Don't ever say your visiting your boyfriend in the states because you will most likely get denied.

i dont know what to state as a reason for coming to US. i have relatives there, but not sure if they could help. can i say that i'll just be visiting my aunts and cousins? or this reason will likely get me denied?

the reason why the statement "visiting the boyfriend" will most likely get you denied is because they will think that you will get married there and never come back.

Visiting relatives is a good reason, add shopping to that or anything to boost their economy would fine.

Do you have travel history? Although hindi rin naman assurance yun. Minsan swetihan lang talaga eh.

Question mga sis, alam nyo ba kung anong dapat isagot dun sa Previous Work? Na-fill up an ko na yung Present Work so ok na ko dun, tapos may Previous Work pa pala. Ang sabi dun sa Previous Work page, "Provide your employment information for the last five years that you were employed, if applicable." Then ang question: Were you previously employed? Yes or No? Pag sinagot kong Yes may kailangang i-fill up na Employer name, etc tapos may Employment Date na from and to. What if yung current work ko e yun yung work ko for more than 5 years na? Ano kayang dapat isagot dun sa "Were you previously employed" na yun? I'm confused. Thanks in advance!

Sa mga nakita ko ang sabi need daw ng proof of family ties, proof of income. Pano yun wala akong proof of income kundi yung mga payslips ko lang at account statement ng payroll account ko? Help.

you can ask your company for Certificate of Employment indicating length of service & compensation. Work is one of your ties here in the Philippines.

Hi mga Sis, would like to ask what is more chances to have a US visa, kasama si baby ko or ako na lang muna? may baby is 9months old na.. I also have immediate relatives in US..

^ i think mas ok kung ikaw muna sis para ang reason mo is you need to be back den cause of your baby.. kaya mainly for travel purposes lang.. siguro after 5 years apply muna si baby para pwede mo siya mapasyal kamo sa Disneyland.. kasi kung 9months pa hindi niya pa ma-eenjoy mag travel...

hello sis, yung dad ko kasi 20+ years na sya dun sa hospital nagwwork. same lang yung work nya mula noon pa, kaya naguguluhan kami kung maglalagay pa sya dun sa page na Previous Work, sabi kasi provide employment info for the last five years. Naguguluhan pa kami lalo kasi may From & To na employment date, e 1980's pa sya nagwwork dun and til now yun pa rin yung work nya, e dun sa To na date e hanggang kahapon lang pwede, problema namin e yun naman work nya ever since. wah i'm so lost!

mga sis help naman. i have a few questions 

my mom is married to a US citizen (actually nag dual citizen na si papa para di na nya need umuwi ng US every time) tapos she was previously issued a 5-yr multiple B2 visa, i think mga 2006 yun and once lang nya nagamit nun pumunta sila dun. now she wants to renew her visa - B2 pa rin, kasi papa is going to the US on April and she wants to go, too. hindi na sya covered ng VRP kasi matagal nang expired yun visa nya e so parang considered as a new application na yun ngayon di ba?

i was checking yun new application procedures tapos sabi dun need to get receipt sa site then pay USD160 sa BPI and specify yun receipt number. then within 4hrs after payment, kelangan magpaschedule na either thru phone or online. ok gets ko yan mga yan. then uunahin ko sana i-fill up ngayon yun DS-160 para bukas na lang yun bank payment so binasa ko yun FAQ nya kaso may sinasabi syang upload ng digital photo na? pano yun? noon kasi naalala ko papicture lang sa labas tapos print out mo lang yun form at ididikit dun.

pano na ba ngayon ang steps ng visa application?

^Sis, pa-picture siya sa magandang studio and sabihin mo ilagay sa CD (Kodak, Kamera World, Great Images). Minsan may konting dagdag lang tapos may CD ka na. Then ayun iuupload mo lang. Nga pala much better kung siya mag fill-up, how old na ba siya? Para alam nya yung mga nakalagay. Or pa-review mo na lang sa kanya yung application afterwards, pero importante kasi alam niya yung nakalagay, para tugma yung answers nya kapag ininterview siya.

pag nagpapic dun bale may print out tapos kasamang CD (additional cost) tama ba? pwede ko rin siguro padalhan ng USB. or much better samahan ko na lang. grabe, tagal ko nang di nagpapapic sa mga studio kaya wala na ko alam sa kalakaran ngayon hehe

57 na sya e. housewife lang and di naman marunong mag computer yun. yun dati nya ako lang din nag assist dun sa DS-160 tapos nidiscuss ko na lang sa kanya. ngayon nga nakita ko may requirement din na email address. buti na lang nagawan ko na si mama nun dati. nakupo mukhang magccrash course pa kami nito ngayon sa Intro to Computing haha! 

pano ba pagkakasunod sunod na gagawin ko? tama ba itong naiisip ko?
1. pa picture
2. fill up ng DS 160
3. kuha ng receipt and magbayad sa BPI
4. within 4hrs pagkabayad sa BPI, need magpaschedule online ng interview -- tama ba online pwede din? kasi pag thru phone e may bayad pa?
5. attend ng interview sa embassy based on the chosen schedule -- bawal magdala ng phone or other electronic gadget. need to bring other supporting docs (NSO marriage contract, land title, ano pa kaya kelangan iprepare?)

^ sis, yung payment kahit kelan mo pwede gawin. And ang pagpapa-sched ng interview, pwede na at least four hours AFTER payment, or even up to one year after payment. Basta naka-submit ka na din DS-160.

Pwede mo na din simulan ang pagfill up ng form kahit wala pa pic. Basta wag ka lang magsumbit muna ng form. Submit mo pag me na-upload ka na pic.

Re picture, dala na lang kayo ng usb. Most photo packages na pang-US visa e me kasamang digital copy. Kasama na sa bayad. Pag wala ka dala usb, bibili ka pa ng cd. Sa Fujifilm kami nagpa-pic sa Megamall.

Tips:

- if possible, kung kya ang morning sched interview (pra fresh pa mood hehe)
- at least 30mins before the interview makapasok na ng embassy
- dont bring electronics, perfumes, cellphone, camera and food (di ko lang alam for the baby's)
- prepare needed papers for proofs: old passport, bank certificates and bank book, land titles (if u have) , vehicle registration (if u have) , business proof ...
- ID picture for US Visa
- kung anung tanong, yun lang ang sagot (wag na mag elaborate)
- kung ano lang hinihinge ng consul na documents, yun lang ang ibbigay

** and always put a smiling face  natural lang kabahan pero we have to be alert and attentive... and never forget to pray for his guidance

^^ i think sis mas better if copy mismo ng bank transactions ng parents or father mo. kasi yung bank statement madali siya imanipulate and bilhin and its not really a reliable document. my officemate just printed her transaction details online (via bpiexpressonline) she got approved naman although hindi daw niya pinakita kasi di hiningi

Nagtataka ako. bakit ang schedule binigay sakin is 3 months away yung earliest interview? yung friend ko na nag schedule 1 week before me had only 1 month schedule from the time she filed her application. March sana pero wala. April as in sa last days na ng april yung earliest. kala ko makakasingit me sa march sched kasi i though 1 month lang makakakuha ka na sched

sis lakwatsa ...maganda sana sis kung meron, incase mag tanong ang consul kung how much money she have meron siyang mapapakita wala ba silang and/or na account sa dad mo?? ...pero kung mag pprepare pa lang naman, pwede na nila magawa ng paraan yun sa bank.. alanganin kasi kung sasabihin ni mother na yung mga taga andun ang sasagot ng expense, big no-no yun...

^^sis baka VRP siya kaya maaga nakakuha? ako rin VRP and ang earliest available sched eh less than 2 weeks, which I got naman.

@lakwatsa, btw, dont bring anything na di mo pwede iwan (wag magdadala ng original land titles kasi iiwan mo yun pag hiningi; pero alam ko may required na something pag titles (certified true copy? parang ganun yata haha)).

jazzlawyer, sis did you schedule the appointment via the call center? Try to do it yourself online so you can
view the open slots. Minsan kasi may mga last minute ng cacancel ng schedule nila, biglang may open
slot na.  Yung dad ko before nakuhaan ko siya ng earlier (as in 2 months earlier) than the original
appointment schedule.
