An acquiantance of mine just had his 5 day vacation from Dubai. So while out oft he country he availed the $25 something na unlimited roaming from globe. So he was happy and all after he got his much awaited vacay. So he checked his mails and bills that arrived. So here's the globe envelope. He opened it and to his surprise, globe is charging him 3M+ for the 5 day vacation... 😁 surprised kameng lahat akala na,in joke lang but he screenshot the entire billing from globe and it isnt a joke at all. It is for real

what happened sis? di ba yan nadispute? i mean kung mayaman siguro yung owner, why not diba pero what if hindi. ang OA ng bill nakakaloka.

Nadispute na daw sabi ng friend ko. And mag issue na rin ng statement si globe yata sa newspaper. Di ko rin maintindihan how it happened basta pinost nya yung billing statement nya and sobrang shock lang kame kasi for 5 days in other country, umabot ng 3M+ yung bill nya. Nagkamali daw system ng globe yun ang last na update nya sa amin

Nasa abs-cbnnews.com yesterday pa. For me, Globe's incompetence talaga, not just an honest mistake. Damage control na lang sila ngayon.

oo grabe naman.. sabi nung friend ko nga yung isang artista na kaibigan nya .5M ang bill for 5 days sa US. pero grabe pa rin yang 3M na yan hehe!

at yang "upgrade" na yan is worth hundreds of millions of dollars pa. ang ending, pangit pa din ang service. tumawag ka nga lang sa hotline, paiba iba ng sinasabi ang mga csr. bakit nga ba ang bagal ng globe (data) sa ngayon? ayun nag smart ako for data kahit may unlidata ako sa globe, sobrang bilis ng smart at malakas signal kahit indoors.

^I don't think that's true kasi murang supplier ang pinili nila magupgrade kaya ayan madami problema.

mga sis....ask ko lang anyone of you tried applying for a new line over the phone, hotline nila na 211...last December 10 pa yung application ko ...i have been calling 211 for almost every week to follow up yung status then i got a call December 20 daw idedeliver pero walang dumating na unit.... napakapoor talaga ng customer service nila, wala man lang tumawag sa akin to inform me that the delivery wont push through..up to now wala pa din new schedule ng delivery...very frustrating nagbigay pa sila ng specific na date yun pala walang darating na delivery...buti pa sa Globe Store na lang ako ngapply akala ko mas convenient sa 211

grabe sis...super agree!! ..yung "support team " na nagaasikaso daw ng applications can only be reached by email kaya yung frontliner agent sa 211 hotline na kausap ko wala daw magagawa kung hindi mag-antay daw ng reply via email..

Sh*t  ngayon ko lang toh nabasa. Nakakatakot mga stories nyo sissies. Just applied postpaid plan online yesterday. Naku hindi ko na itutuloy. Will try nalang sa smart instead.

i have both smart (postpaid) and globe (prepaid)..

may mga area na mas okay ang smart... and may area naman mas okay ang globe...

but still.. loyal pa rin ako sa postpaid account ko..

For those with postpaid lines, nabago ata format ng billing ng Globe. Just got my e-bill today at nawala yung MRF (monthly recurring fee) kaya tuloy nagkaron pa ko credit from my last payment. Dunno, that just seems too good to be true na wala ko babayaran this month kahit yung basic P999 sa plan ko.
