Excited for this movie na, kelan kaya showing dito sa Pinas kasi Dec 25 sa US showing na. Hay sana after MMFF meron na. I'm a big fan of Anne Hathaway!

  mukhang kelangan kong i review ang story nito nakalimutan ko na, high school pa kasi ako nung pag aralan namin ang book nito, di na alam kung anong takbo ng story.

Inaabangan ko talaga this movie. Excited na ako. I like yung kay Liam Neeson but I am so eager to see this one.

Ngayon ko lang kinainisan ang mmff dahil hindi maishowing ang les miserables ng dec 25 hehe. Nako sana ipalabas na agad sa January.

Don't take someone who doesn't like musicals with this. I took le boyfriend with this one and he was so bored. haha. The movie is literally all singin'. The BF was making fun of the wolverine singin and the gladiator belting his voice.

Samantha Barks was well casted for Eponine. I'm glad they dint cast Swift for the part.

Sobrang insecurity nito sa katawan.  Malamang sour graping ito dahil hindi siya kasama sa cast.

So how did you find the movie? I wasn't able to watch last December 25 but I am going tomorrow. I read the novel, but never seen the play.

if you're someone who genuinely likes/loves musicals it's very touching, there's a few scenes that'll tug your heartstrings. I was surprised that when we watched it ang daming tweens inside the cinema, ayun by the middle of the movie bored na sila. Maybe they thought it's sort of like Glee. It's not. lol. I felt sorry tuloy for the people who really wanted to appreciate the movie but came in too late and had bad seats. (us included)

It's was well made. Although I still say Salonga would've made a good Fantine.  i know i know, it wouldve been hard to "English-fy" her looks lol. Mejo I don't like Hathaway in this one. She should stick to purely acting.

And for Lambert bashing the movie, chosera siya, if he wants to see a legit musical eh di pumunta siya sa world tour showing of LeMis. I think it's actually good that they're bringing classic novels/plays and showing them to the modern world where people don't have to pay $100+ for a show. Kaysa naman countless killings, vampires, and mistress movies. He should stop being a broadway snob. Of course they're not seasoned singers. I don't think people would be intrigued to see unfamiliar faces belting their vocals out.

Taon ang binilang bago ko natapos basahin ang librong ito (unlike Ana Karenina na hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa tapos hahhaha) kaya I want to see the movie hahahah.

Not a fan of musical, yung Glee na nga lang di ko mapagtyagaan eh. The last musical play I've seen a Beauty and the Beast pa.

Pwede ko sigurong pagtyagaang panoorin. Sabi ng isa kong kaibigan just now--"emotionally marvelous " Parang nagigets ko na hahahha.

napanuod ko pa lang ang tagalized cartoons nito "Les Miserables, Ang mga munting pangarap ni Cosette" yung title.. I would say heart breaking talaga siya.. lalo na yung mga nangyare kay Fantine which was played by Anne Hathaway. Sana nabigyan ng justice ni Anne yung pagkakaportray niya kay Fantine.

I am reading its paperback edition. and papanuorin talaga sa January 16 yung movie na yan. Kung sa cartoons pa nga lang na-antig na ko..

Bagay na bagay talaga ang titile na Les Miserables (The Poor Ones), dahil sa mga pangyayare sa lives nila.

Your boyfriend will appreciate the Liam Neeson version of Les Miserables. No singing at all, purely story, so it would be easier to get. And, of course, it's Liam Neeson! Uma Thurman played Fantine in this version, no going bald scene tho. And no Eponine. Movie was released late 90's. Should have copies out now, given how popular it suddenly is again.

^ he sat through it naman. it's just that he corelated the actors to The Wolverine and The Gladiator lol. that's why he couldn't wrap around his mind at it first. But let me convince him if he wants to see another LeMis version. teehee.

For me, Eponine (samantha barks) shone bright like a diamond here. lol.
