^  Good job then!  I hope your brother liked the bag.  And good job in keeping your cool, there is no need
naman to have all mataray SAs terminated, pag sabihan lang.

I once walked in sa LV sa greenbelt wearing my usual probinsyana look (jeans and plain shirt with fitflops, eh bakit ba galing ako talaga sa province that time  ;D ). It was an experiment.

I don't go into high end stores, wala naman kasi ako pambili. And I'm the type na madali mag init ang ulo. I'm worried if I get discriminated,  I might pull a Giselle Sanchez. Mas malaking problema!

But when I go to malls,  jeans, t shirt and flip flops din lang kasi dun ako comfortable. Whenever I encounter mataray and maarte na SA, I give them the death stare. Effective naman. Sometimes,  I'd just walk away.

no pa.. mas mukha kasi akong mataray kesa sa kanila..  ;)

my sister yun, mas mataray sa akin, naging manager kasi sya sa restau sa greenbelt.. so kapag nasa stores/restau sya and walang pumapansin sa kanya or hindi maganda ang approach sa kanya, she will ask agad "where's your complaint box?" ayun, kandarapa na agad yung staffs kapag sinabi nya yon.. she told me to do that also, pero hindi ko naman na experience pa..  :D

Specially since Iam super nice na customer. Di naman kasi ako bastos or customer na pakuha ng pakuha ng stocks pero, di naman pala kukunin, or di naman pala kukuha. Pero mga bastos na SA naman talagang patay sila sa akin!I wont bat an eyelash sa pagpapa alis sa kanya sa trabaho. Extreme akong tao. super nice.. peropag nagalit.. super EVIL!

I dont want to see your face here, when I return!" The security guard questioned me! " GIVE AWAYS TONG LAHAT NG ITO? ANG DAMI NAMAN ATA PARA I GIVE AWAY LANG!"( Sabay, isa isang binubulatlat ang paperbag ko! Sa Makati yun, pinatabi ako sa may WATCH shop doon.. pababa ng Supermarket!) eh di sinabi ko " KUNG AYAW NIYO MANIWALA, MAGPATAWAG KAYO NG OFFICIAL NA TAUHAN SA NAGBIGAY NIYAN!" Ayun! pahiya silang lahat! Tapos tinanong ako " how can we make it up to you?  sabi ko " I WANT THE PERSON WHO HARRASSED ME, AND MADE ME LOOK LIKE A SHOPLIFTER TERMINATED FROM HIS WORK!"

Dapat they should had delt with me nicely pa rin, at di nakaka degrade.

So far, never happened at a luxury boutique. I've compared MAC mua's na from Trinoma and Rustan's Makati. Kaya ayoko talaga namimili sa MAC Trinoma. Halatang mas inaasikaso yung mga matatanda na, or mas grabe mag makeup feeling nila yon ang mas may pambili. Sa SM dep't store naman naexperience ko lang first time mahingan ng ID for my credit card. Mas madalas ako sa Rustan's non and never pa nangyari.

But that's just me. :)

^ Sis, normal lang magtanong ng ID. SOP talaga yun kahit sa ibang bansa. Ako I appreciate that they follow that procedure kasi it means nag iingat sila. I would sometimes offer my ID to SA kasi gusto ko masanay sila to do it.  :)

I haven't been discriminated so far, but my husband had a slight experience at the LV store in greenbelt. He was dressed down when he visited the store. He stood in front of the displays waiting for his turn and it took them about 3-5 minutes before he was entertained. When they finally accommodated him, he just asked if a particular model is available and then handed his credit card. The SA daw obviously got surprised and quickly offered him refreshments.  ;D

^^with my experience sa MAC trinoma, accommodating sila. Mukhang akong high school student with a little make-up on pero the mua always accommodates me.

^ Don't get offended if the cashier asks for your ID.  I got offended the first time I got asked for it, kasi
naman no one ever asked for my ID and I'm always nicely dressed pinagsabihan ko yung girl sa cashier.
Abroad naman, they don't usually ask for ID in asian countries and in the US, but they do ask for IDs
in Europe, minsan passport pa or bahala ka daw if magkaproblem sa tax refund.  E di fine, sayang nga
naman yung tax rebate.

normally in north america, at some stores, there is certain limit you can purchase with your credit card without them asking for your ID. I was even asked for an ID when I returned something at a store.

So one time, gusto ko bumili ng bagong Pacsafe. One of them was looking at me. Wala pa ring lumapit. Then may pumasok na nanay with her teenage boy, bibili ng Jansport bag. Aba! Nilapitan at mega entertain sila!! Lapit si hubby sakin, sabi, "Got what you want, sweetheart?" I said, " No, because nobody would entertain me. They probably thought I have no money.. It's ok, what they have here are the cheapest ones anyway." Nilakasan ko para marinig nilang lahat hehe.. Hubby asked for the manager. Oh well, hubby really chewed his ass..

Years ago Oprah was also discriminated at an Hermes store in Paris I think. 15 minutes before mag close yong store ayaw na sila papasukin. I remember that Hermes CEO apologize to Oprah on her show.

With this latest incident, she's so classy na she just walked away instead of demanding for a manager.

This is why SAs should never judge any customer  by their appearance. They'll never if the customer who walks into their store is multi billionaire.

Nakakaloka lang ang sinabi ng may-ari "there had been 'a misunderstanding' caused by the assistant’s failure to recognize Oprah."

It could happen to anyone.

Additional pa pala... Although it wasn't me naman, but my other family members.

One time naglalakad yung cousin ko, and he was offered tuxedo by this n*gger na naglalako. Then he asked kung taga san daw sya. Syempre he said Philippines. Tapos biglang umalis? Parang may "nevermind" pa nga. Uhh, okay.

Then my dad and brother were at an optical shop, looking for shades. May nakita si bro and of course tinuro ni dad coz he wanted to see. Sabi nung saleswoman, roughly in tagalog, mahal yan. Well in the end binili ng tatay ko.

I didn't have any experience don well probably because I look chinese. Actually, kahit saang chinese country. -_-
