hello sa lahat..

baka may masasuggest po kayo na automatic washer & dryer. sana po:

- around Php10k or less
- gentle on baby's clothes but powerful enough to wash beddings. mga manipis lang naman na kumot at kurtinta kasi wala naman kaming A/C
- matibay at di madaling masira
- merong reliable service center
- di masyadong malakas sa kuryente

i'm giving birth next month kasi so baka mahirapan si bf sa laundry pag sya lang at mano mano. so mostly na isasalang gamit lang namin 3 - me, bf at baby.

^i don't mean to make you feel upset with your purchase. if it serves the purpose for you, then it is a good buy regardless if it takes years to recover the cost. hopefully it will last 10 years.

All of the tangible things you purchased except land and jewelry depreciate in time. Ni hindi mo nga na compute nor considered man lang ang depreciation value e so do you think tama ang computation ng costing mo? I can teach you cost/managerial accounting para himayin talaga natin from your historical value to the net present value. Either ibenta mo ng patubo or mag open ka ng laundry shop just so mabawi mo capital mo if ang problem mo is recovery of your purchase cost. kaya don't feel so smart-alecky.

FYI din pala, my old electrolux front load washer and dryer were bought in 2007 and walang diprensya till now pero don't you think hindi ito fully depreciated? may scrap value pa nga ito e. so don't you think when I say fully depreciated hindi nabawi ang purchase cost? Or do I need to clarify what is the reference/computation for scrap value?

^^ Samsung wobble technology. Around 13k.  Sa SM appliance namin binili. 12 months 0% interest under BDO. 

We were also offered extended warranty pero hindi ko na tinanggap kasi nadala na ako dyan.  We bought GE ref 3-4 years ago sa SM din with extended warranty. Pinilit ng mom ko gusto nya GE, ako naman sabi ko Samsung na lang.  Ayun, may factory defect yun nakuha namin, after a few days lang we called agad for replacement, ayaw.  Repair service lang daw, with charges pa.   Di kami pumayag kasi nga wala pa 7 days.  Ang daming discussion, pero wala rin nangyari.  (off-topic na ata ito...)

I believe in Samsung brand.  If the brand's technology is really good, no need for extended warranty.  Hindi agad masisira yan with normal use. 

Pinagpilian namin Samsung and Whirpool.  Mas bago kasi yun wobble technology kaya yun pinili namin.

hi, sorry, i'm new here. I was planning to get also the samsung wm, yung 12k na inverter nila ngayon, meron na ba dito na nakagamit nun? nag dadalawang isip ako sa "wobble Technology" kasi parang na- neu-neutralize nya kasi ang flow ng water, paano makakalinis yun?

sorry, 12kg yung capacity ng wm, which, i think, retails 24k++. too bad the pulsator is only plastic.

I bought sharp automatic wm and almost 1 year na. Working good oa rin naman, never pa napa-repair. Gamit na gamit 'cause we are 4 in the family: me, hubby, pre-teen son and a 2-yr old toddler. I will be giving birth pa this month, so kapag baby clothes, definitely, madami daming labahan din 'yun.

BTW, OT ata ito, but how do you sort the laundry for wm? Sinasama niyo na ba yung white/lght, colored, dark, etc? Haha. I am not newbie sa paglalaba but baka may mali sa ginagawa ko eh. Lol. Thanks.

We sort by color and type.
Color as in light then separate yung medium then separate again yung dark.
Type as in clothes together, then towels together, bed sheets, etc

If I would love an appliance in the house, it would be our automatic washing machine.  Super convenient na kahit pagod ako from work, i will just set it up with the laundry and make it work.  I usually take a nap while it is working and will hang clothes once done.  Hindi na sumasakit kamay ko unlike before with our usual washing machine, nabababad sa water kamay ko and tired at the same time sa kaka-computer ko sa office.

^^Thanks sis J.adore. Challenging din sakin mga collars ng uniform ng eldest ko. Hindi kaya ng washer eh. Need pa ibrush. Or is there a specific washer and detergent that you have tried na kaya linisin iyon or do you manually brush din talaga spots like that?

Meron bang maliit na washing machine as in pang underwear? Di kasi kasya sa unit namin ang automatic washing machine So at the very least, we'll wash intimate wear then the rest ay palaundry na.

^ haha thanks. Tama ka trusty old kula will definitely do. Nothing beats the power of sunlight sa pagtanggal ng stains.

Small wm, wala pa ko nakikita sa mga malls. Before, may nabrowse ako, some 2 years ago pa ata, na compact/portable washer pero doubtful ang quality. Mukhang di tatagal eh.

^^ Gaano kaliit sis yung space that you can spare?  Meron kasi akong nakita dati sa mall, maliit lang na washing machine, siguro mga 1.5 or 2 times ng laki ng regular rice dispenser, local na brand siya, nakalimutan ko lang kung ano.  I have no idea though kung powerful enough yung motor niya to really clean clothes.

Sa US may compact washing machine na kasing laki lang ng cooler, nakita namin ng friend ko sa isang video a couple of years ago.  I don't think available siya sa Philippines though.

Ang ginagawa ng iba, they use yung vegetable/salad spinner to wash their delicates.  Might be worth a try if wala kayong mahanap na washing machine small enough.  That, or hand wash na lang.  Nakakapagod nga lang.

Bumili kami before ng washing machine sa Duty Free Pasay and mas mura nga dun compared sa mall prices.  But this was years ago pa, so ewan ko na lang if ganun pa rin ngayon.  Nung time na bumili kami e karamihan ng models dun were from Whirlpool.  Ask mo na lang sis yung mom mo or someone else na magcheck sa malls or appliance shops for models and prices before pumunta kayo ng Duty Free para sure.

Nagdadalawang isip kase ako buy sa duty free dahil dami ko na compare na prices like se pabango mas mura pa sa shop.

No prob sis   Sakto ang daming sale pa naman sunud-sunod sa malls lately.  Try mo na rin abangan kung kailan yung warehouse sales ng mga appliance manufacturers, baka sakali may magandang deal kayo makuha dun.  Not sure lang kung nagdedeliver sila or kung ikaw dapat ang may dalang sasakyan to take the item home.

Yes nakakapagod kasi manual.. Wala nga dito sa Pinas ng mini machine tapos may problema pa sa ports/customs so di rin ok bumili abroad

Oo nga, mahirap sa customs, sakit sa ulo kausap.  I guess try mo na lang sis maghanap sa local appliance stores.  Meron akong nakita dati na a little bit bigger lang ng rice dispenser yung size.
