Hi sis, magaaply din ang mga parents ko ng tourist visa, kc nandun yung brother ko sa us. May bahay na sila dun. And gusto sana ng parents ko isama ako kaso natatakot ako.hehe. Wala kc akong work wala din akong income ako lang kc nagaalaga sa parents ko lahat ng mga kapatid ko may mga asawa na lahat. So ako nlang kasama nila. Do you think if mg apply ako, do i have a chance?

Hi Sisses,

I'm really want to get a US visa for travel. Pero nag aalangan ako kasi I don't have sufficient BANK transactions. Pero to say here are my qualifications

1. 3 years na akong working sa HP
2. nasa 300K++ yung annual income ko
3. Nagtravel na rin ako sa iba't ibang asian countries
4. yung parents ko, sisters ko multiple entry na rin sila

waaaaaaaah magiging issue ba yung pera? pwede ko ba ipkita na lang yung ATM transaction ko? hahahaha!

^there's no harm in trying you just need a bank certificate that shows you have enough money to fund a trip. minsan hindi naman hinihingi ng consul yun

Bank certificates are no longer honored by the US embassy since it'd be easy to deposit show money and make it appear as if you have a huge amount the day that they issue the certificate.  What you need is a list of your bank transactions kasi mas eto ang tinitingnan nila, kung consistent na may pumapasok na pera sa account mo. 

Try ka lang.  Wala naman mawawala dba.  Approved man or hindi, at least you got to experience it and in case denied, you know how to prepare better for next time.

Last year Dec 10 interview ng hubby and mga anak ko... (meron na kase ako). Sumama lang ako kase para sa dalawa naming anak (ages 7 and 6). Prayers indeed do wonders talaga. Ang prayer ko lang talaga non is wala sana masyado tanungin kase ayaw ko magsinungaling at ganon din asawa ko. And wala sana hanapin samin documents etc... Less talk less mistake! Saka whatever is God's will lang talaga... Sabi ko na rin na kahit 1 month lang ok na yun, irenew ko na lang ng hehe! But God is really good.. Approved silang lahat. And God answered my prayers. Ang simple lang ng mga tanong
Sa asawa ko:
1. Where do you work?
2. How long have you been working in that company?
*one year palang sya don (kaya kaba talaga ako sa sasabihin ng consul)
3. Where do you work before?

Sa mga anak namin, tinanong lang mga edad nila yon lang

Yon lang wala ng ibang hinanap at tinanong...

For those scheduled at 7am and up if you want to finish early, punta kayo at least an hour ahead of your sched. Our appointment was 7:25am and it took us 3 hours. We applied for L1 and L2, the process is shorter for tourist visas because we had to pay a fee pa. Hindi naman ganun katagal ang pagbayad, matagal lang ang pila in between steps.

Upon entry, make sure na you have your DS160 and passport (removed from its cover, if any) out. After security check, you have to get a ticket from the booth. Then wait for your number to be called in the waiting area prior to entering the building.

There are 3 groups of chairs, first is primarily for seafarers, second for all other NIVs and the farthest for IVs. They give priority to seafarers so wag magtaka if they start calling out higher numbers. They will check naman if a number is missing. Make sure na lang na makinig maigi.

Don't fret because embassy personnel will guide you in every step, pandinig lang talaga ang labanan. Check your numbers din sa screen.

They may or may not ask you for additional docs such as bank statements, certificate of employment, TOR, etc. I never heard any consul asking for these, prepare them just in case. But you need to make sure you have birth, marriage certs ready. There were applicants who failed to bring such, ayun they were advised admin processing.

Hubby was asked the nature of business of his employer, how long have we been married, how much is he going to be paid, his specialized knowledge, how different his job function in the US is from his current role and if he knew how many employees from the parent company are under L1 visa. This took less than 5 minutes.

So excited for our visas.

Ok...so sa pagkakaintindi ko, if more than 1 applicant,you still have to pay separately. Pero you can book same appointment? Kasi magapply kami ng baby ko. Ayaw ko namang masayang yun kung magkamali ako ng gagawin. Help naman po. Paturo please? Nag backread ako from page 1 parang may natanong ng ganon,di ko na mahanap ulit. Hirap kasi magbrowse,aalaga ako ng 2month old baby. TIA!

^sis if you'll get an appointment, kailangan mo muna gawa ng profile here: https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ after filling out your details, may option dun na parang add family member, dun mo i a add details ni baby para isang appointment lang kayo.  And yes separate payment kayo.  Dapat meron ka na din na Application ID, separate din kayo ni baby, you need it also sa pagkuha ng appointment.

sisses, I will be sent to San Francisco by my company for a long term assignment, gusto ko sana pasunurin yung parents ko at younger sister ko after 6 months para makapamasyal din sila at may makasama ako pero for two months lang. Wala silang bank account at ang pinagkakakitaan lang ay yung maliit na sarisari store. Grade 6 palang yung sister ko. Tingin nyo ba may chance maapprove yung visa nila? Gusto ko din sana umuwi muna para tulungan sila sa p
agprocess, kung sakali, pwede kaya ako sumama sa kanila sa embassy mismo? Worry ko kasi di sila ganun kasanay mag english. May interpreter din ba don in-case di nila ko makasama? Thanks in advance!

^pwede naman sila sis na mabigyan.  Kasi ikaw ang financier nila at long term stay ka naman sa US.

Btw, naiinggit ako sa assignment mo. San Francisco is my dream settling place.  he he he.

^in my case, I always ask to include rank, tenure, salary and approved leave dates. Good luck!

This friday na interview namin ni baby. Pwede daw isama mommy ko sa loob kasi 3 months pa lang baby ko e. Sa sobrang busy ko wala akong time para kabahan hehe. Siguro sa thursday night pa ako kakabahan. 730am appointment namin. Mahaba ba talaga pila sa labas? Kapag may baby na kasama,kelangan pa ba pumila? TIA!
