hi! been back-reading discussions regarding weddings. sa december wedding namen. so far, reception venue pa lang naka-book. was torn between two churches, then nung nakapagdecide na kame na hindi talaga suitable yung San Antonio de Padua Parish at perfect for the wedding yung Christ the King, saka namin malalaman na 10am slot na lang available, eh evening reception kame.. start pa lang ng planning, problem na kagad

we already had to change our wedding date and have it on a friday kase fully booked na lahat ng saturdays and sundays ng mango farm ng december. tapos naunahan na rin pala kame sa church kahit pa friday yung wedding.. hayyy 

i've already pencil booked Immaculate Conception Cathedral near cubao pero feeling ko malayo na sya mashado sa reception venue.. i've also called to inquire sa Sta. Maria della Strada and found na open pa yung 3pm slot nila. kaso tabing-tabi naman sila ng katipunan tapos wala pang parking..

hi sis ^drawn2u, I feel you! We had to change our date din kasi we really like St.James and weekdays na lang sila available. We previously booked the venue on weekend but buti na lang available din sila dun sa changed date... so it's a weekday wedding. And worry na lang namin is yung guests. Most probably mas madaming hindi makakarating.

mahirap ang walang parking, pero if you have a coordinator maybe they can work it out... Isa din kasi na dapat isipin is pag friday masikip ang rush hour and if 3pm ang wedding then 4pm (rush hour na) ang travel papuntang reception

naku pag December weddings peak season talaga... supplier suggests na at least 1 1/2 years ang pagplano niyan

sorry to hear that sis drawn2u. ang hirap talaga pag december. kelangan talaga last year pa lang venue and church nafinalize na. ako i had to give up my dream venue kasi di na sila available for december weekends and di magmatch sa availability ng church. so sad. but buti na lang nakahanap pa din ng okay na din na alternative venue that matched church sched

I've come to terms na with the fact na hindi na mangyayari ang Christ the King - Mango Farm ng december weekend.. At least meron pa rin kaming nahanap na church. Palagi na lang akong magdi-deep breathe, hehe.. We can do this!

Had our detailing with Hizon's yesterday, overall I like my event manager she was very easy to talk to. Again food was great, she arranged final food tasting for us. For the styling, you can actually request what you want for the styling, I asked if she can provide the same styling as seen in their previous launch, it was still for approval probably to be used for the -ber wedding months. But still from her presentation, I specifically chose those that I think would look like it was an upgraded version of their styling.
Menu: 4 appetizers, soup, salad, pasta bar, 5 viands, dessert bar, choco fountain, refillable drinks.
Freebies: bridal car -- converted to couch and coffee table set up; hotel accommodations (overnight, 2 rooms); cake; doves; bubble machine; champagne; guest book; kiddie set-up; cocktail tables.

We went there with our coord, Infinite Events by Mr. and Mrs., I scheduled the detailing 1week prior, but we had no problems contacting Di and she was specific with some of the things that we needed for the reception, floor plan, etc.

We also had a meeting with our P/V - Filterpan last thursday for our pre nup. A little getting to know the couple and scheduling for pre nup pictorials. Pat and Rj were nice, we will just wait for their proposed plan for the pre nup shoot. Excited!

We are happy to have our suppliers, cooperative and readily available. So far, so good. Happy preps sisses!

^wow ang daming freebies ng hizon's sis ha.. im happy for you, sana kami din umusad na yung pagbobook, so far kasi venue, caterer, church and invitation pa lang meron..

Hi sis ladyxyris! nakakatuwa naman mga freebies mo.. Where is your venue pala? napaisip ako sa ibibigay sakin ni Hizons kasi I told them I'll have an events stylist to do the backdrop, VIP, centerpieces and they offered me bridal car, 6 desserts plus choco fountain and salar bar to compensate. Pero I was thinking kung sapat ba yun considering na wala akong kukuning flowers and styling from them.

By the way dec bride here! ALmost done booking my suppliers. Gown for me and entourage nalang.

Hi sis miss_k! Our venue is at Unilab-Bayanihan Center. Have you had your detailing yet? They are very kind naman, basta marunong ka lang gumamit ng dealing skills. hehe.. Sanay na din sila kung hihingi ka man ng freebies/discounts so ready na din sila sa mga pwede mong i-request. And it also depends din sa price per head ng nakuha mo. Tagal pa naman wedding mo eh.. ako June bride!

hello, may idea ba kayo kung when ulit operate ang san agustin we where booked kasi ng october dun for wedding kinakabahan ako kasi under renovation sila tapos tumatawag ako walang sumasagot.

^sis, ang alam ko tuloy pa naman ang weddings dun kasi di naman sila full renovation like Manila Cathedral... Kanina ka ba tumawag? If yes, sa pagkakatanda ko kasi no office sila pag Monday. better call them tomorrow para maconfirm mo pa din with them...
