Yummy ba ang cake ni sweet creations by baked republic? Last week she told me kasi that she will email me her rates. Naka 3 updates nko sa kanya until now wala man lang reply.. Wala rin email.. I don't if worth it ba na maghintay pa ako sa kanya or mag decide nko now. My baby's party is on march 10..

anyway, we were so impressed with what Teacher caKe made for our son's birthday. ayaw manood ng husband ko nung idi-disassemble na yung characters & layers.

also, i recently ordered a cake from Baby bear's secret bakeshop for my daughter's birthday.

masarap siya, and nagustuhan ko kahit fondant, even yung daughter ko, she liked it.hindi masyadong matamis and ang sarap ng pinaka cake mismo, sulit and siksik, and hassle free kausap si charlene:)

nahihirapan ako mag decide. my nephew will celebrate his bday at shakeys. syempre, iko's ang accredited. im ok naman with them kasi gusto ko taste ng cupcakes and moist choco cake nila, plus my family is not a big fan of fondant... BUT what i dont like with iko's is their designs based on what i've read and seen online. hindi sya pang kodak moment.

so now im looking for a small fondant cake na pang photo op. i want it pulido but mura lang kasi nga di mahilig family ko sa fondant.

isip ko naman, if order ako ng marshmallow icing from good bakers, baka naman humulas kasi summer ang bday.

^^ Yung fondant cake ni Gel Colet (Swell Sweets), mura lang, Php1,200 or thereabouts ang 8 inch round cake.   Pang-Kodak moment, check mo na lang her portfolio at her Facebook page.

I like the taste too, yung choco cake niya mas masarap habang tumatagal.  Yung fondant icing hindi nakakaumay.

^ si Swell Sweets at Teacher caKe ang pinagpilian ko e. kaso hindi sya nagdedeliver at minsan, mukhang hindi normal yung 3D characters nya. pero mura nga sya. siguro pag wala masyadong characters yung ipapagawa kong cake, sya kunin ko.

stormy, tingin ko kasi di kasi gano photogenic. hehe... mejo madami akong negative reviews na nakikita kaya im lowering my expectations.

marose, alam mo ba my family didnt like cupcakes i ordered from gel. di kasi sophisticated at cultured mga tastebuds nila. hehe... the only fondant cake they appreciated was by heny sison. nyek.

mlim, tignan mo din mga cakes ng a cupcake wish, anna banana, and nothing but c    for inspiration. nice mga cakes nila. but i havent tried them yet. hehe

mga sis, meron ba kayong masusuggest na supplier ng cake (preferably fondant) sa bulacan? para sana sa binyag ni baby..

^ if it's not a character cake, I highly recommend Jen of pastry chef. She's from bulacan lang. Ok siya gumawa, maayos kausap, masarap ang cakes and pastries niya and mura pa

I'm down to 2 choices na lang for my cake supplier. Choosing between ganda and lasa
hahaha!

By the way mga sis, medyo OT but this is what I got for delivery charges from 2 cake suppliers,
500 - from san Juan to mall of Asia
850 - from bulacan to mall of Asia

Ano mas katanggap tanggap diyan? Hehe. Kakaloka diba. Hindi na ba uso free delivery ngayon? Haha. Mabuti pa aristocrat bakeshop, free delivery!
