He really make time and effort para makapag usap kami dipa uso ang skype noon.2006.
               2008- nagpropose siya,after 6 months nagpakasal kami
               2009-dumating c baby
2010-umalis ulit c hubby until now yearly naman vacation.

pero by next year exit na siya.we both decided na dito na siya work.ang hirap ng magkalayo lalo na ngaung andaming nangyayari sa mundo.I prefer a simple and decent life with him. That's really the hardest part...salamat talaga sa skype we talk 3 times a day. :)

yes sis i think that's not a good sign, though kahit mahal nyo pa ang isa't isa malaking adjustment ulit pag nagkasama kayo and ang nakakalungkot eh you fall out of love.

Mas madali na ang LDR ngayon kumpara noon, kasi ngayon may viber, wechat, line etc  libre lang ang calls at text basta may wifi or if may data plan real time makakapagusap unlike noon na sulat lang, kumbaga ngayon mas madali comminication atleast mas malaki na ang chances na magwork. Effort din on both parties atsaka wag matetempt, control talaga kailangan.

^Agreed.  :) The only downside is sometimes mas nagfla-flare up ang arguments because we can say things at the height of emotions. Wala ng time lag para kumalma or mag-isip muna. Naglo-log-out na lang ako if I know very emotional na si hubby. ;)

We'll be spending our first Christmas as a married couple apart. So sad  :( :( :(

We used to be ldr then we got married.. First 2 and a half years of being married ldr parin until sumunod na ko sa kanya sa US...

Used to skype almost 24hrs/day kahit tulog naka on ang skype, kahit nasa office sya... Then we write 2 emails everyday... Then when i started working sa call center, since pareho yung oras ng work namin, skype nalang kami pag uwi sa bahay and when we sleep pero everyday parin yung emails... We always talk about our relationship, plans, dreams... We always send emails [textspeak!] may mga bagay na mas easier sabihin when you write it... We promised each other na pag magkasama na kami, lagi parin kami mag eemail...

Now, we're together, di na kami nag eemail sa isa't isa... I tried to still do it for 1 month.. Pero he stopped so i stopped din... We seldom talk... We don't talk about us anymore... Di na din sya sweet... Things have changed... Now, i think we were better partners when it was ldr than when we're together... :(

^sis hindi ba masyadong over na ata if magkasama na kayo and then magka email pa kayo? I mean you see him everyday and his actions naman so you can feel more his love for you...

para sa akin naman, mas better partners kami when we are together than we are apart.

Ako Sis Tin malapit na masanay Chos!

I think not all LDR works with everyday communication.  For us kase nung hubby ko, before we use to chat everyday, tapos call and SMS pa.  There came a time na nawalan na kami ng pag-uusapan and parang nagkakahiyaan na lang na hindi magchat, minsan and I don't like the feeling na parang napipilitan na lang ako makipagchat at wala naman maikwento, kaya I decided na gawing hindi na everyday.  At least a few times a week.  Ngayon nga since malapit na sya bumalik ulet, we rely on calls na lang.  Mas marami pang kwento and mas maraming tawa heheh!

My first relationship was an LDR one so it was very difficult to say the least. He was in QC and back then I was in Cebu. Three years kaming ganun. Back and forth trips to see each other, yahoo, skype and phone calls. We constantly communicated and made sure to call each other when we woke up, when we had lunch, and before sleeping.

Laging sinasabi na maghihiwalay din kami, na I should save myself the heartache and that LDR never works.

They proved one thing right. EX ko na yung BF ko kasi hubby ko na siya :D My first and my last. We will be celebrating our 1st year anniversary soon and we still FB message each other while at work and call at lunch. Not as frequent as before, but communication lines are open and my hubby is still as sweet. I guess some things never changed. I won't say I'm lucky. But I will say blessed ^_^

So if you are planning to get into an LDR, or are already in one, then you have to reassess and see if it's worth it. If it is, you'll be willing to go the distance. We only have so many chances at love and happiness in this world.
