Do you have Premature babies?.. how do you deal/handle with it??

^sis, 6months na si baby and pinapaarawan pa rin namin. pero earlier ang oras namin this summer dahil yung 6:30am ang hapdi na sa balat ng init. mga 5:30 kami now. ok lang yung sweat just make sure na palitan damit after magpainit.

Thanks sis ishopnowfeelguiltylater!  Buti pa sa inyo may sunlight na at 5:30am, parang here sa amin dark pa at that time (I'm from Cebu by the way, if it makes any difference).

Confirm ko lang sis, ok lang ba any intensity of sunlight? I mean, I wait yung literal na "init" talaga kaya pinapaarawan ko si baby around 6:30-7am na when the sun is high na talaga

sabi nung pedia namin 6-8am ang paaraw for 15mins. pero kami ngang adult nahahapdian na sa init ng 6:30 so inadjust namin. better ask your pedia sis, just to be sure

Hi mommies, how do you handle po breastfeeding after NICU? I have a 29 weeker baby and until now nasa NICU pa siya. Andaming ups and down,  umiiyak ako dahil naawa ako ni baby sa iv, kung mag desat siay sa puls ox dahil hiningal sa feeding. Hay naku lord, thy will be done, praying to you lord that its our favor..

Ang sakit marinig o makita na nag apnea baby mo dahil sa feedings. Hinihingal at namumutla pa. Ungentle nurses and impatient , kahit desat / desaturation na , dropper or cupfeed pa rin. Grabeh mga walang awa.

nicu feeding / s apnea due to temperature drop when the aircon is so cold and the baby is barenaked or unwrapped or not fully wrapped , impatient nurse in droppings or cupfeed which leads to baby's choking or coughing out.

Noong asa NICU yung baby ko hindi ko tinantanan lahat ng nurses na nagbabantay sa anak ko.

Lahat ng ginagawa nila inoobserve ko. Pag may mali sinisita ko in a nice way. Mahirap kasi makaaway yung mga nurse baka kung ano gawin nila. So I make it a point to give them food just so meron silang pakonswelo everytime sila naka assign sa anak ko.

Ang hirap talaga ng ganyang situation. Naintindihan ko coz I've been in the NICU for almost 2 months with my son. Aside sa stress iisipin mo rin yung gastos. My god! Mahina ang 20k per day sa anak ko noon.

Everything will be fine just keep on praying.

Mine is premature.  35 weeks siya pero luckily hindi naman nalagay sa NICU.  Kasama ko na siya agad sa room kasi everything looks good naman daw sa kanya.  Apgar score niya is 9.9.

Thank u sis! Ginawa namin, 24/7 shifting kami bantay kay baby ni hubby since puedeng homework siya. Christmas at newyear andun kami. Mahirap talaga sa lahat. Financially, emotionally, physically, mentally. 32days kami sa NICU at 1500 grams.

Ngayon, hirapan kami sa feeding and burping. Ganon din bah si baby mo sis? Lumalabas sa ilong minsan, nakakapraning. Umiiyak ako paminsan, baka nga postpartum depression. So hindi ko ini entertain.

Hoping and praying ma outgrown na ni baby etong lahat na difficulty sa breathing during feeding ang burping.

nakaka inspire stories nyo mga sis. yesterday during my ultrasound, i found out na low normal na ang amniotic fluid ko, 7.84cm at exactly 33 weeks. i had to do an NST, ok naman lahat. sabi ni doc, she'll check me again on monday to see if bumaba pa. if it does, we'll deliver early. naiiyak ako. pero naniniwala ako na tataas pa sya and aabot kami full term.

nainspire ako sa mga stories nyo na ok naman ang babies nyo kahit premie. hope mine is healthy enough. iui baby ito. waited over 3 years to finally conceive at ang daming complications ng pregnancy ko pero this thread calmed me a lot. thanks for sharing mga sis!

I have a premature baby 34 weeks. And his weight is only 1.5 lang. 4 months old na Siya now okay. Ask lang po Ako kung anong magandang vitamins sa kanya. Thankyou po
