10,000 of any currency, not really chinecheck but if you bring more than that there's a form na kailangan mo i-declare parang ganon.... Please define mura, murang branded ba o mala divi na items

As much as gusto kong magtanong ng magtanong, gusto ko muna tapusin ang back reading ko dahil baka andun ang mga answers. Eto lang yung mga urgent na tanong:
Saan ba yung PEX? Na mention kasi in several places dito sa forum, hindi ko pa rin na gets kung anong nire refer nila as PEX.

Hello Sissies, just want to know regarding mga electric plugs sa HK.  I've read article sa PEX that its different. Can you please shed some light on that? Do we really need to buy? Does hotel or hostels provide sockets for guests?  thanks in advance.

okay lang ba to go to hongkong via clark para mas mura ang airfare. pansin ko sa mga tour packages via tiger airways sa clark. mura nga compared to other airfare that will depart from manila.

Inquire with your hostel/hotel/inn if they provide free electric adapter or if they provide electric adapter for rent. You can also buy an adapter from any hardware here.

^sis msals2007 okay lang naman HK via clark, actually that's my initial plan but when i realized na mejo mapapamahal pa ko considering ang fare sa bus back & forth at ang schedule ng flight, it doesn't fit sa preferred schedules ko. Then i consider pa natin na ang point of location, yung san ka talaga manggaling. For me kzi taga south kmi..taga cavite. So NAIA terminal is just a45-1hr drive.  If sa clark, gas pa or bus fare.  So we decided to get a MNL-HK flight na lang..suma tutal ganun din. You dont need to travel long hours pa.  Hope this helps.

We'll be in hk dun on may! nakabook kame thru cebupac promo pero sa clark din. Its our first time to try clark airport. We're planning to bring a car kase we have a toddler hassle kung magbus pa kame. Saga nakatry na magiwan ng car, is it safe po ba? Thanks!

i tried usung cc before sa uniqlo last 2010 and safe naman.

may nabasa kc akong thread na mejo hindi daw safe gumamit ng cc sa mga restaurant kc nauso na
rin daw ang pag-clone ng cc dun.

thanks for the reply sis prettybarbie  so there's no problem pala if i bring more than 10,000, alin ang mas convenient na dalhin USD or HKD or pwede na ring PHP? actually both murang branded and mala divi na items, i dont have the itenerary pa..actually i won a trip to hongkong for 4  with accomodation and ticket to disneyland

^ sis wag ka magdadala ng more than 10,000 of any currency, you can use naman any philippine issued ATM or credit card in case kulangin ka. Mas okay na papalit ka na ng HKD para di na hassle pag dating mo dito, para di mo na poproblemahin ang pagpapalit. Kung mga mala divi ang hanap mo same price lang din sa mismong divi, as in, baka mas mura pa nga jan satin. Kung mga branded well anjan ang giordano, bossini, h&m, cotton on, uniqlo... Lagi may sale jan.... Ang swerte mo naman sis, san ka nanalo?

Omneecka never pa naman ako nagka problema sa credit card, malaking company ang wellcome, h&m and sasa tingin ko di ka magkakaproblema don. I always use credit card whenever i dine or shop (nag-iipon kasi ko ng miles) and okay naman, mas convenient pa.

^ i agree, mas convenient if will use CC. during our stay, sa lahat ng shops yan ang gamit ko, at hindi ako nahirapan na, at hindi ako dumating sa point i need to spend all my HKD for the sake na hindi ko na siya magagamit.
