We're doing the 12 Days of Christmas again this year.

sis DV, how did you introduce the concept of 12 days to your child? and how old was she when you introduced it?

my daughter is 2 years old and i dont know how to explain it to her.

^We started last year lang, when my child was 3. Back then I didn't really explain it to her, we just gave her small gifts for 12 days leading to Christmas Day. Now that my child is 4, she understands the concept of Christmas na, that we're celebrating Jesus' birthday (actually sabi nya, we should give Jesus a gift! When I asked her what she thought He would like, she said, a cake! So we'll probably bake a cake on Christmas Day.) Yung 12 days, anticipation of the Big Day. I guess don't worry about making your 2 year old understand pa. But it's nice to have a family tradition.

i didnt really thinking about which gift to give for each of the 12 days. di ko kasi naisip na i have to start today. haha. will see if kaya ko pa ihabol tonight.
