^ vain_kixie I tried first doing it online. Actually when i submitted the application nung January 30, meron sila open na slot na January 31. I was itching to get that slot kaso di pa ready docs ko and 1 day preparation is not sufficient. The next schedule na was April 22.

Tapos I called the call center, they were giving me April 26 slot kasi yun na yung earliest. So I didnt take it

When I tried it again via online, April 25 na yung naging open.

Naglalaro lang dun talaga yung schedule. Wala na talaga march. kaya mejo natagalan ako.

Prob ko kasi I put in my intended vacation to US was March 2013. E April yung slot na earliest

thanks mga sis! tanong ko kung may joint account sila. pero si papa kasi e retired na at pensionado na. tapos yun sa DS-160 dati, naalala ko si papa nga pala nilagay kong sasagot ng expenses so baka ganun na lang ulit ilagay ko ngayon. tutal same case pa rin naman yun ngayon dun sa dating application. pwede kaya yun? or mas mahigpit na ba sila ngayon at mas ok kung ako na lang ilagay kong magsshoulder ng expenses ni mama?

sis minnie99 ...sis in my case nag dala naman ako ng original copy, wala naman naging problema hindi den naman nila hininge, incase siguro na hanapin nila to check lang, hindi naman iiwan dun sa embassy yung important papers, mas alangan kasi kung photocopy ang dalhin, nagagawan na kasi ng iba na peke ngayon... iba pa den pag original documents ...nung kinuhanan ko ng visa yung daughter ko, tinanong ako how much is my money, I presented the bank certificate and my passbook, tinignan lang den sinoli den naman..

sis lakwatsa ...sis that time ilan taon ka nun nung nag apply ng visa?? kung sasabihin niya na ikaw mag sshoulder, malamang ang tanong kay mother niyan, what's your work, how much is your salary ...maganda den diyan kung makahinge ka sis ng bank certificate sayo with your bank... pero para sigurado mas maganda kung either sa account na lang ni mother or sa joint nila ng dad mo..magagawan pa naman ng paraan yun, like mag open sila ng panibagong account...

sis purpleish, tinanong ko si mama bear, nun 2006 daw nun nag apply sya e kasama nya si papa bear dun sa embassy kasi nga US citizen si papa. ngayon kaya ubra pa rin yun? parang may nabasa kasi ako somewhere na parang di na daw pwede yun e. natakot si mama haha!

parang gusto ko na lang tuloy samahan sa pag aapply.

Sisses, I have a question and I hope someone can help me.

I'm a US citizen but I live here mainly. Last na punta ko ng US 2010 pa and I've never stayed there for years kase my US citizen dad passed away when I was 10 years old so wala naman kame talaga pupuntahan don.

So anyway, I'm married and I have a 2 year old daughter. Hinde ko pa naayos petition nila PERO iniisip ko kung pwede sila kumuha ng tourist visa tapos dun ko sa US ayusin yung petition nila pag magkakasama kame. What's stopping me from filing the petition kase eh yung maiiwan ko sila dito, maliit pa kase anak ko. What do you think? I'm scared lang kase na baka malaman na US citizen ako eh ma-deny yung tourist visa application nila and ma-affect pa petition ko sa kanila in the future. May alam ba kayo na naging kagaya nitong saken?

Sis hindi ba US citizen din ang kids mo?
Baka report of birth lang dapat mong gawin sa 2 year old child mo sa Us embassy Manila.

From what I know ha those kids born outside the US  after November 1986 will automatically become a US citizen, provided that 1. Parents are married at that time. 2, U.S. citizen parent had been physically present in the U.S. or its territories for a period of at least five years
at some time in his or her life prior to the birth, of which at least two years were after his or her 14th birthday.

If you don't fall under the category above, you can file the petition here in the US embassy manila.. You dont have to physically be in the US to file for the petition. This is called Direct Consular Filing and mas mabilis nga ito mga 3-4 months lang approve na ang pwede na to fly to the states, provided that your income passes the US standards.

Makikita kasi yan na us citizen ka eh. The tourist visa application form asks for complete parents' names.

^Hinde ko kase sis na-meet yung required minimum domicile kaya hinde na-pass automatically yung citizenship sa anak ko. Ganon ang ginawa ng daddy ko samin and it was easier for him kase US Navy sya so report of birth lang ginawa nya.

I work here kase eh pero the company I work for is a US company. I dont know if that would count since reported as US citizen ako dito sa company.

Ask mo nalang sa US embassy sis if your company qualifies as an "international organization".
 You can also try to apply for a tourist visa for your child.  Possible din naman that your child will
 be granted a visa since may work ka naman dito and seem stable here in Manila.
But do not expect that you wont be denied. When that happens that's the time you apply for
their petition.

Super bilis lang yun pag directly sa US embassy manila. As in I hear na 3 months approve na
and ready to fly out to the States. Kaya hindi parin namin inaayos ng hubby ko yung papers
ko kasi nga mabilis lang naman daw.

got approved today. walang hiningi na kahit anong docs. although daming denied before me. the point lang talaga is to assure them that you are coming back

Sisses question, alam ko natanong na to pero mangungulit lang ako.. Maliit lang kase yun savings ko, mostly nasa investments (stocks, pautang)natatakot ako baka di ako maaprove (dahil walang enough source of funds?!) iniisip ko ibenta yung stocks ko para ilipat sa savings pero naghihinayang naman ako.. Business purpose lang naman and wala talaga ko balak mag stay dun lalo na at may work at baby ako dito..

sis you can show your stock certificates naman instead of turning into liquid, sayang din yung
investment mo doon. Again, there are so many angles that the Consul is looking at. Isa
lang doon ang financial ability mo.

If you have no intentions to stay in the US, then just show what you can to prove that like your
employment certificate etc. It's a 50/50 chance talaga eh. Just be truthful during the interview and
im sure the consul will see your real intention. All the best!

Thanks sis. Napanghihinaan nga ako ng loob eh, kase lahat ng anggulo na tinitignan ko nawawalan agad ako ng pag asa.hehe. Tulad ng hindi ko pagiging frequent traveller,ngayon pa lang kami mag uumpisa mag travel ni hubby ayaw ko kase magtravel ng baby pa anak ko.hehe..

Pinadaanan ko nga yun ibang requirements, may picture talaga ng house? Pano yun eh late this year pa matuturn over ang bahay namin. Hehe..

May malalayong kamag anak daw kami don, pero hindi ko kilala. Di ko tuloy alam kung makakasama or makakabuti yan pag tinanong ako.heheh.  Nabasa konga na ang trabaho ng consul ay magdeny ng visa, up to us kung pano natin papatunayan na babalik talaga..
