College in late 20s or older

Me, 26 ata ako nun nagenroll ako ng additional units.

It was hard kasi i was also working, Mababait naman ang mga prof lalo kapag alam nilang working ka na. Re classmates, most of them "immature" as in maiingay, papansin, pero di ko naman sila pinapansin. Nakikitawa lang ako. After class alis na ako. Never ako tumambay sa school. Matanda na ako eh, mag-mall na lang ako.

Syempre mga bata pa sila so ang girls, pa-cute sa boys, panay ang makeup, salamin, suklay - very concious sa looks nila. Ang boys rowdy and makukulit. Ginagawa ko inuutusan ko sila. Psstt. bili ka ng __. (lol)

i think hindi naman big deal sa mga college students na makakita ng mas matanda na kaklase nila. may mga naging classmate ako na 45 above pero ok naman.

Underload ako every sem as I have a business to attend to. Yung schedule ko, compressed sa kalahati ng araw, either morning or late afternoon.

Classmates, okay lang naman pero siempre di na ako sumasama sa night out. Tambay konti after class, yosi, konting chismis. Masaya naman.

Ang ayoko nga nun ay yung binabarkada ako ng mga kapwa matanda na alam kong delayed dahil delinquent sa studies. Nasstereotype ako na delinquent. Modesty aside, I perform well in my classes. madalas lang umabsent dahil sa work.

I tell my profs sa start pa lang ng classes of my limitations. Okay naman almost all of my profs (except one catholic fundamentalist who practically told me na mag-anak na lang ako dahil may asawa na ako. WTF right?)

Kahit absent ako, I make sure I catch up withnthe assigned readings and participate in class discussions.

Ang CON, nakakapagod talaga. Drained na ako by the end of the day. Az in.

I know someone. medyo na-late sya ng 2 years kasi when he transferred from other school (4th year) in highschool hindi na-credit yung 3rd year niya so ulit sya ng 3rd year.
tapos in college, nag-transfer din sya kaso di ulit na-credit so ulit ulit ng 1 year.

pero it turned out great kasi right now graduating na sya and well respected sya sa klase, his classmates look up to him. parang sya yung tumatayong leader though president talaga sya ng class haahah

I wanna go back to school pero I'm 31 na. Ang kinakatakot ko yong di ko na masabayan yong klase dahil nakalimutan ko na lahat

^it is never too late to re-invent yourself.  Go for it, with optimism & sipag -- everything will fall in place.
You have somethings important your younger classmates may not have yet:  maturity & experience.

^^it's okay sis. go for it. if you don't feel like going back to traditional schooling, there's a lot of options naman na ngayon, you can do home schooling, online courses, etc.

Im a second courser, i took my second course at the age of 25.. I had classmates also who are "oldies" thats what they call us kasi some second coursers also while some just stopped, had families and decided to study again.. For me, had no probs whatsoever.. Medyo marami lang responsibilities bec kami lagi ang leaders sa grp, reporting, etc.. In short, kaming mga oldies lang lagi nagdedebate sa harapan, class officers, representatives ng section..Kinda tiring but happy naman..
