Agoda or Asiatravel? Which websites do you go to for hotel booking

I experienced a price increase nga when we waited some more before we booked our hotel.  It would really be better to book earlier if sure ka narin naman sa flight mo.

Last year booked a hotel in agoda, ok naman walang hassle upon check in lahat smooth.

This year should be booking via agoda again kaso no rooms available na for the hotel na gusto namin, when we checked Asiatravel meron pa silang room available sa selected dates namin so dun kami nag book ok din we also booked our transportation transfer via asiatravel smooth lahat..

I booked via asiatravel once and everything went well naman. Will try booking via agoda next time.

i always book thru agoda..always smooth ang pag check-in whether local or abroad.
un asiatravel kaya hindi ko pa na try kase parang tatawag pa ko sa callcenter. i cant recall but that was my first encounter. wala kase kame landline kaya hindi ko na tinuloy

First time to try Agoda ngayon. I compared the rates with the hotel and agoda and even airasiago, I opted na rin sa Agoda kasi nga peak days yong booking ko tapos me free cancellation siya and pay later pa.  My booking is July 18 so I can cancel on or before July 15 and my payment will only be done ng July 15.  Which for me is good option.

Hi mga sis, for Agoda bookers, has anyone experienced to cancel and request for refund or credit card reversal? How long does it take for them to process?
I forgot to tick the "pay-later" option, so it was charged to my CC.. I immediately called their customer service, then they said that they will cancel without fee (great news) but the reversal of credit will be in 10 working days... I also called my CC bank to inform them and to ask to hold the transaction but they said that only agoda could do the cancellation/reversal, and that agoda should make the cancellation prior to my billing cut-off because once billed, any reversal of credit will undergo further investigation for 30 days

^ Hi sis, walag problema sa cancellation nung kinancel ko yung reservation namin, less than a week lang binalik na ang pera sa CC ko. Sa online ko lang kinancel yun.

Booked recently with Agoda. Mas ok choices nila and cheaper compared to hotels.com.

Pinaka OK is that they offer the pay later option and free cancellation.

Kapag sinabi na Nothing To Pay Until May 6, so sa May 6 pa ako ma charge sa credit card ko? Pero yung credit limit ko ba mababawasan na as soon as mag book ako?

I always use agoda pero may times din na asiatravel. Konti lang difference pero depende talaga kung ano yung cheapest at kung anong kasamang deal. (breakfast, free cancellation, credit card disocunt,etc.)

Pero the best ang customer service ng agoda. Ilang beses na ako nagpacancel & rebook sa kanila at sobrang dali lang.

Kami most of the time we book thru Agoda kapag sure na talaga kami sa napili naming hotel. Madalas rin kase may promo yung credit card ko na discounted yung rates if mag book thru Agoda. One more thing is meron silang rewards / points na natry na rin naming gamitin before.

I wasn't aware that agoda has a points or rewards system.  I've always been booking through agoda for years except for rare times when they don't have available rooms anymore and expedia or hotels still has some (those are my alternates). 

I was mock-booking yesterday, and I saw that I can use my points with money equivalent.  Sobra ako na-excite when I saw that I've accumulated so much points already, pwede nako maka-libre ng 2 nights stay at a decent hotel in bora.. or  I tried mock booking Friday's at bora and after using all my points, I'll only have to pay 5k for 2 nights.

It was a first try booking at Agoda for my parents. They were required to pay 2k deposit for 2 nights stay?

i've also tried both asiatravel and agoda and had no problems so far. Basta I check kung alin ang mas mura. Question lang sa mga gumagamit ng Asiatravel, haven't tried kase booking a room na "on request" yung color yellow. Has anyone tried magbook ng ganon? gano katagal malalaman kung confirm na yung reservation? TIA
