We will relocate to Australia next year and so far i have only asked philpost door to door service.. 9200 for 17 kilos, manila to sydney.

If may mga suggestions po yung iba, please share. TIA

i was able to send a standard box from DHL. spent around 9k din.  I can't remember if tinimbang siya or yung sukat lang kinuha but i think tinimbang din kasi air freight yun eh. it arrived in Sydney in 4 days lang ata.

I am thinking of getting my parents over for a visit next year. Now, has anyone here sponsored their parents' visa? Alam ko ang option ay to do the sponsored family visitor visa at the standard tourist visa stream. OK sana yung sponsored kaso if asked for a bond of $5-15k each, i don't think we'd be able to provide that. So is it as easy for my parents to apply a tourist visa from Phils and I just send them an invitation letter stating I will be paying for the expenses when they get here and a guarantee they will be returning to the Phils? They do not have as much assets, kaya a bit hesitant ako to take this approach.

Your feedback will be much appreciated.

Yung brother ko ginawa yan for my parents invitation lang and stat dec approved naman. Multiple entry max of 3 mos stay nga lang.

Yes, pero puede din kahit nakaworking permit as long as stable ang job. Isama mo contract of tenure, coe, bank account kasama ng invitation letter and stat dec ng mag invite. Tapos sis, yung sa parents isama ang din yung bank acvount nila, source of income, if retired naman samahan na lang ng land titles nila. For sure magrant yan. Tapos ang ilagay ng length of stay hwag masyado mahaba. Kahit 2-3 weeks lang muna. For sure naman mabibigyan din ng 3 mos yan kahit pa single entry.

What pasalubong can i bring to Oz? Since mahigpit sila on this, baka merong mga sisses na nakapagdala ng food na ni-allow sa customs. I've read sa first pages na me inallow ang dried mangoes and dried fish. I assume na sealed/unopened to. Anything else?

Hi mga sis..sa tourist visa application ba hindi na kelangan dalhin yung passport? Photocopy lang ng bio page? Need din ba photocopy ng mga pages with entry stamps or di na? Need na ipa-notarize? Thanks!

Tnx sis! Required ba na dala yung passport mismo? Meron ako nung photocopy pero yung passport kasi wala sa akin, inaantay ko pa from US embassy kasi  kakakuha ko lang din visa dun

^Sis, required ang passport and photocopy of all pages ng passport.  Since di nila kukunin ang passport mo, vfs (agency) will verify the authenticity of the photocopy by comparing the contents to your actual passport.  It is necessary to photocopy all the pages especially those with stamps and visas.  Yung akin, when I got to the vfs office to submit the requirements, I forgot to photocopy my passport kaya nag bayad pa ako.

No need for notary kasi si agency mismo ang mag veverify and attest the authenticity.
