i am elle and i am a newbie here in girl talk forum. i was just advised by my friend to sign up here in the forum for me to get tips on how to get married. i am getting married this april 12 at glass garden pasig. i think my schedule is tight already since i only have the ceremony and reception venues booked. hope you can help me out with my big problem! thanks! more power!

Hi sis, sobrang tight nga ng sched mo. There will be a bridal fair this coming March 9 - 10 at smx. maybe you may want to check the fair. lahat ng suppliers that you will need will be there so one stop-shop ka na lang.

If you really want an intimate wedding maganda dun (sobrang close kayo kasi maliit lang yung loob ng chapel) but the place is nice.

Reception will be at Light of Love, Santol, QC (if you are not familiar with the place, bago pa yun dumating ng SM Sta. Mesa)

Hotel preps, Bride: Manila Hotel; Groom: Oasis Park (pero di pa kami nagpapa-book)

32 days to go.. pero dami p prob.. hindi pa kami nakapag-distribute ng invitations,
wala pa kami candle, bible, matches for the secondary sponsor, wala pa yung gown ng mga ento,
at yung souvenir na January ko pa pinagawa wala pa din.. si ateng sales lady sa tabora.. tinakas DAW yung mga downpayment namin at mge resibo kaya di pa nagagawa..

Hello po mga sis! Im also a 2013 bride-to-be. My wedding is on November! Makiki-join lang ako sa mga usapan nyo. I've already booked my church and caterer, may invitation supplier na din kami wala pa lang set na design etc.

No photo and video yet, nakakaloka sa dami nila! If madami lang kaming budget, madali lang pumili pero if trying to be on a budget pero maganda din quality, mahirap!

No coordinator yet, no flowers, no wedding dress and entourage, no emcee, no choir/ band! Ano pa ba? haha! I think pinaka-mainam na gawin ko is humanap muna ng coordinator, gusto ko lang ng OTD, I think most of them give a checklist di ba? That way it would be easier for me to find what else I need to book.

Theme din ang gusto ko nang malaman para makausad na yung mga DIY na plan kong gawin! Anyway kamusta naman kayo?

^Dis same tayo November din ako! Pero church at venue pa lang nabooked namin. Hehe. Meron na din pala akong HMUA at OTD coord. Yun pa lang meron kami the rest puro queries at research pa lang.. Don't worry sis medyo mahab pa naman time natin to prepare.

^+arte20+, wow novembersister! I know malayo pa pero ayoko kasing matagalan yung photo and video, baka kasi may magustuhan kami tapos booked na pala. Sino pala kinuha mong OTD? Curious lang ako kasi it means you trust them. Hirap kasing humanap na mapagkakatiwalaan mo sa big day.

hi sissies.. i need your opinions, i'm torn between barong or suit sa entourage and groom ko.. hahaha..

our theme is winter wonderland like. what do you think? ok lang ba kung barong sa ganong theme? twigs, white flowers, candles, crystals.

hindi namin kasi sagot ang attire ng male entourage .. ties lang para pare-pareho. nakakatakot lang baka on the day iba iba ng color..

sis, Events: Simplified ang OTD namin. inquire ka din and you can set a meeting with Karmie if you want. she's super nice at mabilis sumagot. first meeting ko pa lang with her nafeel ko na agad na sya ang gusto kong ibooked for OTD coord. plus kasi naging comfortable ako agad sa kanya which is i think ganun din dapat mafeel mo since sila yung aasahan mo on the wedding day at pwede din naman during the preps!

Sis sdee i agree with you hirap mag decide sa color motiff ilang beses ako nag bago niyan from pink/green naging blue/green, blue/silver ngayon cobalt blue/ light yellow/silver

ako din mga sis nahihirapan sa color motif. originally kasi is light/blush pink & gray/silver then parang naisip kong mas ok kung pastel or bright colors lahat since morning kami. kaya next is blush pink, light blue & ivory or medyo lighter yellow, tapos naisip ko na naman touches of pink (blush & hot) & cream or white. haha! basta kasi gusto ko kasi pink, can't decide lang talaga kung ano mas ok pag morning wedding in a garden venue.

Sis i think different shades of pink is good for a garden wedding tapos mag compliment pa dun yung color ng surrounding area mo na green kasi nasa garden kayo very fresh yung dating niya. 1st choice ko din yung pink kaya lang ayaw ng ibang ento ko kasi pink na naman daw yung damit nila.

^thanks sis! i really love pink kasi kaya they know na agad na yun ang primary motif ko. haha. yes kaya aside sa green nagiisip ako ng ibang color na pwede kong icoordinate with that. medyo mahirap nga lang. hehe. kaya baka white na lang or cream or ivory. haha.

Sis pwede mo pang accent color blue na medyo bright ang shade or you can used  2 shades of pink na light then a darker shade of pink tapos accent color mo yung green shade na sage green or olive green

5 weeks to go and nagsisimula na ang jitters 

The other night, bigla na lang ako ng breakdown, as in todo iyak at namaga talaga ang mata ko 

Bigla lang ako na-overwhelm at naisip ko lahat ng mga na-compromise ko for this wedding, na walang nasunod sa gusto ko kasi pinagbigyan ko yung gusto ni h2b and future in laws.  Bigla ako nag self pity.  Haha!

Pero Im okay now.  Alam ko naman na kelangan talaga ng compromise at mas matinding mga compromise pa ang kelangan after the wedding
