i have a current issue with globe ngaun. actually, november pa itong issue na ito.

background lang, yung postpaid account ko sa globe is more than 5 years na. nag recontract ako sa kanila feb last year to upgrade my plan from Plan 299 to Plan 1799 and availed an iphone 5 for 4800.

then came March where they had their "system upgrade" to provide better service daw.

First issue: i availed yung plan 1799 para sa unli surf. since i changed by phone, pati sim napalitan. so i have to wait 2 hrs for the LTE of the sim to be activated. after 2 hrs, ndi na-activate si LTE. when i called their hotline, i was told that my plan was for BBMax. sabi ko WTH! nk iphone ako tas BBMax yung plan ko? i think this was resolved in 1 week.

Second issue: since their system upgarde, laging late dumadating bill ko. lagpas na yung due date bago pa dumating yung bill.

Current issue: dahil laging late yung bill, i was surprised nung na temporary disconnect yung line ko. this happend nung December na. As it turns out, my bill reached 10k+. ni charge nila ako ng 7200 for the iphone which i already paid nung feb.

up until now, hindi pa rin naresolve yung issue ko with the 7200 charge. kung [textspeak!]-[textspeak!] nang sinasabi sa akin na case na ieescalate daw nila pero wala pa ring nangyayari. they are requiring me to show a proof of purchase, e hello, last year pa kaya yun. la na sa akin yung resibo. other option ko daw is puntahan yung globe store na kung saan ko binili yung phone. sabi ko naman, bakit kailangan pa ako pumunta dun? hindi ba nila kayang kunin yun dun sa globe store?

Mga sis question po, my postpaid (BB) will end in 2 years - I'm planning to avail their iphone and upgrade my plan. Do I need to give the phone back and change my postpaid number?

^ hindi sis kasi kaya nk-lock ka for two years kasi parang yun na rin yung bayad nung phone. for your number naman, depende. kasi in my experience, nung nag down grade ako ng plan 5 years ago, i have to give up my old number. then nung nag downgrade ulit ako after 2 years, retain ko yung number ko. pero minsan, depende din sa agent na kausap mo.

sabi saken di pwede makakuha ng Iphone for recontracting so i settled for Samsung.

tapos after ko makuha ang Samsung, tumawag ako ulit, pwede pala iphone! free ang 5c then P4800 lang cash out ng 5s.

ever since prepaid pa ko, I've been loyal to Globe ~ I dont even know why! haha
I hope I dont encounter yung mga billing fiasco na nakwento here!

Though I experience the issues with losing signal (in the middle of calls pa minsan), robot phone calls (yung kausap nagiging robot voice), late texts, etc.

But I still haven't changed provider kasi super luma na ng plan hehe and I like my number

Been loyal to Globe for years. But then, had to switch to Smart para makatipid kami ni boyfriend. Then now, nag avail ako ng Note3 for plan 999+800 (cashout monthly for phone). sana hindi ako magkaroon ng malalang prob sakanila.

balak ko sanang mag postpaid kaso hindi naman ako active magtext. hindi rin active magsurf sa net, but i need internet connection for emergency~ cases (i.e. bored hehe at walang wifi hotspot sa paligid). i'm thinking of availing pocket wifi na postpaid. medyo hassle kasi mag prepaid, based on my friends' various experiences.

ok kaya ang postpaid pocket wifi ng globe? wala kayang hidden charges?

Hello. Gusto ko gawing postpaid number ko. Pero ayoko mag-avail ng promo/package nila with the new cellphone. Pwede bang ipapostpaid yung exitsing number ko lang without the new cellphone?

^no you cant. I wanted that before hindi daw pwde. You will need to apply for a new number.

hi sis alphastar. if i were you, bibili nalang ako ng pocket wifi na open line. tapos bili ka muna ng prepaid sim, 40 pesos lang naman yun tapos try mo kung ok ang signal sa area nyo. by doing this, nalaman kong di ok ang signal ng globe sa amin, mas ok ang smart. pero nung nasa laguna ako, mas ok ang signal ng globe dun kesa sa smart. prepaid na nga lang ako kasi mas hassle for me ang postpaid.

^thanks for the input sa akin naman mas hassle ang prepaid kasi pag naubusan ng load takbo pa ako sa tindahan ni aling nena pero mukhang ipapa-line ko na lang yung sim ko. so far naman na-observe ko using prepaid, ok naman ang signal at home and at work.

^np sis. haha, nag smart postpaid din kasi ako before nung nalaman kong ok ang signal.. hindi nga lang ako satisfied sa services nila kasi mabilis lang nung lock-in period. nice to know ok ang signal ng globe sa inyo, mas gusto ko customer service nila.

I'm planning to get a postpaid plan from Globe. What are the things I should know before hand? Like, efficient ba sila, okay ba signal, hidden charges, etc.?

^ Almost 2 years na ko postpaid subscriber, so far okay naman. Wala naman ako naging problem with hidden charges or such. Plan 999 unlisurf yung sa kin. Signal depends mostly on your location. Almost everywhere may 2G signal which is enough for calls and texts, but there are still some areas (at least here in the province) na mahina ang 3G or HSDPA which can be a bit problematic kung heavy data user ka. totoo ba na hindi na unlisurf ang new postpaid plans ngayon?

Magrerenew na ko sa January and ag advice ng CSR from their mall branch is that pag nag renew ako iretain ko pa din yung plan 1799 ko: unlisurf + unli call & text to 1 mobile, etc. Ngayon kasi iba na yung plan nila parang may mga peso credits etc., na hindi ko naman maintindihan at parang mahal na sya. May data cap na rin daw ang surfing.

Yung uncle ko ever since Globe sya at naka plan 299 siya parang 10 years ago pa daw yun lagi siyang nililigawan ng Globe na magupgrade pero ayaw niya. Every month plan 299 lang ang nagrereflect sa bill niya

^Oo sis, iba na nga ngayon yung sistema nila sa postpaid plans. Nagcheck rin ako nung isang araw kasi malapit na rin matapos yung 999 unlisurf plan ko. Wala na akong nakitang ganun ngayon. Di ko nga alam kung ano gagawin eh, kung continue ko lang yung 999...gusto ko rin kasi sana makakuha ng libreng phone, kahit anong model.
