called globe kanina, sabi i need to pay daw 11k for my bb unit which i got last june, eh magpapa recontract ako dba? so sabi nya 11k+4800 cash out for BB. when i said about the iphone calculator sabi nya end na daw yung promo na yun i had to pay 11k daw kasi wala pang 1 year yung bb ko eh hello naman 2008 pa ko kumuha ng contract sa kanila pang 3rd renew ko na nga eh parang i need to talk to another CSR nila baka iba iba na naman kasi statement nila

@akireyhoj: might be best to visit business center kesa thru CSR. sa GBC mo din naman kukunin yung unit mo right? globe CSRs are not that reliable.

I'm a first time Iphone user (coming from blackberry torch) and I can say that I'm happy naman with my iphone 5. I dont think I'll be tempted to upgrade to an phone 5s kung lumabas man yan this year mainly because I dont really upgrade unless my phone becomes sickly

Just got my white iphone 5! First iphone user here as I was a blackberry user. Kagagagaling ko lang ng business center and wala pang signal yung phone ko. Wait daw ako 24-48 hours. Ganon ba talaga katagal?

Also I recommend na sa Globe business centers kayo pumunta instead of ordering online or via phone. Walang kwenta yung services nila dun. Sa phone, I ordered nung December 20 pa, online naman, last week pa. Tapos kanina naisipan ko lang pumunta, di ko akalain na 30 mins lang makukuha ko na yung phone.

So excited to try it! Sana magkasignal na!!

^Yung signal sis, mga an hour and a half meron na ko. Nawala yung signal sa blackberry sim ko about 30 minutes after nagka-signal yung nano sim sa Iphone 5.

prettybarbie and naughty guru, thanks for your input. i've decided to go with the ip5 through globe's 1799/month plan. i was supposed to subscribe to smart and they told me the unit is immediately available but my aunt discouraged me to use smart because mahilig daw sila mag overcharge, just like what happened to her plan years ago na maraming calls na charge sa line niya which she didn't even use and ended up paying for the huge bill! does smart really do that?! eh ako natakot so i went to globe. btw, yung application ko thru my aunt's name kasi she has a cc w/ good credit standing and has an existing globe plan for 5 yrs now, and ok lang daw na dalawa yung line niya. i thought it would be better that way kasi if i apply for myself, malabo ma approve. i don't have a cc, and i've heard they are hesitant to accept applications from bpo employees. ako din naman babayad sa monthly bill. when we went there, sabi ng globe csr ok na daw yung application, but the units are out of stock! i asked when available but she couldn't give me a definite date. tatawag lang daw sila. how long does it usually take ng mga ganyan? ngayon, sabi ko sana nag smart nalang ako i should have been holding an ip5 by now! excited much.

^Sis, other branches have stocks for sure. Yesterday dumaan lang ako sa globe by chance tapos may stocks sila kaya nakakuha agad ako ng phone. Sa Trinoma yun. Meron silang 16GB White and 32GB Black. I wanted a 32GB White pero hindi available kaya yung 16GB nalang kinuha ko dahil gusto ko talaga ng white iPhone. Hehe.

ANYWAY, wala pa rin akong signal. 24 hours na mamayang 12noon. Ganito ba talaga katagal?? Bakit yung iba isang oras lang, yung sa kapatid ko naman, overnight. Ugh naiinip na ako.

mga sis, how long tumatagal yung battery life ng iphone 5 niyo? planning to get this dana(torn between this and samsung note 2) naghohold back na lang sakin yung battery life niya. dami ko kasing nabasa sa net na hindi raw maganda battery life ng iphone 5?

Whenever i turn on my cellular data and LTE ang bilis maubos ng battery ko, kapag nagba browse ako or playing games mga within 3-4 hrs lowbat na ko. Pero kapag gamit ko lang yung wifi dito sa bahay and di ko masyado ginagamit phone ko matagal bago ma lowbat mga once lang ako nagcha charge in a day.

got my ip5 na! first time iphone user so aliw na aliw ako i just have a concern, i tried to transfer my mp3s from my laptop to iphone but hindi ma detect yung ip5 ko. i'm confused if it's with my laptop's OS or itunes version? yung ibang device that i connect to the laptop, ok naman.

@Clair de Lune: hindi lumalabas yung iphone mo sa itunes pag nakakabit yung cable mo sa laptop? maybe your itunes is outdated. try to update sa latest version. enjoy!
