^ super rude sis yung sa LIVING WELL, to think di nga high end store nila para magpaka high brow ang S.A's na  ang itsura! Di bagay sa PODIUM mga inaasta nila. They were looking at me kasi tinarayan ko talaga manager nila, to add pa nga sabi ko " kung  siya sa work, mag resign na siya!" At, ! no wonder walang bumibili sa kanila. Then narinig ko yung isang S.A na nag sabi ng " paano mo pa ba masssist?. Eh," then the manager cuts her off mid sentence! Iam NOT even asking her to get a stock from the stockroom! So, there was really no assistance involved! I just asked if the 800 was already the 50% off from original price!  sila kung makapag estima ng customer!

^Precisely! Their job is to assist, smile and lure customers in buying their products! Hindi mang-mata at magtaboy ng customers. LOL sis! may mga matitindi palang mga SA. I discovered a lot eversince I started this topic. Being rude and tactless is becoming an epidemic sa kanila.

^ i wasnt even wearing a pambahay outfit. I think talagang hindi nila mahal ang work nila. I dont deserve such attitude. Buti di ko kilala owner... But I am trying to find out who the owner is! Kakausapin ko talaga siya.I will make sure na pag bumalik ako sa store na yun eh, wala na siya doon sa store na yun.Ginawa ko na yun sa Rustan's. Nagpa set ako ng appointment sa owners, and asked for the security personnel's dismissal.

^ tama yan sis para naman mas umasenso and pinagttrabahuhan nila

Naalala ko ng mga 13 yata ako i was with my tita sa grand department store yun nasunog lol. So ayun pinaghintay kami ng 15 min.

When someone demands for a person's termination, what kind of validation does that person get?

Just asking because I never really understood why people would do this. I think the only time this would be acceptable is when a person's safety is threatened because of their incompetence.

^The validation that the "Customer is always King".

Their customers is their life line (they get their salaries from).  Therefore, if they cannot respect that, then these SAs are in the wrong occupation.  Mag tinda nalang sila sa palengke where respect for others is not that mandatory.

I was at prada GB last week and the SA was quite accommodating.  I went straight inside and di ko sila pinapansin because i was looking for the bag i saw online sa neiman which they didnt have.

She offered an alternative and gusto talaga pahawakan sa akin.  Im based in the province so may dala pa ako na plastic nun na pasalubong.  :). I was surprised nga coz i expected her to be indifferent based on the feedbacks i heard regarding greenbelt SAs.

Sa mac, i like their SAs at moa/cebu  coz di makulit and sunod ng sunod but if i wanted to try an item, accommodating naman.

but i had a bad experience sa prestige parking ng sm.  Bawal sa dad ko maglakad ng malayo and yun ang parking na malapit sa needed na slacks nya for my wedding. As in buy lang ng slacks then alis kaagad.  Since we dont have the prestige card ayaw kami payagan kahit nakiusap ako and dun na lang daw sa disabled parking sa malayo.

Naging bridezilla ako coz it concerned the health of my dad.  i demanded to see the head of security and i was screaming sa ofc nila sa gigil.  They were apologizing really hard.

Nagpaiwan ako sa car sa inis.  I noticed yung suv pina-park kahit walang prestige card.  If vios car bawal pero if montero suv, pwede.  Grrr talaga yun.

a few years back, pumunta kami sa isang car dealership. we just took the bus and as soon as we stepped inside the showroom, sabi ng isang staff doon, "you just got off the bus" (or something to that effect). i replied back "thats why we are here". i hope she got what i was trying to imply since she left us  soon after. eh talaga naman na may balak kami to buy a car and we are still in the process of comparing syempre.

hindi yung brand na yun ang binili namin and happy naman kami sa nag assist and after sales support.

Minsan din, to some extent, the  is Customer is King mantra, is not always applicable, not in this day and age anyway. This i have learned this the hard way since I have worked abroad in a big box store in the customer service dept. but that's another topic for discussion.

I'm lucky that I don't remember having been discriminated upon in highend stores. I wear branded bags all the time naman din kasi talaga. If in case it happens, the best approach is to inform the person concerned about the mishap, and not go down to their level.

this is sad but in the places i'v been abroad especally europe, the SA's are very nice and accommodating even if i'm in unfashionable clothes, sneakers and nondescript bags. in hermes nga, i was pointing out the evelyn bag to my hubby and a SA approached me pa! I bet that wouldn't happen in manila  :P

Here in SG, wala pa naman ako nararanasan na discrimination, may it be work or shopping. :)

Mga SA dito minimum wage Lang and may contract Lang.

Isipin niyo Rin, intention niyo b talaga to buy or just asking around?

hello girls!

As usual, out of curiosity na naman ang question ko. This often happens to me because most of the time when i shop, i dress in casual polo shirt, shorts and birks. For instance, i remember I went to an LV store in Makati. The moment I entered, the salesladies were staring at me from top to bottom. They ignored me when I asked them if I can take a look at the monogram galliera MM I saw in their display window. One of them said "I don't think we still have stock" (take note, in English, sabay irap). They attended to another customer instead. To my surprise, she asked for the same model and in seconds, ang bilis nilabas si galliera MM! They didn't even mind me, still standing there, watching them in amusement. I just walked away with my 500,000 Php debit card. Unspent. I thought maybe, pairing a  lacoste shirt with birkenstock is not enough to convince them that I'm a spending customer and not a window-shopper. Then again, I still think they have no right to judge customers based on their get-up dahil kawalan nila yun.

How about you, mga sis?

Ayka, in your situation, that SA needs to be taught a lesson nga talaga.  I did experienced having one of those
SAs in LV Greenbelt look at me from head to toe but never really minded her kasi when I inquired, I was accommodated
naman.  Either she liked my outfit, or she did not.

I bought the bag for him!!!!! Inis ko eh! Walang pwedeng gumawa sa pamilya ko niyan. Grrr!
