Hi mga sis, we are planning to visit gold coast australia for our honeymoon right after our wedding on January. I used to work in SG but decided to quit my job para sa wedding preps while my fianceé is still working there. Question ko lang mga sis, ano ba procedure sa pagkuha ng tourist visa sa australia? This is my first time kasi to get a visa while si fianceé nakakuha na sya ng chinese visa before. And since hiwalay kami ng country ngayon, do we need to apply separately sa respective country namin ngayon?

Nakita ko requirements yung COE and bank statements, pano yun wala ako current job although i have my coe sa previous company and I have my savings account naman sa pinas may chance ka na ma-decline ang visa application ko? And pano ba namin mapapakita na ang purpose ng visit namin is for honeymoon kung hiwalay kami ng country ni fianceé?

@freeswan- hehe sis sa WA work location ni hubby. Anyway diko na dinala  nasanay lang ako dala ko sa bag ko lagi sa pinas.i guess its pretty safe here onti lang naman din population hehe.

^sa sydney,madang (lahat ng natry ko masarap), cha thai(?) Pero seafood pad thai lang nagustuhan ko,the rest maalat, mamak for mee goreng, nasi goreng, milk tea although mas gusto ko nasi goreng ng ace malapit sa st.leonard's.

Sisses, what are the recommended restos in Melbourne and Sydney (CBD) na affordable or cheap lang? 

sis Hotaro Sushi sa Bourke St - medyo hidden siya, level 1 ng MidCity Arcade. Very affordable and nice sushi train
Mamak (Lonsdale St) and Papparich (QV) their roti is very authentic
Dainty Sichuan and Sichuan House -  for spicy Chinese
GYG - for Mexican
Marami pa nagkalat sa Swanston and Elizabeth mga Asian restos. Pero medyo hit and miss sila.
Don't forget to try chocolate cafes Max Brenner and San Churro in QV and mga cafes as mga hidden lane ways

I have only 10 days and would want to maximize my stay. Willing to go out if the CBD if the place is really a must see.

^^ sis 3 days is more than enough to go around CBD. there are heaps of great places that you can go on a day trip:
~Phillip Island
~Great Ocean Tours
~Yarra Valley Tours
~Otway Fly

a must see naman around Melbourne CBD are:

Botanical Gardens
Shrine of Remembrance
Vic Market - the deli is yum
Docklands/Harbour Town
Fed Square
Flinders St Train Station
Shot Tower in Melbourne Central
Laneways - they have nice cafes and awesome graffiti
Melbourne Zoo

Coming november but i don't have family there. Just some family friends i plan to catch up with.

For me, ang most interesting is the Great ocean road tour.  I also stayed in Melbourne for 3 days.  But I chose to roam around the city on my 2nd day instead of going to yarra (wine) tour.  A friend of mine told me the Philip Island is not that good.  The penguin parade is in the evening pa, so the morning - afternoon is the zoo where you feed the kangaroos.  I don't like zoos so I skipped the tour.

sis, there are some other places in Phillip Island that is worth visiting like The Nobbies. Not sure if its worth it if you're on a bust tour though.

don't forget the Eureka tower in Melbourne. it's Melbourne's highest peak or tower. You will see the whole of melbourne from up there.

I'm planning to move my trip March 2014.

If the visa issued is valid for 6 months and you choose to use it on the 6th month (March 2014 in my case), will immigration still allow?

^yup.winter pero walang snow sis.kwento ng officemates ko dadayo ka ng canberra (3hr drive daw) para makaexperience ng snow.
