nakakatawa my bf the other day I tried on Sugar Plum fairy from Wet n Wild, tapos tinawag ko siya I said "look oh! parang Rebel!" and he was like "oo nga noh!" with matching gulat. haha! he was amazed hindi daw halatang mura lang.

I tried MAC Rebel again last night, sabi kasi nung SA sa MAC Shang na bagay daw sakin. So naghukay ako sa baul at nakita ulit si Rebel. It's too dark on me, medyo goth ang dating ko. Gabi ko pa na-try yon, ano pa kaya kung umaga? Pero try ko ulit bukas ng umago before I let go.

rebel on me naman is berry. kaya i keep on looking for a deeper shade. ibang-iba talaga yung rebel on the tube compared to when i apply it on my lips. ang layo.

@sis kittyfairy, parang mas pwede isheer out yung Rebel, pero observation ko lang to from the texture I see on others. Saakin kasi Sugar Plum Fairy can't be worn sheer, yung rebel sa unang swipe parang hindi ganon kakapal.
Pero ang tapang din ng color ng Sugar Plum Fairy saakin di ko pa magait. Mas wearable pa Nars Volga which is darker.

I found L'oreal Intense Plum from my mom's stash. Indeed, it's very intense! Hahaha. When I tried it, first swipe pa lang ang kapal na niya. Very goth ang aura. Tinanggal ko agad. hahaha

Using MAC Rebel again today, ok pala siya. What I did was apply then blot evenly. mas ok effect niya sa akin and mukhang bagay naman. Haha! Will check NARS Volga at NARS tom

When i saw volga on retailtherapy, i got hesitant na. Kita kasi talaga yung comparison with black orchid. Volga's nice but baka 'di ko kaya ganun ka-dark. Try ko check later sa Shang if meron.

^ darker sya talaga than Black Orchid. Nakakita na ako ng Black Orchid in person though di ko naswatch, and it doesn't look black at all.
Nakahanap na ako ng Revlon Black Cherry online, pero bigla akong nagdalawang isip, biglang nagburst yung plums ko, ang nagagamit ko palang sa labas, yung Clinique in Grandest Grape. lol

^^agree. mas nagustuhan ko black orchid kaya pass muna ako. Pass din ako sa black orchid kasi walang budget. I want to get UD Naked Basics Palette para maiba naman.

^Tin, how's the staying power of Grandest Grape? Almost got this before Christmas pero I changed my mind and got Laura Mercier's Plum Orchid instead.

I got nars valparaiso. It's lovely. Lighter siya than volga. I tried volga, 'di ko talaga carry hehe.

Caren, okay lang sakin yung staying power ng grandest grape, parang yung mga Rouge D'armani Sheer and YSL Volupte sheer candy except since mas strng yung color, mas nagsstain din siya. pero pag kumain it also fades.

p.s. mukhang maganda nga yung valparaiso! I'll save up nalang siguro for Black Orchid ng Tom Ford, iba yung tawag saakin neto kesa Revlon Black Cherry. pero as of now wala din budget sa summer nalang siguro susulitin ko na muna yung Volga. I like Volga on me kasi it's dramatic but not too loud sakin, parang Snow White na after kumain ng poisoned apple.

ayoko sana bumili plum lipstick, kaso bumagay sakin yung plum paradise ni maybelline. saktong berry look na moist looking sa lips, i unexpectedly liked it, even boyfie liked it on my lips.
