After 7 business days inabot sis or one week kasama na weekends? Hindi ko nga alam if ipo-postpone ko ba interview after ng Singapore trip or aagahan namin like 1st week of March. Worried kasi ako baka di ko makumpleto supporting docs by then. If sa 13 ang interview namin it only leaves us 6 business days for the delivery of the passport, pag na-delay hindi kami makakaalis going to Sing.

Yes, may friend kaming ganyan ginawa.  LPR na ang mom nya dun, nurse din kaya siguro naging madali para sa kanya logistics-wise - sang hospital manganganak, OB-GYN etc.  Tourist lang yung friend namin.  Pumunta sha dun after her first trimester yata.  Hindi pa halata na buntis sha.  Bat mo gustong manganak dun?

^^ pwede naman, but you have a lot to consider:
 - budget (mahal manganak sa US unless you have insurance that can cover it)
 - time frame (as a tourist, you have max 6mos stay. Will you be able to give birth, process your baby's travel documentso, etc within the time frame? Otherwise, baka ma-overstay ka)
 - your future visa chances (if you give birth and overstay, it might affect your chances of being approved when you renew your US tourist visa)
 - family support (people in the US are busy, who will help you take care of the baby after you give birth, before you go back to Manila?)
 - etc, etc

do you think i'll have a good shot at getting a tourist visa? I really really really need to go there to see my bf but of course i can't state that as my reason.

-Trip is for recreation (shopping, sightseeing, seeing old friends)
-Cannot work in the states as my profession requires a Masters degree equivalent there
-No properties (land/car -- hindi ipinangalan sakin though kasama ako sa nagbabayad lol)

^You've got a good chance sis, just show that you can support yourself and you are well travelled.  Indicate your friend's address on the application form to justify that you won't be needing a hotel reservation.

^ yikes sis, i am not well traveled blank na blank pa passport ko. would this be a red flag?

add ko lang this detail: i cannot be married to my bf there kasi he is still married w/ his (ex) wife and he can't divorce her until matapos residency period nya for citizenship -- though i think i should leave out all info re: my having a bf in the US

^Can you at least go to HK or SG para you'll be able to establish a travel history?  and yes, I think you should avoid mentioning about your boyfriend in the application form kung married pala sha.

mga sis question lang alam ko medyo parang naulit na ito pero ang katanungan ko kasi ang mom ko ang pinag aaply namin sa us. kasi dad ko ever since asa us talaga. dual citizen. so ngayon ang story ito.
dati nung bata pa kami pinition kami ng dad ko kaso nagkaroon ng fraud kasi single pala nang lola ko
nipetition ang dad ko kahit married na sila ng mom ko. so parang ang naging ban is hindi niya kami ma petition. ngayon ang question ko, is there any way my mom can try to apply for a tourist visa na sponsor ng dad ko? pero si mom lang hindi kami kasama. kasi naawa lang ako kasi matanda na sila hindi padin sila manlang nagkakasama nang silang 2 lang. pero uuwi din mom ko kasi may brother pakong nagaaral and siya nag aalaga nang baby ko since im an OFW.

Would it be a problem if i state that i plan on staying in the states for as long as possible i.e. 6 months? Kasi baka isipin nila i won't have funds if i don't work for half a year but i also have an internet based mode of income so kahit hindi ako mag work i still get about $1000 a month

hello mga sis, care to share your opinion regarding our status?

Profile:

- 34 years old, married, husband is 36, businessman si hubby, housewife ako although tapos ako ng BS Bio and BS nursing, passed the boards too.

- we have two kids (9 years old and 2 years old)

- meron kaming two cars under our name, two lots under my name only, pero house wala, since nakatira kami sa house ng parents ko.

- we have a business registered in DTI and BIR

- we travelled Hongkong, Macau, Singapore (although ako lang sa SG), then pupunta kami sa South Korea in Nov 2014

- Parents and only brother are all in the US (california)

- I have an existing petition, petition ng kapatid at daddy ko sa akin


Kaya pa kaya mabigyan kami ng tourist visa? na denied na kami once kasi. Hay, bakit ganun, wala naman kaming plano na mag TNT, kung pwede lang mag bond ng money na lang para ma assure sila na babalik ka.

Last question, even if i say  sa application and interview na 2 months lang ako magstay, would there be a problem if i stayed hanggang 6mos? Sayang din kasi yung airfare, sagot naman nila ako sa lodging.

^wala na sila paki kahit lumagpas yung actual stay mo versus sa application mo.

as long as bumalik ka before sa date na ibibigay sayo sa immigration.

@Snowball -  Bat kayo na-deny dati?  Kulang daw ba sa ties kasi andun na lahat ng family mo?

Sis dulcette, if you state on your application form that you're planning to stay 2 months pero the consul gave you 10 years multiple visa AND the immigration officer in your port of entry in the US gave you permission to stay for 6 months, wala na sila magagawa if you extended beyond the number of months you stated in your application form.  Even if wala na sila magagawa, ok lang to kasi the immigration officer permitted you to stay until 6 months.

thanks for the info!  try ko mag-apply hopefully second half of this year, ipon muna ulit
