How many loads do you do in a week?

I'm planning weekly washing for 4 people, iniisip ko (1) delicate clothes (2) whites (3) coloured and jeans (4) towels and linens

Ilan kg capacity kaya need ko?

Pag gym clothes naman - ok lang ba ibabad sa water muna at Hindi agad malabhan and wash them 2-3 times a week?

^yung colored, I further segregate them depending on the color (i.e. I don't mix yellows with reds cause of possible color transfer). And I don't entrust this with the maids. One time, she mixed a light blue shirt with a dark blue one (pareho namang daw blue) and ended up ruining my son's shirt. With 3 kids, my clothes and my husband's (he goes to the gym almost everyday), minimum 20 loads kami per week. We have a 9kg washer

For gym clothes, we soak them in Lysol concentrate for a few hours before putting them in washing machine (we use laundry mesh)

I just bought 9kg washing machine. Concern ko naman now is sampayan. (Limited space) The washer/dryer in 1 kasi sabi di daw 100% natutuyo ang damit. So better to have a separate dryer.

So now I'm thinking if you're saying 20 loads, I'm thinking also di kaya 20 loads in one day at di naman lahat masasampay,

^if what you have is a heat dryer then there's no need mag-sampay. We have a separate heat dryer (which I think is a must if you live in a condo). From the dryer, we can immediately fold the clothes

Torn ako between LG 10kg for 21k at itong samsung na to. Meron ba sa inyo naka try na nito? Sale din ang front load samsung 6kg nsa 25k lang before its 30K++   Ang hirap mag decide 😹

I recently purchased Samsung na active dual wash 9kg,  Isang beses ko pa lang sya nagagamit pero okay naman ang experience ko sa kanya.  First time ko mag automatic na WM ang gastos pala sa tubig bilang makunat ako sinalo ko yung na drain na water ginamit ko pambuhos sa CR.  Plan ko maglaba ulit sa Friday pinag iisipan ko ano magandang diskarte sa paglaba para makatipid ako sa konsumo sa tubig.

^ if you have time to do that, you could have opted for the non automatic one, much cheaper.  Kaya automatic is for the less hassle and wet-free laundry area.

Another way to address the water consumption is to take the front loader one, less water consumption sila and choose the ones na may rating water consumption din kasi among the front loaders, may comparison parin.

^agree with front loaders, di kasi need punuuin ng water unlike sa top loaders. before we have top loaders pero binenta din namin kasi magastos nga sa tubig and kuryente.

itong lilipatan kasi namin is walang laundry area, bali sampayan lang sa rooftop ang meron.
plano po namin yung twintub whirlpool LWT800. kinonsider ko rin yung topload LG na inverter model pero naisip ko since once a week lang namin gagamitin baka hindi rin maramdaman yung tipid sa kuryente.

At saka san po nakakabili ng drain hose? malayo po kasi ang distance sa cr, or lababo nung plano namin paglagyan. (or baka bubuhatin nalang namin yung machine para mailapit siya kapag gagamitin na?)

uhmmm.. front loaders are too heavy sis, can't remember top loaders though.. take into consideration din yung drain hose ng front loaders dapat naka level sya, unlike sa top loaders same lang ng normal WM..

May nakita akong model unit ng condo one time, nasa CR yung washing machine.

Di ko ma imagine weekly nyo bubuhatin, assuming one load lang. Kasi most likely if kaya buhatin, maliit sya and light weight - try the Japanese brands. Problem lang, you might need to load several times if di magkasya ang weekly laundry nyo.

Recently lang ako nagl-laundry and I realised di kaya ng 1 load ng 9kg washing machine ang family of 4. At the least 4 -6 loads. I was hoping of 2-3 loads Lang - 1 whites, 1 coloured and another one for soiled. 9kg is one of the bigger pa nga but di ko makaya 2 loads/wk. kasi yung ibang nakita ko before is nasa 6kg Lang. The reason din why I bought 9kg para we can wash comforters nang di need ipa laundry sa labas.

The other constraint you would also have is the sampayan. You cannot wash your laundry once a week if space sampayan is not enough. So lalabas 2x a week at the least laba days.

Ako din sis same reason bakit 9 kg kinuha ko, para makapag laba ng comforters.  Pero hindi ko pa na try.  Okay naman ba, kaya?

7kg washing machine namin. Dapat yun mas malaki. Halos every three days nagsasalang kaming damit dahil hindi kasiya pag isang linggo naiipon un mga damit.
