^classic confections sis pwede mo pa matikman muna mga cookies kasi mayroon sa store nila (gb5 and kapitolyo). Sa 5th bday ng anak ko nun 2011 sila kinuha ko rin sa cupcakes.

naiinggit naman ako sa mga manila-based sisses dito.  mura lang mga fondant cakes at ang daming choices.  kasi sa cebu, di pa siguro ganun ka-mature ang market for fondant cakes.  ang 2-layer, 10", 6", nasa 4K+ na, di pa yun ganun kapulido and only 1 layer is edible. wala din mga online forums that have suppliers' feedbacks like gt.

@stormy - nagwawala na naman sa fb si cake supplier nung isang araw. Sino ba kasi yung pending pa daw ang status ng order? hehe

^hindi kasi ako maalam sis sa FB so I asked a friend na icopy paste na lang and send it to me. I hope she will improve her attitude or kung d kaya na d magaspang ang ugali huwag na siguro ipost sa FB.

I hope also hindi GT mom ang pinaparinggan nya na plano na nya maningil ng non-refundable fee (just for inquiring ba yun fee n yun? Kasi hindi pa naman nagko-commit yata sa date)

Anyway, may nakita ako na strawberry shortcake theme made by aggy's. Ang ganda. Hindi ko lang alam if masarap at kung magkano yun. Ang colorful tapos pulido ang gawa (from where I was seated ha).

^ ako rin, sabi pa nga iaaccommodate nya ako for feb 2... nang wala syang sinasabing mag-full payment ako. hehe. huling message ko pa naman sa kanya, sige, finalize ko muna yung design before ko pa-quote sa kanya. yun lang.

hehe, ako ok na kasi nga walang pakulo. ok na rin cake ko. dali, decide on the cake na!

Hello. I would like to ask if nakausap nyo na po si ms emily uy of sugarbox. been inquiring with her, and we already tlalked. she said that my requested cake will be possible with the date and she will email me na lang daw. but until now wala pa din email? i dont know kung me contract or statement na bibigay. i know, baka super busy sya, but it's been 2 weeks i think na, di daw nya makita email ko, pero niresend ko ulit. should i look for another supplier? ty.

She made me 3 cakes already, 2 for my son and 1 for my nephew. For me, she's okay. She does very well. But I cannot comment on what you are telling about her because you guys have points.

What it surprised me the most, the last 2 cakes she made for my son's was way way cheaper that her recent pricing. it was just less than a year that she increased twice the old price.

Sis, would you mind pm-ing me her qoutations to you. i would just like to compare and know. Thanks sis.

if i were in your shoes, yes. definitely. i look for suppliers para mawala na stress ko. negligence can stress me more. nakakabadtrip din yung mga supplier na pa importante. it is either they post when they will answer queries rather than parang ewan na lulubog lilitaw. for me kasi if they werent entertaining you the way a professional should, maybe youre not that important to them. so just leave.

@Princess in bloom, alam mo sis simula 2005 hanggang 2010 si emily uy ng sugarbox gumagawa ng cakes sa mga okasyon namin. Ok sya, mabait at magaling. Ayun nga lang minsan hindi rin maiwasan na kailangan natin magdecide na d tayo nai-stress (ako kasi health ang rason kaya bawal ang stress) so yun post mo nae-experience ko lagi dati pati yun naexperience ni princess lorraine.

Tawagan mo sya sis baka maiayos pa maisalba pa yun transaction nyo (if talagang sya gusto mo na gumawa ng cake). If d naman non-negotiable ang cake supplier, then mas ok na maghanap rin ng ibang options.


@bananapots, sya gumawa ng cake ng daughter ko last year. Mabait sya at accomodating pero hindi naging ok yun cake ng daughter ko. I just hope maging positive sya lalo na towards her clients at potential clients na rin

Anyway, true yun sabi ng isang sis above my post na ang hirap pag tayo pa maghabol sa supplier kasi dapat ang problema lang natin availability nila sa date na kailangan natin sila at pambayad

Hi, nice to be back! Can u recommend a cake supplier na not just magaling but also masarap gumawa ng cake? I dont like fondant cake. Simple design lang and can deliver to Manila area. One more thing, hindi masyadong mahal maningil
