$2.50 capped only on Sundays with the Opal ticket but if you take 8 trips from Monday to Sunday, the rest is free. Take 8 trips by bus, train and ferry on Monday so the rest of the week free na if you are unable to make it on a Sunday. The Opal system is not fully rolled up yet so there may be buses without the ticket machine and your trip is free. For more info, https://www.opal.com.au/en/fares-and-benefits/opal_for_tourists/ . I'm not happy with this new system, bad for the tourists and casual users, kasi the train stations don't sell them, you go to the news agent or you order online. Make sure that you tap on and off because if not, you will be charged the maximum fare of $8.10. Lagi mo lang tignan ang machine showing that the fare was deducted from your ticket.

^actually on our first week we used the My Multi Pass 1. super sulit kasi the place where we stayed was very near the light rail and ito yung week na we went to places a lot.  on our second week hubby decided to go for opal kasi we were mostly at Bondi lang.  didn't have problems naman tapping on/off.  although there was one time yung bus na nasakyan namin wala pang Opal.  pero may nabasa nga ako na for most mas napapamahal sila sa Opal esp. for long term.

^congrats sis! so 2 weeks pa rin talaga pag online. yong officemate ko na nagsubmit din online 2 weeks lang din inabot ng application ng tatay & sister nya

^Thanks, sis! Yup, exactly 2 weeks lumabas yung grant ko. I think this is the easiest visa application I've experienced so far. Scan lang lahat ng documents ko from my passport (all entry/exit stamps and other visas), financial details: passbooks, stock certificates, titles, credit card statements to my husband's company ID. Di ba I was praying na they won't ask for certified or notarized copies, buti naman dininig yung prayers ko!

^so gagayahin din kita sis, di ko na pa-notarized. kausap ko kahapon officemate ko na kama-migrate lang sa AU, sabi nya scanned lang din pinasa nya & ang nakakatawa don yong passport ng ate nya pinicturan lang kasama pa nga daw kamay & braso tapos after a week nya pa na-submit yong docs. nagulat sya kasi hindi pa nya nasa-submit payslip ng asawa nya, nilagay nya lang amount sa invitation letter pero na-approved na kinabukasan

FYI, pag pabalik ng pinas hindi nagtatatak immigration pero nag-request ako dati & pumayag naman. kahit citizen hindi, kasi tiningnan ko passport ni hubby puro phil. entry lang

^parang US lang, hindi rin sila nagtatatak ng exit stamps. But did AU immig stamp upon entry mo?

^I applied online and paid Php5700 with my cc. Going one week na and still in process pa rin ang status. Mukha nga aabutin ng one month pag tourist visa.

My cc billing statement came out and I was just charged Php5377.05 or AUD131.40 only. Definitely cheaper and easier to apply online than going through VFS. Buti na lang they came out na with online applications. Sana yung ibang countries ganun na rin.

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Na boost ang morale ko. I'm waiting lang for my December salary then I'll lodge my application online na. I have already scanned all my visas and entry/exit stamps. Siguro ipa-notaryo ko nalang ang passport? For peace of mind lang hehe.

Hello! Question about online visa application, can i apply tourist visa 7 months in advance? I remember last 2011 na may expiration date ang visa entry upon approval ng visa. 3 months i think. Same din ba if lodged online? I want to apply na sana before my working permit expires. Hehe. Thanks

Question mga sis nagstart nadin ako ng online application kasi pupunta parents ko sa kasal, yung couple distant relative na ng dad ko.. may portion kasi sa application form na kung may relatives or friends in Australia kaso wala namang option for 2nd - 3rd generation - lumalabas pinsan pa sa lolo kasi magkapatid yung tatay ng dad ko saka tatay nila.. (actually nalilito ako sa family tree. haha) iniisip ko tuloy kung ilalagay ko pa ba. haha! quick visit lang kasi, aatend lang dun sa kasal

dec 14 yung kasal if 2weeks to release lang abot pa basta mai-lodge ko this week yung application..

Sa mga nakalibot na sa beaches in sydney, is it worth it to snorkel sa beach nila? Where ang best? May marerentahan ba ng snorkeling gears, fins and vest?

got my visa in just a week! i applied last nov. 14, then i got the visa thru email today, excited to visit Australia again!
