seriously, SAs should know that not all naka porma are rich and not all naka simpleng damit lang are poor. personally, mas madami akong kilalang simple lang manamit na mayayaman.

I think the best way to tell them that you're not worth their scrutinization is to just pass by them and continue to mind your business while inside the store. 

Most nouveau riche would just walk pass them as if nobody's around.  They wouldn't hint at SAs that they can afford.  I am not rich but, I do that when I'm in my uniqlo shirt and simple shorts. 

They look at me but I don't mind them.  I smile at them when I enter the store, greet them with good afternoon if they did that as well.  I say excuse me nicely when they are in my way. I just go around checking the stocks, even the prices.  They never bother me coz i just call them when I need them to tell me the price.  Its better to let them show you have manners and they will leave you alone. 

If nothing fancies you, then leave the store.

Basically, just do your thing and forget about what they will think about you (whether you're loaded or not) and just do what you came for.

Seriously nasaihan naako ng ganyan at blade megamall. When i askedhow much yung Momo na manibela. I just simply replied "di ko tinatanong kung mahal or mura ang tanong ko magkano". So nung sinabi na ang price, then i went to the counter, asked for the store manager and told her my issue with the sa. So while paying for my purchase pinaharap dun sa akin yung  sa and was asked to ask an apology sa akin.

Before i left isa lang sinabi ko "dear di porke nakatsinelas ako di ko afford to buy. Baka ikaw kahit anong ipon mo kahit secondhand na kotse di ka makabili, so magtaray sa  Lugar. "

Eto recently lang pero hindi naman sa luxury store.. 4 days after namin masunugan, punta akong sm appliance store wearing no makeup and mga dinonate lang na damit saka yung slippers na suot ko nung araw na nasunugan kami. Nung una medyo hindi ako pinapansin ng mga salesman kasi nag iinquire ako sa electric fan. Tinatawag ko sila pero deadma. May hinahanap akong store manager pero parang hindi naman ako ineentertain kasi papatawagan ko sa kanila sana yung secretary ng VP ng sm appliance kasi approved nako sa manager's discount.

Inentertain na lang nila ako nung kumuha na ako ng aircon, ref, washing machine, 2 electric fan, induction cooker, rice cooker at epilator saka nung pinakita ko na sa kanila yung id ng ate ko tapos 2 store manager ang nag assist na sakin.

Naexperience ko na to but not in a luxury store, sa watsons! 'From duty" status ko that time and i was wearing a scrub suit, medyo di nakaayos kasi puyat at ngarag tapos dala ko pa eh big bag. I noticed the guard lang na sunod ng sunod sa akin, kala siguro shoplifter ako..di ko na lang pinansin kahit medyo nakakairita, tinagalan ko pa para lang inisin sya.. When i was at the cashier na and i knew nakatingin pa din sya, sinadya ko ilabas tig-1k peso bills from my wallet, pero that time gusto ko na sya sampalin ng barya lol

it's really sad when these things happen... SAs need to be briefed that sometimes, the really wealthy are the ones that are dressed so simple.

Thankfully, this has never happened to me. Baka bilhin ko yung SA mismo lol kidding aside, hopefully it will never happen kasi baka lumabas "that" side of me in public... wag naman sana.

So funny to read all these stories. The LV experience was the same that happened to us in the Nike Store in Glorietta. my fiance and his friend were here in Manila for their annual vacation (both are FilAms and both are rare shoe collectors)

So we went in the store, they checked out the shoes while I looked at the womens training gear. This guy came up to my fiances friend and whispered loudly "Sir peke po yung Jordans niyo, naloko po kayo pero maganda po ha?

My fiance called me and said to watch this. So I sat as he was about to attack the salesperson.

FRIEND: Pare matagal knbang nagtratrabaho dito?
SA: Yes Sir kaya kabisado ko talaga lahat ng models
FRIEND: Do you have a computer here so we can check
SA: Yes Sir meron po (goes to the computer)
FRIEND: Can you google Air Jordan 11 Retro DMP
SA: (looks up for it and saw it in a shoe collector site) GASPS!
FRIEND: Can I check my mail? I need to show u something
SA: Sige po sige po (looking ashamed)
FRIEND: checks mail and shows receipt of $1,500 "Here man I got it for the same price as your annual salary" Btw its limited edition.... we all walked out shyly smiling.

Pasimpleng tingin happened to me when I was wearing simple clothes but it didn't bother me much. I don't like SAs hovering around if I don't need them. I'll only get irate pag nagchichismisan and ignoring customers.

SA's also have training on how to determine actual customers (i.e. who will buy from the store) kaya normal yung one-over where they look at people from head to toe. I think mga ganitong attitude also happens because of people who get them tired but wala naman bibilhin. But at the end of the day, customer service is still important so wala sila choice and they should treat store visitors well.

Though I think magandang marketing strategy din ito ng company -- yung maiinis yung customer tapos papakita they can afford by buying their products but giving the credit/commission to another SA

For those who will pay it for months, short-lived victory lang yan kasi nainis ka na, magbabayad ka pa ng utang sa CC. Giselle Sanchez ba yung may ganitong story?
For those who can afford, well the old rich culture doesn't care about what other people think. Mga noveau riche though will get stuff kahit di naman nila gusto to spite the SA.

True. Growing up with wealth and status, there's really no need to "buy" an image or put on a display for others all the time.

Yung mga supladang SAs, umaalis talaga ako. There are other choices. Baliktad pa nga ako, minsan when I can sense genuine helpfulness and sincerity in an SA, napapabili pa ako kahit wala akong balak, LOL lang talaga. Should not let myself be so easily swayed. (Kagaya sa keds last week...though yeah, keds is hindi naman luxury store, but still! College pa yata ako nung huli ako nag-keds. Well, anyway, maganda naman. Can be used for outings.)

^same with me, may mga nabibili akong di ko gusto dahil lang sa mabait na SA, pag-uwi ko ng bahay deretso sa box na ipapadala ko sa pinas dahil di ko talaga gusto. Kaya in a way mas gsuto ko pa nga na ignore ako ng SA para bibilhin ko lang talaga yung gusto ko. Saka I don't really care din naman kung pansinin ako or ignore nila ako kasi I came there naman to get the things na bibilhin ko talaga....so keber ko lang sa kanila.

Never pa naman nangyari sakin to, usually kasi iniiwasan ko mga lux store since wala naman akong pambili haha, or pagcurious talaga ako, well naka-chin up akong papasok sa store then show them na hindi ka na-aaloof sa kanila haha inferness todo assist naman sila sakin 

Or pag may SA na sunod ng sunod, i-englishin ko na lang tipong I'll call you when I need help- in a nice way then umaalis naman agad.

Not really a luxury store, pero sa BGC high street na Healthy Options. I was looking for apple cider vinegar and parang may nabasa ako na meron daw sa Healthy Options so I tried there.
Pagpasok ko, walang ibang customer at yung mga SA nagkumpulan sa counter, nag uusap-usap.
So dumiretso ako sa nag-iisang SA na wala sa counter. Tiningnan niya ako mula ulo hanggang paa! I ignored that and asked right away kung meron ba silang apple cider  vinegar.
Ang bilis ng pag-iling niya at tipong napaurong pa yung ulo niya na parang diring diri sa akin. Ni hindi man lang ako kinausap ng maayos or what! As in yun lang sinagot sa akin!
Nabastusan lang ako. Hmp.

Hindi pa naman nangyayari kasi hindi ako pumapasok sa luxury stores. Hanggang sa window display lang ako.

Pero meron nangyari nag-jogging ako with my cousin at night, from Kamagong to Rockwell. Pawis na pawis pumasok ako sa Zara, tinignan ako mula ulo hanggang paa ng isang assistant pero ngumiti naman sa akin and tinanong ako if I need help. Ang masama lang naman tingin sa amin ng pinsan ko iyong mga rich people sa Rockwell mall, parang gusto yata nila nakaporma ka sa teritoryo nila.
