Laoag, Vigan and Pagudpud Thread 11

^^^ ya, choose to stay in blue lagoon. kaloka ang beach. sobrang ganda. sana dun kami nag stay next time nalang for me

@luscious_peach and @bagaholic_chewy, we decided on a day trip to Pagudpud.  Sa Playa Tropical in Currimao na lang kami mag-overnight.  We can rent out a hut at Casa Consuelo, mukhang maganda nga.

^ uy, Playa Tropical is nice. Husband and I stayed there before, spacious suite and nagandahan ako sa furnishing. Tapos masarap and mura lang food sa resto nila. It's about a two-hour drive to/from Pagudpud, add 30mins if ma-traffic or if medyo mabagal driver nyo. If sa may Blue Lagoon kayo magla-lunch, you can also check out the resto at Kapuluan Vista Resort, medyo pricey than usual for the area pero masarap.

^ Thanks for the tips.  Hubby is from Laoag but it has been three years since we went as a family.  Marami ng bago.  May SM na nga sa Laoag.

Di kami nag-swimming sa Currimao e... Only in Pagudpud, and mainly sa Blue Lagoon. Sandali lang kami sa may Saud beach..

Stayed in tartarugas's in Saud super linis and bago ng hotel and bait ng mga staff super maasikaso kaya number 1 sila sa trip advisor e

@ sis purpleish bago lang sya, kaso d sya beach front pero malapit lang mga 3 minutes walk lang nasa beach kana.

@sis thebratinella, di kolang sure kung malapit sya kase d ko nakita yung el juliana hotel sa heritage village e. Ang sigurado ako na malapit and within the heritage village

Day 0
- Evening bus to Vigan

Day 1
- Arrived Vigan
- Lunch at Cafe Uno (I would go there again)
- Vigan Kalesa Tour
- Dinner at Mang Inasal
- Overnight at Hem's Apartelle (The place is clean, comfy, has basic amenities, and the guard/front desk/etc is really helpful. Would stay here again.)

Day 2
- Bus from Vigan for Batac
- Drop off at Batac Museum
- Batac/Paoay/Laoag Trike Tour
** Batac Marcos Museum, Marcos Mausoleum, Paoay Church, Paoay Lake, Paoay/La Paz Sand Dunes, Malacanang of the North, Fort Ilocandia, Sinking Belltower, Ilocos Museum
** Decided not to go to Tabacco Monopoly, Aurora Park, St. William Cathedral because we didn't want to arrive too late in Pagudpud
- Late lunch at Laoag (Johnny Moon) - I had pinakbet and it was extremely salty, pero since masarap kahit salty, naubos ko pa rin hehe
- Bus to Pagudpud after lunch
- Dinner at CasaBlanca, Terra Rika Resort - Super bad trip ako by the time I got here kaya siguro hinde ko na enjoy yung food dito. Parang okay naman food nila.
- Overnight at Pagudpud - Cathy's Homestay

Day 3
- Pagudpud North Tour + Windmills (Trike)
** Kabigan Falls, Timangtang Rock, Bantay Abot, Blue Lagoon, Patapat Viaduct, Agua Grande, Paraiso ni Anton, Bangui Windmills
- Lunch at a resto in windmills, forgot the name
- Bus from Bangui Windmills to Burgos
- Trike from Burgos bus drop-off to Kapurpurawan Rock
- Same trike to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
- Bus to Laoag
- Overnight at Laoag Renzo Hotel (Would stay here again)

Day 4
- Trike to Laoag Airport


Does somebody have any idea what the airport shuttle schedule is? The one from Laoag City to Airport?
- I really haven't figured this out
- I called the mayor's office (they don't know), tourism office (no answer), Philippine Airlines Laoag airport office (they don't know)
- Hotel staff told me that there's a bus 1 hour before each flight
- Diba 15 minutes to airport? So one will arrive 45 minutes before the flight. Diba mag close ang check-in 45 minutes before the flight?
- I asked mga trike, they said 1 lang daw sa morning mga 8am then another sa hapon, mga 5pm
- Wala talagang matinong sagot

@sis thebratinella: Parang 15-30 minutes by trike ata sabi ng guide namin, if I'm not mistaken.. Haha parang ang layo ng difference ng 15-30min a

Just booked our Ilocandia tour via AA Express at P3550/pax, 4D3N. Not bad na rin kase gusto talaga namin ng convenience and we get to stay overnight in Pagudpod pa. Excited much!

^^Thanks, sis. We have a free day kasi sa 5 day-trip. Parang mas okay for us to spend it in Pagudpud kaysa sa Vigan.
