booked a trip to Ho Chi Minh via CebuPac's piso sale. Php 3400 ata round trip, pwede na rin Now time to back read. Super excited to go food tripping here, I heard masarap talaga ang food sa Vietnam.

^ food is good, but their coffee is the best. Hay, I miss Vietnam.. gusto ko rin bumalik but next time sa Hanoi sana

Siguro the best ang mga pho/mien/chao long sa mga kainan sa tabi-tabi na mababa ang upuan at mesa... Kasi kahit mga uber sexy na girls dun wa poise sila pag nakain dun. Haha! Pero happy na ko with Pho 24, Nha Hang Ngon, Paris Baguette and Wrap and Roll. And yes, miss ko na drip coffee nila... Buti umuwi yung isang kasama namin.

Another notable food din dun is yung banana at jackfruit chips nila... Crunchy on the outside, tas pag nginunguya mo na nagiging chewy sya... Tsaka ang yogurt nila! Plus mahilig din ako sa crystals  -- may mga stores din sa Saigon Tax where we can buy those... Gooosh I miss VN already.

- Ohhhh sya ba yung dun sa gitna sa ground floor malapit dun sa mini-temple? (Si Hien lang sa 2nd floor yung natatandaan ko -- sorry I'm bad with names @_@) Kung di lang sa baggage limit ko andami ko na siguro nabili. LOLS.

masarap din sa An Khueh Quan at sa Cuc Ghac Quan. Medyo high end yung latter tapos hole-in-the-wall naman yung former. yung pho naman sa pho 2000 kami kumain -- masarap yung soup pero ang tigas nung beef. yung banh mi may pinagdalhan sa akin yung ninang ko na stall na dinudumog talaga at infairness ang sarap parang Subway lang! sa halagang 27000 vnd

sis for 2014 travel ba yan? kasi ako naka pag booked din ng sale this oct2013 pero nasa 4,800 with 20kls baggage pa balik ok na rin

mga officemate ko sarap na sarap din sa mga foods kahit sa loob ng ben than market kumain sila... ako love ko yung sa PHO 2000 tsaka yung sa may floating resto sobrang enjoy pati yung girl na nagpeperform ang galing at higit sa lahat ang mura lang talaga

Will be going to Vietnam (Saigon) on Sep 18-23. Technically, it's 4D/4N because of the flight times.  Still backreading here sa GT. So far, I want to do:

-Cu Chi Tunnels
-Mui Ne (Sand dunes)
-Da Nang (beach)
-Shopping/city tour/food trip

Kaya ba ng Thu am to Sun night lahat yan?  Any other spots to see?  Di ko pa alam paano ko ayusin yan :p

We're booked sa Nguyna Khang but suggestions are welcome.

Am considering overnight in Mui Ne if there's a decent place there. We're just 2 ladies and i want yung secure sana na lugar.  Anyone who stayed overnight there? Si Mr. Punch pa lang nabasa ko.

Also considering overnight in Da Nang.

Rainy na ba like here in Manila sa Saigon?

Am considering overnight in Mui Ne if there's a decent place there. We're just 2 ladies and i want yung secure sana na lugar.  Anyone who stayed overnight there? Si Mr. Punch pa lang nabasa ko.

Hi sis! ako, I had a solo overnight trip in Mui Ne last April. Highly recommended ko yung La Marina Hotel. The manager, Ms. Jade (Oanh Ngoc) is uber nice and accommodating. The best accommodation I had during my HCMC-SR-PP trip. I booked the room thru Agoda, during that time is naka 50% off sila. I paid around 19USD (roughly 800Php). The room is good for 2 na including free bfast.

yes it's rainy in Saigon. just arrived yesterday and toured SGN just for 1 day. good thing we have our umbrellas.. nun sobrang lakas ng ulan, buti we were having our lunch. tapos kahit naambon lumakad na din kami. sayang oras eh. putik putik nga lang legs ko habang namamasyal hehe.

For accommodation, I'm looking at Mui Ne Hills 1 and 2, Ever Green Guesthouse, and Mui Ne Backpackers pa lang. Will check La Marina Hotel. I hope there's a room on sale too.

What bus or mode of transpo did you take to/from Mui Ne, and what time? I'm considering an afternoon or night trip to Mui Ne but I'm not sure if it's safe. Will be travelling with a fellow female colleague.

^ I saw Mui Ne Backpackers kasi along main road lang ito (Nguyen Dinh Chieu St). That whole street is a strip of accommodations/restaurants/stores. Tabi tabi lang talaga.

For the bus trip, I asked Mr. Chanh of Bich Duyen to book/reserved me RT HCMC- Mui Ne from Sinh Tourist, 6USD each. You may check yung website ng Sinhtourist for the schedule of their daily trips HCMC - Mui Ne. I got the first trip for both routes. Di naman napupuno sis yung bus parang kahit di na pala ako nagpabook in advance oks lang. Drop off point will be their Sinh Tourist Office at Mui Ne (approx 5hrs travel w/ 1 stop over). Medyo malayo pa dito yung La Marina, mga 2kms pa. Nagtaxi na lang ako papunta sa hotel.
