My mom and I went to the place of Ms. Gervy Santos in Tandang Sora last weekend.  I love her cake flavors and  fillings!  My favorites are the cappuccino and lemon cakes.  Her chocolate fudge is super yummy without being too sweet.  I think she's the only one who uses chocolate to ice the cake.  It looks like fondant but it's actually chocolate.  Amazing talaga!  After I discovered her delicious cakes at a birthday party last year, I planned to get her for my twins' 7th birthday.  She is the nicest lady too.  She didn't even want me to give a downpayment without finalizing the design, but I insisted because I do not intend to check out other suppliers.  We talked for more than an hour about cakes, weddings and birthdays.  She is so passionate about her craft.  I'm so excited about the cake.  It's going to be delicious and well-designed.

ordered a 2-layer fondant cake (14 and 10 inches) from my suking supplier for my daughter's bday next month..flavors are chocolate and vanilla, with fillings, priced at 7k..this supplier is super ok, really nice and pulido gumawa ng fondant cakes kaya sa kanya talaga ako umoorder ever since i discovered her..recently, she ventured into desser buffet  naman so sa kanya na din ako kumuha instead of DIY dahil iwas ngarag na ako this time when i was still pregnant pa, i promised myself talaga na kukuha ako ng dessert buffet for baby's 1st bday kasi super ganda, pati styling/backdrop nya esp for baby girls hehe excited lang

we got Toy Cakes for my daughter's first bday last weekend. i was so disappointed with chef kiko! una sa lahat late sya. party time 2:30 pm but syempre filipino time officially start yun 3;15 pm. kung di ko pa sya itetext di sya magrereply a day before. tas sa mismong day, ni ha ni ho walang sabi nasan na sya. nag text si coordinator almost 3 pm wala pa ang cake. i called him at pasensya na raw malelate. grabe wala man lang pasabi. dumating cake lagpas 3:30 pm na, tapos pagkita ko, grabe, parang gawang elementary. sorry sa fans, or what not, pero super super disappointed ako. ang simple simple na nga lang ng pinapagawa ko . may pinapakopya ako sa kanya na sun sobrang pangit ng gawa nya tapos yung colors ng sun para inismudge na lipstick lang wala pa ako official photos from photog pero i will post it here pag meron na. di ko na sya naharap actually pinaabot ko na kasi kay party manager yung bayad dahil nag eentertain ako ng guests. tas inapproach lang ako ni party manager mags tart na program, walang candle yung cake! ok i have a friend na nag warn nga na siguraduhin na may candle. i remembered it a day or 2 before the event at nagmessage ako sa kanya sa fb asking kung may candle pero deadmabels ang chef kiko. so bilang girlscout bumili na lang din ako ng candle. ang siste, the actual day syempre naging busy ako di ko agad maalala saan ko tinago yung candle na binili ko. kinakabahan na ko, hinahanap ni party manager di nya makita. suggestion nya kuha na lang sa candle sa caterer yung pabilog tas gupitin na lang. nung ako na naghanap, ayun buti nakita ko candle.

di ko na sya tinext at di na rin sya nagbother magtext back after nya maideliver ang cake. should i let him know how bad his cake was? feeling ko aware sya at pag nakita nyo halatang minadali. as for the cake, banana walnut flavor. sakto lang, pero sa halang 4500 na all edible 2 layer not worth it talaga. late na nga , ang pangit pa.

hi Marose. Am interested sana in getting Gervys as well but am still waiting for her reply to my inquiry as well as my appointment request. I have so far been only able to talk to their helper whenever I tried to get in touch with her thru their landline number.  May I know what Gervy's price range is for her cakes & cupcakes, if you don't mind sharing?  Thanks

The price for Gervy's two-layered birthday cakes (iba ang price for wedding cakes) starts at P4,200 (bottom edible, 6, 9 x5).  The price will be adjusted if you add another edible layer, choose a bigger diameter (ex. 8, 10 x5) or opt for premium flavors like carrot, apple-walnut, etc.  You can tell her your budget and she will tell you what she can do without sacrificing the design and quality of the cake.
