you can flirt in a way na hindi bastusin tignan, kase most of the guys pag nakita nilang mukhang masungit or snob yung girl (nakasibangot, taas kilay, sama tumingin etc). nawawalan sila ng confidence to initiate the conversation. unlike those girls na mukhang friendly. in other words, sa aura niyo pa lang alam na namin kung mag fe failed kami or not if we are going to approach you.

^^ I agree with Chinito - though I am not a guy - but I have always been around guys because of the nature of my job. Mula nang nag-aaral pa ako hanggang sa nagtatrabaho ako, puro guys na ang nasa paligid ko.

Generally, ang mga guys di rin talaga after sa malandi. Di rin naman sila sa mga snobbish. Di naman kasi uso ngayon ang sobrang nagpapa-hard to get di tulad ng panahon ng mga lola natin - sa ngayon it's always mistaken na hindi interested ang girl at madaling mag-give up ngayon ang guys. Guys prefer pa rin na yung girl of interest nila, "hard to get" pa rin, pero hindi lang sobra-sobra. Girls should drop hints that they are interested - if they are. Pero wag lang lumandi.

Guys want the thrill of the chase, ika nga... especially during the courtship stage.

This is what my guy friend said also. He prefers a girl who would sort of meet him partway (which sa atin can be misconstrued as malandi agad; pwede namang friendly lang di ba  in the courting game.

Kaya siguro minsan talo ng "malandi" ang maganda. Maganda ka nga pero unresponsive sa da moves nya...some guys would just not see it as worth the effort at marami dyan ang madaling mag-give up, pwera na lang siguro kung ikaw si jessica alba or something. (Yes, kung naging guy ako, hindi ko tatatntanan si jessica alba, sya ang exception ko to the rule. LOL)

Just be approachable (not masungit) or generic friendly  -- not over friendly, not trying-hard friendly.
No need to be malandi --  it can give out more wrong signals than otherwise.

Oo, the type  malandi, for the short-term or quick connect -- tapos, at the back  of his mind, judging you na negatively.  Unfair? Well, what is in this world fair  anyway, but the equal opportunity to be unequal.
