^^ sis, declare it. alam ko strict sila with food that has leaves, seeds and raw meat.

basta ang tip ko lang, you can always bring any pasalubong basta ALWAYS AND ALWAYS DECLARE IT.

^not sure of pastillas and turones, pero last time I was asked kung may polvoron ako dala.  Yun lang tinanong sa akin.  Basta declare mo na may dala kang food para kung di allowed, hindi ka ma-fine.

We will relocate to Australia next year and so far i have only asked philpost door to door service.. 9200 for 17 kilos, manila to sydney.

If may mga suggestions po yung iba, please share. TIA

The best way is to call as many couriers and cargo companies as you can. sometimes they have promos or can do special services for you.

I once was able to ship a heavy piece of electronic equipment to Australia by paying only 10K pesos. It was rejected by FedEx and PhilPost because it was too heavy for them, and too light for a lot of shipping companies, DHL wanted almost 30K for it.

Lucky for me, I was able to send it before they permanently closed that delivery route of theirs.

If you're relocating to Aus, don't bring much clothes because sooner or later you'll amass your own clothes here and will have to get rid of them later.

wala akong makitang visa thread for australia.. me and my family are planning to spend the new years eve here (2015) composed of 6adults and 2kids madali kaya ma-approve kung dependent yung sis-in-law ko then yung mother ko din? also ilang months in advance pwede ilodge ang visa? planning for europe tour ng oct-nov so baka malate kung planned itinerary namen eh dec 30-jan (first week)

Planning to go to Sydney in October

Okay lang ba na magpply na ng Visa this early? Plan to send my application this coming Feb
Gusto ko kasi makapagbook na ng flight by April or May

^Sis, one year ang validity ng AU visa.  For me lang, kung early ka nag apply ng visa, mabilis mag expire.  Feb of next year agad agad.

Ang advantage naman kung early ka magbook, early mo malalaman kung approved visa mo, so makakakuha ka pa ng cheap airfare. 

Unlike nung akin, July 12 na ako kumuha ng visa so approved sha after 10 days.  July 22 na ako nakabook ng airfare which is mahal kasi August 12 ang tentative flight ko.

^Yung akin, sinelect ko is multiple entry kasi meron doon sa question # 4 if applicant intends to enter Australia more than one occasion.

Ang sinagot ko kasi doon YES plus may reason ako, to visit hobart and gold coast naman.

Booked my ticket  before I applied for a visa. Ang mura kasi ng intoductory rate last year ng Clark-Sydney flt ng AirAsia.

Feeling optimistic lang.
