gusto ko magpa-cut today and timing nasa Makati ako so I tried my luck kay Mr. Shin ng walk-in. As expected full pero nung nagpapasched nako for tomorrow he said na gagawin nalang nya ko. hehe!

I wanted to have bangs very badly kaso rounded face ako pero nung chineck ko yung catalog nila bagay naman so kahit "strong" yung hati ko tinuruan nalang ako ni Mr. Shin na ayusin and im very satisfied. got compliments already too! kailangan lang din sanayin pa at ngayon lang talaga ako nag full bangs. hehe!

So happy with my 3rd stracurls, although i think yung 2nd ko ang the best talaga. Buti na lang nag-stick pa rin ako kay mr. shin. Ang mahal kasi makapal at mahaba hair ko pero pag tumitingin ako sa salamin di ko na naiisip yung gastos ko  naingit yung friend ko na sa iba nagpaperm, maganda daw kasi ang curls ko.

^ Loving my stracurls too! I love that I can easily get up from bed and be done with it. After washing it lang ang medyo matrabaho but it's really worth it.

Mahal and kakapagod and time consuming pero bawing bawi. Next year ulit

I want to go back to Beauty Brick and have my hair permed again My first experience was really good. Although lately, I stopped putting products na on my hair. I don't comb it pa rin but no more maintenance na. So far, wavy pa rin hair ko. If you guys stop doing maintenance, di pa naman mawawala yung curl, but it will be more wavy than permed. I like my hair that way, so it's win-win situation for me. Hehe.

Waaah dapat talaga sa BB na ko pumunta eh! Huhu im so disappointed with my perm with tony and jackey sm southmall.  Biglaan lang pagpapaperm ko last night because natuwa ako sa promo na 2100 with haircut and keratin treatment. But before they even started ang dami nilang add on products na binebenta..sobrang nakakairita [textspeak!] ginagawa nilang pagpilit kasi ang mahal ng products. They were telling me na damaged na daw kasi hair ko so I need to take the treatment that costs 3k so I said sige next time na lang ulit when I have the budget na. Hanggang sa binaba nila ng 2k. Kaso ayoko parin kasi nakalagay naman sa ad nila na may treatment na kasama. I was refusing to push thru with the perm na kasi baka di nga maganda effect pag wlaang treatment but they told me na macucurl parin naman daw hair ko. Parang ayaw na nila ko pakawalan so with or without the tretmt they want me to take, tinuloy nila. Knowing na damaged hair ko (had my hair rebonded 2 years ago and colored it a year ago na kaso mejo brittle talaga strands ng hair ko)

Hanggang sa matapos [textspeak!] treatment binebentahan ako ng ibat ibang staff nila ng ibat ibang products din. Paguwi ko pa lang ang panget na ng curls ko...buhaghag at straight na [textspeak!] iba ng parts. Now i don't know what to do..kung ibabalik ko ba and demand na ayusin nila or just libe with this mess. Huhu

i couldnt agree more. i did all the "maintenance" drill necessary. although at some point my curls will fall gracefully without doing anything. First 3 months i had this love-hate relationship with my hair.

off topic, but i love your hair color! may i know kung san ka nagpacolor and what shade it is?

on topic: loving my curls din! 1 1/2 months na perm ko, medyo loose na sa bandang likod, pero basta natutwist and scrunch ko sya, okay naman. im thinking of having it retouched by May or June. okay lang ba magpaperm ulit kahit na may leftover permed hair pa?

How much hair cut kay mr. Shin?

@ pink_stardust thanks sis. Yung last hair color ko ash brown yung shade sa azta urban atc ako nagpagawa. Pero before nyan yung haircolor ko light brown. Medyo naging ombre yung dating ng hair ko dahil sa recent color at na tone down ng kaunti. Yung likod ko din yung unang nagloosen eh. Nabasa ko sis sa isang blog sa beauty brick din sya nagpaperm sa second perm nya, pinaputol nya daw yung old hair nya. Mas kakapit daw kasi pag yung bagong tubo or walang chemical yung ipeperm uli.

had my 2nd perm done last january 31 by no other than Mr. Shin.. was so excited kasi humaba na yung hair ko, kaso ginupit niya.. and i think, small medium yung ginawa  nya.. so few days after, super small curls ko.. so what i did, i brush it everyday then use some holding prods, kaya ok na yung curls ko ulit even mejo maikli buhok ko. buti na lang kasi am planning to cut it short pa naman.. buti na lang din at napigil ko sarili ko..

anyone here natry magpa big curls? last perm ko kasi i think medium-big ginawa sakin. 18/22 if tama pagkaalala ko. balak ko kasi sana this time around big curls na talaga totally.

5 months na perm ko pero pag 7 mos na ako paparetouch in time for my SIL's wedding. Gusto ko na rin mag bigger curls, parang di ko bet tong maliliit na curls ko ngayon altho kulot pa rin kahit 5 mos na. maganda lang sya kung dalawa ang partition, kaso yung likurang part straight na talaga hehe.

1.5 months na perm ko. small size ang pinagawa ko. now loose na. believe me, I know I did all that I had to do.

plan ko palang magpaperm, mukhang ok dito sa bb. question lang mga sis if ever i-trim ni mr. shin ang buhok ko before ng treatment may bayad rin ba iyong trim or kasama na iyon sa bayad para sa digital perm?

thanks sa reply sis. nakaschedule na ako for digiperm sa saturday morning. grabe marami na kaming nakasched ng umaga palang. at lahat nga sila bumabati pag may pumasok na customer.

nakakatawang part kasi nasa likod lang pala iyan ng office namin dati. hinanap hanap ko pa, malapit lang pala sya sa frank provost.

from ust sakay ka ng jeep or fx papuntang buendia. then baba kang buendia sakay ka naman ng jeep papuntang guadalupe. then baba ka sa makati avenue sa may pacific star tapos tawid ka papuntang gasoline station dti. deretso ka lang tapos unang street after buendia na iyong jupiter. tapos kaliwa ka madadaanan mo iyong kfc, music 21, animal house, strumms, lutong macau, frank provost then iyong dona consolacion bldg na. andun na iyong  beautybrick.

kakapaperm ko lang kahapon. gusto ko ang service nila. magagalang lahat ng staff at asikaso talaga si mr. shin sa mga customers. di rin sila namimilit na bumili ka ng product nila. kung papasok ka sa bldg lahat sila bumabati sayo ng good morning or good afternoon pag nagbayad ka naman lahat sila magtathank you sayo.

question, paano i.tie yung hair na permed para longer lasting yung curls? o mas defined ang curls? paano i.tie into a bun?

^if i may, i just tie my hair as is or kahit anong tali na paikot ok naman curly pa rin hair ko, it's been 4months na.

When i went there i even asked if meron silang hair treatment kasi damaged na hair ko. They said sa bahay na lang daw ako mg treatment evey weekend kasi ganun din naman. they explained to me din na it wont be that curly and i said ok lang. They set my expectations na how my hair will turn out as hindi na nga healthy and hair ko. It turned out ok naman. wavy more on curly side which i like.

^^ ahh thanks sis.. kase nakita ko sa isang blog nga may preferred way of tying it daw. And if Im not mistaken, I think it was shin ata who taught her na maging bun o sock bun ata..

kase noon may kilala ko nagpaperm she tied it in a way na parang mukhang baliw looool twist and loop each one. hihi so wary ako maging ganun kase ginawa niya sa work then parang wavy na ewan yung labas.. like corn hair (blondie kase)
