As far as I remember, Dreamworld was too kiddy for me. hehe! Madami na rin yata nadagdag na attractions so pwede na din siguro. Tignan mo na lang opening and closing times both. We stayed in Surfers Paradise; the bus ride to Dreamworld was 40 minutes or more with traffic. Sa May pa pala kayo baka hindi na masyado busy.

@wandergirl1980, tanong ko lang talagang mag-base kayo sa Manly the whole time you'll be in Sydney? Looking at your itinerary one day lang yung Manly sights ninyo then the rest puro sa Sydney area na. Thirty minutes one-way din yung ferry from Manly to Sydney kung saan located yung days 2-4 attractions na pupuntahan ninyo. Plus pamasahe sa ferry na AUD15/person RT (if I remember correctly). With your itinerary I would base myself in Sydney then do a day trip to Manly na lang.

^agree, may mga guesthouse din naman sa sydney. mas ok na don kayo mag-stay para malapit sa tourist spot & airport

^I would try airbnb since you'll be there for almost a week. I find renting an apartment cheaper compared to staying in a hotel/guest house. Unless you want to do the hostel/dorm style of accommodation? But I wouldn't recommend it if you're not sanay sharing your space (especially your banyo!) with everybody.

I just did a mock booking for your dates in Sydney and marami ako nakita na places available starting from $82/night for two persons for the entire apartment. Check mo na lang sis, I'm sure meron ka pang makikita na cheaper. Make sure lang malapit yung apartment sa public transpo stations (light rail, bus, etc) para convenient to go around the city.

Wandergirl, kung sa airbnb kayo, haymarket, surry hills, pyrmont, ultimo would be ideal. Kung sanay kayo sa mahabang lakaran ideal going to Darling Harbour; by bus naman to the Opera House. Nabigla lang ako sa cost per day sa airbnb, kapresyo na rin sila ng 3-star hotel.

Nakita ko ditong matino pa na backpacker accommodation YHA hostels, very near Central Station. Another to consider is Aarons Hotel, a 3-star hotel in Haymarket Chinatown. Luma na ito but at least it is convenient. A friend stayed there and okay naman daw, close din sa restos and shops.

Back to Airbnb, ang daming listings from Paddington, Glebe, Camperdown which are leafy suburbs near the CBD, bus ride away, about 10 minutes no traffic. Glebe meron din light rail but the stops I would not consider convenient for travellers and safety is an issue (very dark at night, no lights and in a bushy surrounding) after 8pm. Newtown, Surry Hills are 'hipster' suburbs so maraming cafes sa lugar diyan.

HI i applied earlier through online, there is a question about proposed period of stay, my answer is up to 12 months pero two weeks lang talaga ang vacation ko, now they require me to have chest x-ray. since i plan to visit australia again i thought the answer na up to 12 months is the best answer so that they will give me multiple entry visa for one year

can i still change my answer after i have submitted my application..or i will proceed with my chest x-ray na lang

im confused talaga
