sis hayne22, kung hindi naman kayo very particular sa date i suggest get the 3pm slot na available pa. pero kung significant yung preferred date nyo then go for a 9am wedding. that's my opinion lang ha kasi mas hassle sa part ng guests yung late night wedding. plus sa tagaytay kasi mahirap ang commute especially at night, of course we know naman hindi lahat may sasakyan. saan area kayo sis? kasi mahirap din bumyahe ng sobrang aga so it will be better kung magstay na lang din ang ibang guests especially entourage sa hotel nyo, yun nga magastos yung ganun!

sis April30, nakakantok talaga at ang hirap gumising ng maaga! yun nga lang siguro pag ikaw talaga ang bride maeexcite ka at mawawala ang sleepy moments. hearing different stories for a morning wedding makes me more excited and happy as well na somehow we made the right decision to pursue this.  ;) ;D

In fairness, nakangiti pa rin is bride kahit muntik na ma-stress.

Hi all! Morning din ang wedding ko on 2014. My only challenge is getting caterers give me brunch menu ( I'm thinking omelettes, waffles, etc etc). Would you know any caterer that can do this? Thanks and Happy Preps :)

Have you asked the usual wedding caterers? You can check http://www.femalenetwork.com/girltalk/index.php/topic,262125.0.html for favorites  :)

Feeling ko naman they can customize according to your needs.

^^yes sis, ask your preferred caterer if they have breakfast or brunch menu or if they can customized one for you. kami kasi we''ll have a lunch reception na since the reception proper will start at 11am so siguro program muna ng konti then cocktails tapos mga 12 or 12:30pm will serve the buffet lunch na.

kami rin morning ang wedding, 10am naman kami kaya sakto lang din for lunch ang reception. naalala ko pa, 2am na ako nakatulog nun kasi may mga relatives kaming dumaan sa hotel dahil kararating lang ng lola ko from abroad, mega sipsip sila para maambunan, lol! then gumising ako before 4am kasi darating ng 4am yung makeup artists ko, good thing at magaling sila.. hindi halatang less than 2hrs lang itinulog ko. ang maganda pa sa morning wedding, pag tapos na ceremony and reception, parang makakahinga ka na ng maluwag kasi tapos na yung preps, gastos and all.

kami rin 10 am nagstart wedding yung prep 5 am nagstart kasi may photoshoot pa before going to church, mahigpit kasi sa oras yung simbahan! pinili ko morning wedding para maagang makakapagpahinga after ng wedding and napansin ko kasi pag afternoon yung wedding at gabi na yung reception karamihan sa mga guest naguuwian di pa man tapos ang program

^^I think mga 11:30 sis.

Mga sis, need your help to decide.

Non-negotiable kasi yung date ng wedding namin it's very special kaso Monday  :-\

Pag Monday morning, baka traffic kaso kung maging gabi naman yung reception, baka magmadali umuwi mga guests may pasok pa kinabukasan. We're still undecided on the timings  :(

^ Sis, my boyfriend's bestfriend got married on a Monday. Most of the working guests (the others kasi came from abroad pa so no work the next morning to think about) left middle of the program which was around 9:30pm.

If I were in your position, I'll chose the morning ceremony. Kawawa kasi yung guests (working and children) if there's work/school the next day. For sure they took a leave na on your wedding day so they wouldn't want to skip work again the next day (unless close talaga kayo).

Just make sure to adjust the start time and take into account potential time spent in traffic. Also, you can ask your COOD or whomever will be in touch with your guests that day to update them with traffic news c/o mmdatraffic.interaksyon.com or the free GPS thing for mobile phone. Most importantly, the ceremony and reception venue should be at the same place or very near each other to avoid spending more time in traffic.  :)

^^how about a mid-morning ceremony then lunch reception?

Para hindi sasabay sa rush hour traffic tapos may window na for coding (10am - 3pm yata yung window, EXCEPT in Makati)  ;)

Thanks sa input sis!

We're eyeing Light of Love tapos Mt. Carmel or Archbishop's Palace yung church (depende kay Fiance kasi gusto niya sana aircon which is AP).
Tapos parang maganda yung place pag medyo madilim na so baka pwede din kung 1 or 2PM wedding, 3 or 4PM travel to venue di pa heavy traffic nun tapos early dinner.

^hhmm.. You think so sis? Was considering libante strings kasi super ok ang repertoire nila halos lahat ng gusto kong songs nandun. Hehe.

they sing pop and rnb kaya hindi kau aantukin kahit lunch ang ceremony..
