mas maganda ang morning wedding para may time pa for honeymoon kasi madaming nagsasabi sa akin na after the wedding super pagod na sila ang honeymoon nangyayari the morning after the big day na..

Our church ceremony is scheduled at 10am on May 15, 2015, sa Silang, Cavite...initially I was thinking, laking hassle sa guests (esp coz it's on a weekday and they must go on leave from work), but then I thought--the main reason why I wanted so off a schedule at so far a place (well, not really...although most of us come from QC kasi) is because the guests who will be there truly loves me (so I made it sort of a gauge on who are sincerely willing to make sacrifices for me and my H2B). :)

But -- what time shall preparations start?!? I wonder :)

Morning wedding...

I wanted a morning wedding too until i was invited to one! Had to wake up at 4am! Plus i think my friend looked puyat kahit may concealer. If i woke up at 4, pano pa kaya sya? Maybe on one of my or h2b's bday, brunch reception para matupad ang dream breakfast menu!!! :)

Morning wedding ako sa st. john paul ii parish sa eastwood. my ceremony was at 9:30 a.m.! gising na ako ng 2 a.m. hehe. hindi na ako nakatulog. 3:30 a.m. nagdadatingan na yung mga suppliers ko. may perks din naman sha. finished na kami by 2:30, so medyo relaxed na kami ng hapon. nung gabi, pinuntahan kami ng ibang friends, parang mini after party.

Morning wedding kami kasi:

1) relatively late na kami na-engage. we had 9 months to prepare, january ang wedding, medyo peak season na. by the time we were looking for a church, lahat ng afternoon slots taken na

2) feeling namin makakatipid kami kasi di namin kelangan ng full band, mobile bar, lights, less gastos for crew meals, mas casual ang dating kaya kahit cocktail dresses lang for ento (mas mahal kasi pag long gowns)

if i had to do it all over again, ganon ba ulit? yes! maliit na bagay lang ang paggising ng maaga. mas trip ko [textspeak!] pros kaysa sa mga cons. :)

A morning wedding in Tagaytay by July 2017 sounds wonderful to me... Because that's what we'll be having. haha! Just hoping and praying for the best kasi maulan ng mga panahong ito.

Hi ladies,

Just want to ask your opinions regarding a morning wedding ceremony and a lunch reception. Btw, im a march 2018 bride. My wedding ceremony starts at 10am kasi and 1 1/2 hours yung binigay samin na time ng church so mga 11:30 tapos na kami sa simbahan. Before 12 nasa reception venue na yung mga guests since sobrang lapit lang ng simbahan sa reception venue. I like the 2pm wedding ceremony better kaso may nagpapencil book na ng ganung time, sabi naman sa church if hindi kunin yung time na yun they'll give it to me. Conditioning myself na for a 10am wedding just in case di na talaga mapunta yung 2pm. How's the program and preps pala for a morning wedding? Thanks!

^ i have attended pa nga a 7:30am wedding before and everything went well naman.
Gutom is there but since masinop naman the flow of events, hindi masyado ramdam and everybody was happy. This was a provincial wedding na ginastusan and hindi pa nga uso that time ang cocktails while waiting for the bride and groom at the reception venue. I was part of the entourage and we had to wake up around 3:30am. The reception venue was a 30minute drive from the church but like I said, everybody was happy and enjoyed that day. It was the wedding of my cousin by the way.

^^ Morning wedding kami, 9am. Pero it turned out to be a good thing kasi halos walang traffic on the way to the church (and this was end of December- peak season sa Tagaytay). And our guests din kasi, hindi na masyado ma-"party" (most of my friends have babies na) so sakto lang yung lunch reception.

My call time was 2:30! So less than two hours lang tulog ko haha. Pero di ko naman na-feel yung antok. :) Thankfully all of my suppliers naman were on time.

Malapit lang din yung reception venue namin sa church, so we made sure din na madaming food for cocktails. Yung program namin, first dance lang and prenup AVP, tapos kain na agad. And we had two buffet tables and yung iba pinakuha na ng food before mag-take ng photos with us. When I asked, mukhang wala naman nagutom. And most of the guests din stayed until the very end, since maaga pa  ;D.

The best part was, tapos na kami by 3pm, and since hindi kami nakakain ng maayos sa reception (as expected naman), nag-dinner date na lang kami afterwards. First date as a married couple   ;D

Yung disadvantage for me is you have less time for prep shots, hindi din kami naka-shoot outside the venue kasi madilim pa. And some suppliers charge extra din for early morning weddings or you have to book a hotel for them.
