anybody na nanganak na sa Delos Santos Medical? may idea ba kayo sa packages dun?
my ob is dra lampitoc, familiar ba kayo dun ? 
Hi sis,
I gave birth sa delo last may, 2012. to give you an idea here's a breakdown of what hubby and i paid for. they dont offer packages during that time. please note that i spent 16 hours at the labor room so talagang case to case basis sya.
hospital fees around 45k (inclusive of the labor room, delivery room and my private room and nursery) - i gave birth at 4:30am but they transferred my baby to our room at 2pm the next day already so thats 2 days at the nursery. i spent 2 days in my private room
Just to share:
* Before officially admiting me in the labor room, When i got there, i was taken to a small room inside the OR with a small bed and I was asked to lie down there. dun nila ikaw pahihigain, i-interviewhin, kukuhanan ng details. While I was waiting for the next person to talk to me and ask me questions about my pregnancy, may pumapasok na OR staff to get leave their bags, or get their things. Yun pala parang staff room ng OR staff.
* The resident doctors were unprofessional. The labor room had around 10 beds available for laboring moms and during the time that i was admitted i was the only one there. There's a large sign that says food is not allowed and ofcourse as you are about to give birth, you cannot eat anymore even though you are hungry however the doctors brought in food and snacks for them to eat there in the labor room. how insensitive.
* The resident doctor assigned to me didnt act like a doctor. for 16 hours, i saw other moms come and go. parang 5 mommies ang sumunod sakin na ma-admit naunahan ako nanganak and when they are screaming in pain, and yung na-assign sakin na resident doctor ang nag a-attend sakanila, instead of comforting them, i see her making faces na parang sinasasabe sa patient na (ang arte mo) then saba sasabihin sa patient "wag kayo sumigaw" in a way na alam mong pinipigilan yung inis. sobrang sakit nya mag IE na parang hinihila nya na yung matres ko para lumabas
[textspeak!] baby ko. Mataas pain tolerance ko pero ang sakit talaga ng IE nya. I complained her to my OB when I was already in my room and my OB told me na the said resident was transferred to a different department. kaloka dba? naabutan ko pa talaga sya!!!
* The private room assigned to me after I was finally able to give birth was very very small, they werent even able to fit the bed where i was lying when they transferred me to my own room from the delivery room. take note, kelangan pa akong kargahin para lang matransfer sa bed ng private room ko which was very uncomfortable.

OB- 25k
Anesthesiologist - 10k (epidural administered)
Pedia - 5k
overall total = 85K
Mahal para sa service na nakuha ko.
Im about to give birth again this July and I dont want to give birth at delo anymore. I switched ob and im going to give birth at delgado hospital this time around.
