I'm using baking soda and apple cider vinegar as my supposed 'organic' beauty products. I just hope na di naman 'cancerous' tong baking soda?

^I do that and not just the face but whole body once a week and parang pumuti ako. Once again, I just hope baking soda is really 'harmless' and not a cancerous chemical.

update: okay so I googled and apparently, baking soda also cures cancer! kaloka.

I use this not for the body or face though but for cleaning. The best to use when cleaning stubborn stains on pots and pans squeaky clean talaga to remove mattress and upholstered furniture odors, for easy stripping of grease, panglinis ng veggies and fruits! Super dami purpose!

I don't recommend using baking soda on your face. It's highly alkaline eh..

high amounts of baking soda on your underarms can cause rashes. Pwedeng hindi agad, but after continual use, magkakarashes talaga. In fact, commercial deodorants with baking soda (such as Arm and Hammer deo with baking soda) contains only about 1% or less baking soda.

Gusto ko sana gawin deodorant ang baking soda every day para natural kaso in under 20 minutes of using baking soda homemade deo (coconut oil + cornstarch + baking soda), nagkarash na agad left ua ko.  :(

Baking soda is base, diba? Cancer cells only thrive in acidic places.

lol prolonged use of baking soda on hair can cause breakage. Google it. Girls who have gone "no poo" or no shampoo now regret it. It also alters the ph of the skin  because it's "base" and our skin is naturally acidic.
