Hi sisses, re: UnliSurf contract renewal unless magbago ka ng plan, retained lang din old plan mo. Plan 999 UnliSurf yung original plan ko nun 2012, renewed it last month. Akala ko din mababago kasi nga nag-iba na postpaid plans ngayon, pero nun tinanong ko yung CSR nun nagrenew ako wala naman daw mababago kasi straight-up renewal lang ginawa ko. UnliSurf pa rin (though covered na ng Fair Use Policy) then same freebies as before, yung 10 minutes Globe/TM calls and 200 texts to Globe/TM. Basing on my phone's data usage, usually nalampas pa ko ng 5GB in 1 cutoff pero wala naman extra charge for data. Yung lang calls and texts to other networks ang nagiging excess ko sa plan ko.

^thanks sis. Good to know. Yun nga balak ko nung una, renew my current plan, same freebies if ireretain nila unlisurf sa plan ko. Pero napapaisip din ako if I really need the unlisurf. Sa bahay lang ako madalas and naka-wifi.

Ano palang free phone sa pag plan 1799? Gusto ko sana iPhone 6 pero mas mauuna pa lang matatapos yung contract ko. Pwede bang renewal tapos magpareserve na lang for iPhone 6?

^if you opt to wait I suggest renew your contract once IP6 comes out. Onting tiis na lang naman.

^^pwede mo muna iavail yung rebate program nila once magend contract mo then avail ka ng ip6 once lumabas na sya. Pinacancel ko yung request ko for renewal para sa plan 1299. Tsaka ako magrerenew ng 999 pero malaki cashout ko. Mas sulit kasi unli net compare sa 1299

Parang roulette ang game kapag tatatawag ka sa customer service hotline ng Globe. Sometimes, I come across a Customer Service Representative who just won't accept my complaint (akala mo siya may-ari ng Globe and hindi pwede mabawasan ang profits niya). Meron naman kailangan talaga makumpleto niya muna yung spiel niya before s/he addresses my complaint. I call about the same problem a few days later, nothing has changed except the CSR, and miraculously, kaya naman pala nila i-resolve yung complaint ko in a speedy manner.

So if you have a complaint about your Globe service and the CSR won't help you out, try calling again to talk to a different CSR.

^ true that. iba iba sinasabi ng customer service nila. minsan may alam sa issue, minsan completely clueless talaga. kaya as much as possible i troubleshoot issues myself kasi mas magulo kapag itinawag ko. except billing :/ i never had technical issues resolved ng globe, ever. kahit taon pa tinagal.

Pag post paid, pwede pa rin ba mag register sa mga unli text to all networks? May additional charge ba yun?

Kakatawag ko lang sa loyalty dept ng globe. Di na daw mareretain yung unli-surf and unli call & text to 1 globe number if I decide to recontract and get a new phone. Wala na daw kasi sa current postpaid plans nila. I can only retain those combos if I choose the rebate option, from 1799 magiging 999 na lang monthly bill ko, without a new phone. Parang lugi ako sa rebate kasi less than 900 ang ave. total usage ko. Mas tipid pa na mag-prepaid na lang ako.

If I get a new phone naman, the new combos will apply na. IPhone 5s and Samsung s5, parehong 4800 for plan 1799.

^1799 unli surf sis. Nagbago na ata sila ng rules. As is yung combos sa plan if yung rebate option ang pipillin mo. But if kukuha ka ng new phone tapos 1799 pa din monthly, the new combos will apply na daw.

^my IP5 plan with Globe will end this December. I was also told before that when the IP6 comes and I renew,  I can retain the options (like the unli call to one number, unli data plan). Basta pag nagsesettle na tell them to retain my plan 1799. Pangit na talaga ang plans na nilabas nila ngayon

Mga sis try nyo ulit tumawag, baka nagbago na sila ng rules. Sa rebate option lang daw kasi retain ang old combos. But if kukuha ng new phone, the new plans will apply.

Pero ibo-brought ko pa din yan as cs mamaya, pag tumawag siya. If she won't budge, terminate na lang ang plan. Lugi na talaga on both options for recontrating. Mas ok pa na mag-prepaid ako and wait for the new plans for iphone 6 ng globe and smart, kung alin ang mas maganda.

Tumawag na ulit yung taga-loyalty dept. Ang explanation niya is luma na daw kasi plan ko, my super plan unlisurf, Nov 2012 ko in-avail yun. Kung my best ever super plan unlisurf daw, mareretain ko yung unlisurf + unli calls&text to 1 globe number. Sabi ko papa-cut ko na lang pag ganun, she didn't counter anymore. Bill rebates lang inooffer niya. So ayaw ko na din. Lugi ako pareho.

Ako naman I have unlisurf plan 999. I have iPhone 5 pero nag-cash out kasi ako. So pag nagretain ako parang wala lang nagbago, 999 pa rin per month. What if mag-cash out ako ulit for a new phone? Hmmm. Mine will expire this January.

share ko lang. i was in megamall kahapon and i dropped by sa globe biz center, gusto ko magpa recontract and get iphone 5s. i want the nike+ipod feature kasi for my running. they said sa csr lang daw pwede magpa recontract. btw my plan is 1799. so while i was at the mall, i called up and sabi hindi daw pwede. i can only avail of the rebate na 800 sa bill. but i want the phone and when i called up before pwede naman. sabi iba na daw rules etc etc. bumalik ako sa biz ctr and yung nakausap ko pumayag naman kaso wala na silang available na ip5s, pine-phase out na daw kasi padating na si iphone 6. sabi try ko daw podium, shangri la or galleria. i asked them to check kung may available dun hindi daw pwede kasi independent flagship stores daw sila.

ok fine. so i called csr again para mag pa recontract and pickup ko na lang shangri la or podium that day since im already in the area. yung nakausap ko sabi 3-5 days processing pa daw kaya i have to wait pa. so i went to shangri la. maliit lang yung globe dun and there are only 2 person sa customer service. i had to wait almost an hour. eventually i was able to recontract and get the phone.

nakakainis nga yung mga csr ng globe kasi iba-iba sila ng sinasabi depende sa makaka usap mo. para bang may sarili silang policy na hindi maintindihan san nila napulot. pag pumunta ka naman sa globe stores minsan ang tagal matawag ng number mo. hindi rin maintindihan bakit napaka tagal nila sa isang customer.

bakit ng kaya pinalitan na ng globe yung mga old plans nila and yung mga bagong plan mukhang hindi na ok. gusto nila kumita ng mas malaki i guess.

I was told before by a CSR sa Globe Alimall na I can retain my old 1799 plan. Nagpunta ako today kasi kagabi nag sign up na ako for IP6 preorder online, so I went today to confirm it. Ang sabi pag recontracting need daw talaga baguhin yung plan. I can downgrade it below 1799 but the cash out is bigger of course. Hay naiinis ako. Anyway wala ata akong choice because ayoko namang magpalit ng number. Itong current plan ko unli data and free call/text to one number. Ngayon need mo magbayad para sa unli call/text to one number and may data cap na ang data. 
 
I had this plan since 2012, and got my IP5 then thru pre order online and it was delivered at my house. Ganito na rin gagawin ko sa IP6 less hassle pang pumila sa Globe centers
