si baby? or baka nakakain na ng poop or may ibang complication kaya inabot ng 110k.....

Based on experience kasi, my present OB is a consultant sa PGH. Sa FMAB sya nagki clinic. Siya ang kinuha ko kasi yung hipag ko siya din ang humawak noon. Year 2011 nanganak si SIL, dapat august pa pero inilabas ang bata at 8 mos via CS. ang nakakatakot dun, SIL has a stage 4 breast cancer na, kumalat na sa liver,kaya super complicated na talaga. nalibot na namin karamihan sa mga ospital sa manila, cavite and las pinas pero wala tumanggap sa amin kasi hindi daw nila kaya yung ganung case,a pregnant cancer patient.

Unitl may nagpakilala sa amin kay OB, nung july 1 inadmit nya agad kami sa PGH.july 5 ipinanganak yung bata. Hers was a hopeless case na, but they (the doctors) managed na makatagal yung hipag ko up to two more months pa.

Even yung pedia who is also from PGH na humawak sa baby is magaling din.

So wag kayo matakot sa PGH. =) depende lang din siguro sa doctors yung pag cha charge ng fees...

Gave birth at Taytay Doctors. Okay ang experience ko with them. Mababait pa ang staff nila. Walang masungit na nurses. Two thumbs up pa ko sa OB ko. Our hospital bill was around 40k less Philhealth.

hello! What's the name of your OB? for the 40k, Private room or ward? kasama na ba OB PF?

Gave birth via CS at Makati Med last dec 10... We got the cs package for semiprivate room worth 80k.
My ob is dr martin manahan.
We checked in monday night and my procedure was scheduled
For 9am the next day. the package allows us to stay until thursday so 3 nights recovery ko, which i really liked
The admission was fairly straightforward, we were
asked to pay 80% downpayment, pwede credit card. We were
Upgraded to a small private room kasi wala na semiprivate, so swerte!
The room we got was nice, may padded bench na tutulugan ni hubby and an extra comfy seat sa gilid. May cable tv and hot shower. Food is pretty decent some meals even downright great
Nurses are quick to respond to calls. Doctors, residents and nurses come in unscheduled all day and night for various reasons to check on me and baby. Theyre very polite and professional. The newborn services checked on my breastfeeding and really tried to help us succeed in breastfeeding, which is great. Though I think they need to be more proactive about it and really teach things like positions and latching right from the start, not just when there are problems
The operation was smooth. Doc manahan is very good. I even heard nurses talking how they like acrubbing for him kasi magaling siya. He even held off putting me in any intravaneous fluids until halos magsstart na yung procedure to ensure minimal effect on baby. He got dr de jesus as my anaesthesiologist and i'm happy kasi i've heard great things about him
Baby was out very quick and they let her latch to me as soon as they cleaned her
Pero sa recovery they didnt latch her to me, though we were together. Hubby was with us sa delivery and recovery.
Baby was roomed in with us so 1st night palang sleepless na agad, hehe. Pero thanks to doc manahan, i was painfree and was able to breastfeed, though still bedridden
2nd day after cs tinaggal na iv pain meds pero i was put on 2 oral pain meds so practically painfree parin. That meant i was able to get up right away and walk which will help me heal fast the meds are breastfeeding safe so all is well
We checked out 3rd day after cs kahit na pwede pa kami 1 more night. we just want to start adjusting to home na asap kasi. Nagkaproblem konti sa birth cert submission kasi nobody reminded us about it kahit na maya't maya yung mga nurse na kausap namin.
But all went well naman
Total bill added up to 89k due to additional meds i requested for nausea after cs (i kept throwing up)
Pero bawas pa philheath so less than 80k binayaran namin
Pinauwi lahat ng pillows, basins, etc na ginamit namin kasi bayad yun
All in all, a very good experience for us, swerte sa room upgrade not sure if same level of experience if hindi kami naupgrade kasi semiprivate rooms share bathroom with 2 other rooms eh...
But the service level is great

Hello momies! Anyone here who gave birth in Taytay Doctors? Kamusta naman ang facilities? Planning to give birth there on February. Dun lang kasi affiliated yung OB ko and sa Medical City. Medyo mahal kasi sa TMC kaya kino-consider ko rin sa Taytay Doctors plus mas malapit samin. Maganda ba dun? And kamusta rin ang mga rates? Sana mabigyan nyo po ako ng feedbacks so I can prepare na rin, just in case. Thanks mga mommies

@shenshen8 sis how do you describe makati med's semi private room? Yung 80k na package kasi ng medical city is sa baby friendly ward tapos sa labas ang cr at common pa.

Hi mga sis! I didnt get to see the semiprivate room sa nmakati med kasi naupgrade kami (swerte)
Pero sabi sa akin, semiprivate rooms are grouped into 3-4 rooms sharing a bathroom. Bale pagpasok mo sa door from hallway, may small area and may 4 doors. 3 dun ang rooms then isa is the cr. the door is tge accordion type daw sa mga rooms. So i think magkakarinigan kayo with crying babies. May sofa and tv daw each room
I think packages vary per ob kasi all in na eh, may additionals lang pag may extra meds na naconsume like me... 80k was our doc's package for semiprivate cs, 150k pag small private cs
The room we got was small private pero semiprivate package fee child friendly i think, if you tell them room in si baby they follow naman as long as ok si baby
We live in makati thats why mmc na kami and andun doc namin

Though next year pa due ko, pero syempre kailangan na naming paghandaan ngayong pa lang.

@ Crazylabel - talaga,80k na yung package sa med city?laki ng itinaas ha..sa tanda ko kasi nasa 50-55k lang binayaran ko nung 2009.
