you have to tell me your preferences para maka recommend lang ako ng mga hotels sis. tsaka depende rin yon sa budget mo kasi.

Ive always used Agoda for hotel bookings but I make sure to search google first for other pictures of the hotel that Im checking out kasi sometimes sobrang ganda nung photos na pinopost nila sa agoda and their websites then pagdating mo sa hotel, nakakadisappoint. Hehe. Search google for other photos of the hotel, mostly mga bloggers ang nagppost ng photos from their vacations so straight from camera yun photos, hindi inedit and pinaganda hehe

mga sis sa asiatravel ba they allow cancellation? kasi si agoda they have free cancellation if you withdraw your booking at a certain period.

^sa Agoda madali lang malaman. kasi nakalagay "Breakfast Included" pag meron, pag walang ganun automatic na na wala.

I booked our stay at Thunderbird Hotel through asia travel and this time, I was able to pay using my card through a secure site instead of sending photocopies of the f/b of my card.

^pwede naman if you want to add breakfast, but you'll just pay for that directly pag nag-check in ka. hindi mo yan idadaan sa Agoda/Asiatravel

The rates kase are pre-booked by travel agencies eh. So sometimes the rates given to them are very low pero yun nga lang minsan hinde included yung breakfast. Pero just like what our other sis said, you can still get the breakfast naman which you can pay at the hotel na.

i use both...i have to check first the prices for the two..minsan mataas ang asiatravel of fully book sa kanila...minsan agoda naman ang mataas..both ok!

i had a bad experience with booking.com 3 years ago, in new york, of all places, where hotel prices are sky high! when i got to the hotel, they did not have a copy of my reservation -- nada, zero, zilch. booking.com did not forward my reservation to them daw, so it was not in their system. peak period pa naman din! 

buti na lang a guest checked out earlier than expected, so they were able to give me a room at the booking.com rate i booked. maybe my experience was the exception rather than the rule, but after that, i never used booking.com ever again.

sis m_lim is right, you have to check the hotel's website too because sometimes direct booking is cheaper.  actually, i try to stick with direct bookings as much as possible, because that way i'm assured my reservation is in their system. but if significantly more expensive, and lalo na for independently owned properties na walang hotel points, i usually go for agoda.

^ not necessarily. You have to check the booking conditions. Or confirm with the hotel directly.
