The Miracle of Baking Soda :)

Nakakatuwa ang baking soda. So useful 

Body scrub - I apply liquid soap first then the water-baking soda paste. So smooth afterwards and doesn't sting.

Facial scrub - I mix it with my facial wash (Cetaphil). Next time I'll try it as a mask.

Foot spa/scrub - I soak my feet in soapy water for at least 20 minutes and then scrub afterwards with baking soda paste.

Household deodorizer - Place some baking soda in the smelly area (trash can, CR, etc) and it absorbs the odor.

Household cleaning agent - Sprinkle some baking soda on top messy surface and scrub/wipe it with a wet sponge.

I'm using Arm & Hammer Deo Stick (Unscented) that is powered by Baking Soda.
I don't like to use Aluminum Chloride antiperspirants anymore.

I also tried the Arm & Hammer toothpaste but I think it's too abrasive e, just to whiten teeth.

It is simply Sodium Bi-carbonate. It is also a cancer cure.

It is different from baking powder nga pala ah.

I've heard about the wonders of Baking Soda too. Hehe. May specific brand ba ng baking soda ang ginagamit nyo?

After reading this thread I used a baking powder paste on my face. I may have overdid it a bit but my skin felt so soft afterwards! Love it!

I personally use baking soda as a deodorizer for all parts of the house. Since I have allergies and a baby I'm not keen on using fragrances. So I put boxes of baking powder in out closet, bathroom and ref to eliminate bad smells

Dahil sa thread na to napabili ako ng baking soda last week. Yung 500g ang dami ko nang nagawa. I used it as scrub and 3 days pa lang wala na whiteheads ko and di na ganun kalalaki pores ko so ginamitan ko din si hubby since madami din sha whiteheads 2 days pa lang kita na yun results kay hubby. Di na din ka oily yung face namin.

I also use it as body scrub.Mix ko lang sha with a little lemon juice. Daily ko to ginagawa hindi ko lang masyado binababad para hindi mag sting. I use this as my deo na din and super wala talagang amoy. May pawis konti pero no smell. Nagpapawis feet ko lalo na pag closed shoes, so one time, naglagay ako sa shoes before ko isuot, maghapon, yes nagpawis yung feet ko pero no odor! Ang galing.

Since madaming use din sha sa bahay pinag-iisipan ko na din mag stock ng kilo-kilo nito. Parang puro 500g lang nakikita ko sa groceries so titignan ko sa mga nagsusupply ng baking needs.

make a paste from baking soda & vinegar after taking a bath rub gently to ur ua (Do not overdo scrubbing) ako binababad ko for 5 min then rinse it off completely with water.
gawa kana din ng body/facial scrub mo baking soda + oatmeal + water(konti lang) same procedure lang ang kinis mo sigurado

i have been a longtime user of baking soda for myself and my dog

I use it as a clarifying shampoo wheni feel that there's a lot of buildup in my hair, as facial scru when i run out of my regular scrub, as a dishwashing detergent for the oily pots and pans and for getting rid of my dog's doggy smell..

I used this nung nagkabreak out ako. Nagdry agad yung pimples pero mahapdi. And I also use this sometimes as a toothpaste substitute, mix three teaspoons of baking soda and two teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide. Medyo noticeable yung effect nya. I saw this online, scroll down banda gitna andun yung beauty and health uses ng baking soda. Just go to tipnut tapos look for baking soda. Di pa po ata ako pwede magshare ng links.

buy 1kilo of baking soda sa bakery supply kanina very cheap at 30pesos per kilo, mag start na ako ng baking soda ritual...ask ko lang how many times a week ba dapat ang scrubbing sa body & ua nito???

^ sis i think depende sa kayang i take ng skin mo. sakin body scrub ako every other day kaya ko tiisin yng hapdi actually nag eenjoy ako sa hapdi  sa ua naman 2x a week lang sakin. mura yan ha 30php per kilo
