^ ang need lang dalhin e yung appointment letter, passport, confirmation letter & 2x2 photo. ballpen na rin siguro hehe. wala naman hinihingi na ibang document pag VRP.

Thanks sis. Ds160 confirmation at passports lang naman kinuha sakin. Nung prescreening lang ako tinanong. Single pa daw? Yes. Longest stay? Two weeks.

Sa ten printing, mabait yung guy lagi naka smile, wait 7 days na lang daw.

Kinakabahan ako. Mag isa lang kasi ako, ang dapat talaga kasabay ko siblings ko tapos mali pala nasched ko Hay.

^ sis ok lang yun kahit mag isa ka lang. madami akong kilala mag isa lang sila di nila kasama siblings or parent pero 10 years naman binigay. single, student, working, lahat sila 10 years ang nabigay

Mabilis lang pala talaga VRP, I arrived before 10:30, mali pa napilahan kong line, pinapila kasi ako ng guard dun sa "Non-Immigrant (Seafarers)". Haha, wala pa man din line sa Others. Mga 11:30 nag-prescreening na, I was second (1002). Natagalan lang maghintay for ten-printing, siguro 12:30 na nag-start, at sakto, kahit random siya, ako na naman una.

So I arrived before 10:30, and finished before 1:00. But I still should've brought a book. Di ko maalala ano ginawa ko para makalimot ng oras. Haha!

Mga sis, I have a question. I have a friend (guy) who was applied by his wife as spouse visa but their situation is kind of complicated. They married 2002 in the Philippines then the wife went to States as petitioned by her mom. Single status ang nilagay niya and she never declared that she got married in the Philippines. by 2008, nakuha niya yung green card niya. by 2010 or 2011 nagfile sila ng spouse visa for the guy and they even paid 11,500US$ for a lawyer. they are living separately for 10 years now and the wife only gets home after 2-3 yrs and dun nagawa yung 2 kids. The kids are using the wife's surname.
Do you think hindi makikitang fraud ito? does he have a chance na makarating ng US? how long will it take him to wait? what are the consequences if napatunayan nagsinungaling yung babae just to get a green card? sensya na po at madaming tanong.

^tingin ko sis. Malinaw na fraud yun. Kasi pag pinetition niya yun asawa niya kailangan niya magsubmit ng nso certified marriage certificate. And makikita dun yun date of wedding nila, which is una pa sa pagpunta niyang US. Allergic ang immigration sa ganyan. She might even risk her permanent residency. Better consult a good lawyer. Parang may napanuod lang ako sa show ni atty gurfinkle na similar situation sa kaniya. Baka pwede siya mabigyan ng pardon thru a good lawyer.

Thanks sis cherry*coke...nabanggit nung friend ko na guy na yung atty is naghahandle ng mga artista?? forgot the name. So worst comes to worst, madedeport yung wife? just curious because the guy has a woman here na buntis. I also had asked my other friends in the US and same ang sinabi nila. madeny yung guy ng spouse visa and if they really want to have the guy come to US, either waith n mag-18 yrs old yung oldest child para mapetition yung father or they can have their marriage annulled, then marry again which will take time again.

chick02, same situation as my cousin. Guy yung cousin ko left the country saying he is single although he is already married. Know what he did, he filed for fiance visa instead of spousal visa. Yung fiance/ matagal na niyang asawa hiningan ng embassy ng cenomar. Lol so ayun hindi na nila tinuloy ang petition kasi natakot sila. Visa nalang kulang sa petition nila ha, ng medicals na etc, doon sa interview kasi ayun hinanapan ng cenomar.

The US embassy is even smarter than we already think they are. So agree ako kay sis cherry coke, get a good lawyer, a very smart one at that. All the best sa friend mo.

hello mga sisses good am,  just wanna ask kung makaka affect ba sa embassy if you have sponsor na mag sho shoulder sa pag stay sa u.s at weeks ka lang naman magsstay duon,? what if self employed and hindi gaanong malaki ang saving sa bank nun mag aapply ng tourist visa any idea?

The following documents are not considered helpful: 

In general, affidavits of financial support will be of little value to an applicant (exception: a student visa application must have an affidavit of financial support). The affidavit of support is a requirement only for immigrant visas. The interviewing officer is less concerned about how the applicant will be supported during his/her stay in the United States than in whether s/he has reasons to return home.
Letters of invitation (except for business travel).
Purchase of airline ticket. This should not be made until a visa has been issued and the applicant is in receipt of the passport with the visa in it.

citruzcents, madami kasing factors na tinitingan ang embassy. Hindi lang sponsors at bank accounts. Number 1 is, you have to prove babalik sa Manila.

I have read and heard stories na 15k lang ang sweldo in a month pero na approve. Meron naman 5m++ ang money pero na deny. You will only know when you try.

^^ sis parang mahirap yan lalo na kung ikaw lang mag isa ang mag aapply, anung age muna sis??, kasi dapat maprove mo sakanila na malakas ang ties mo dito saten kaya nag tatanong sila kung magkano na ang savings usually sa interview, at kung anung work mo (yung tipong babalik at babalik ka talaga dito saten kasi hindi mo pwedeng mapabayaan ang work or business)... hindi mo pwdeng i-reason out na meron mag sshoulder ng expense mo, dapat as a tourist, iimply mo sa kanila ikaw ang gagastos

^ms.vain proof of strong ties? ano kaya mga pwede kong ipresent sa kanila na documents and sa work small time business lang ako at sa home lang, sa savings hindi din ganun kalaki ^ms purple 29 y.old ayun nga iniisip ko hindi naman talaga ako magtatagal talaga duon ang iniisip ko ayun nga how to convince them sa embassy ninenerbyos ako kaya hindi ko pa ma set yun date ng interview ko

Hi girls!

Ive been lurking this thread fir quite a few days now. I just want to ask if there is any of you who put an intended leave earlier than the scheduled interview?

I filled up kasi a form but i put End of march as intended leave. But the earliest slot in real time is april 25

Should re-do my application all over agian? I hope not.

I was praying for a february sched because i thought they could have slots for that.

Or should i wait until earlier slots are opened?

^you haven't submitted your application pa, right? best to edit your application at a later date just to be on the safe side.

^Sis, may parking area sa Museong Pambata, pero malayo-layong lakaran. I suggest mag-park ka sa tapat (sa may Coffee Bean/Asia United Bank), fixed naman yata parking doon. Para mas maiksi ang lakaran (IMO, hehe. Or baka same lang? Mas gusto ko yung parking sa kabila since sa Museong Pambata sobrang haba tapos puro construction ng Embassy...)

I got renewed pala! Whew. Ang bilis sobra ng VRP!

On January 11 I was allowed to set an appointment na sa Embassy. The earliest schedule then (since VRP nga ako) was for January 22 12PM.

On Jan 22, I arrived there at 10:30, finished by 12:30 (I was first kasi sa ten-printing). My passports were delivered Jan 25 before lunch time. I got a text that afternoon that my passports were being delivered, so I called home as soon as I read it, pero andun na daw. When I got home, I checked my passport and there was a visa. Yehey!

BTW, I'm single, in my early 20s, contracted by the state university, applied ALONE (but I indicated that I was traveling with my whole family, there are 7 of us)---and I still got approved.

Its already submitted because i cant proceed to schedule of appointment and will not know that april is the earliest day for interview if i dont have my confirmation number which can be secured only upon completion and submission of the application.

Just got my visa renewed via VRP. I parked across the embassy - parang service road. May bank and restaurant don. Paid 50bucks. May nag-a-assist naman to cross the street. Got there 11:10am. I was number 19. I finished 12:50pm.

I brought everything kasi i never got to use my visa(10yr) tapos sa maiden name ko pa naka-issue. Pero when i was ten-printed, i was only asked my full name and birthday.

I had my appointment on a friday, yung wednesday, my visa/passport arrived na.

Super organized sila don and very strict.

^^ i think it's still ok. the dates you indicated in the application form is tentative lang naman. if asked, you can always reason out na nabago yun plans ninyo.

Hello, my bf wants me to apply for a tourist visa kasi mga November pa sya makakauwi dito. Wala akong savings account pero nagwowork ako sa company namen for 2 years now as a supervisor. I'm 26 y/o. Bago lang kasi sakin to eh, so I am clueless kaya nagreresearch ako. Sa mga nakita ko ang sabi need daw ng proof of family ties, proof of income. Pano yun wala akong proof of income kundi yung mga payslips ko lang at account statement ng payroll account ko? Help.
