Hello, brides-to-be!

I'm a newbie here and this is the 3rd thread na pinasok ko. I'm just a bit worried na I have too little time to prepare, considering na I'm doing all the preps. My wedding is on July 27. Right now, all I have is Church & venue, wala pa caterer, flowers, HMUA, etc...

Any suggestions? Or advice. My church and venue are both in Silang, Cavite.

 I need all the help I can get. Thanks in advance!

^sis for HMUA you may want to try Romy Enriquez, dasma based sya. Sya yung naging make-up artist ng friend ko last December in Tagaytay. mura lang package nya although may bayad na 500 yata yung trial nya pero deductible sa package if kukunin mo sya... eto number nya: 09175027018. naginquire din ako sis sa kanya for qc rate ang bigay nya sa akin super mura B+G+10 heads. sa friend ko i think 12k B+G+6heads. airbrush for bride na daw yan...

for p/v naman sis, try Blessing Photography. cavite area din sila search mo na lang meron ata sila branch sa SM bacoor. HTH sis!

i suggest sis, you get a coordinator na, at least the coord will help you in suggesting suppliers and he/she can at least provide you with a timeline, kung ano ang dapat unahin or dapat unang asikasuhin.

Buti na lang sunod sunod nag fairs, nakumpleto ko mga suppliers ko in the past 3 fairs, discounted pa. Hehe.

I suggest check the schedules of upcoming fairs, tapos pre-register para free entrance fee.  Meron upcoming sa SMX on March 9-10

Hi Sheblogger, i'm getting married in May and we just started prepping last January.
Kayang-kaya yan. Rule of thumb talaga at the very least 4mos preparation. Like what the others said, get a coordinator. Kasi ako yun ang una kong nabook. Same month na-complete namin venue, cater, cake, flowers, PV, and photobooth. Ang inasikaso ko nalang talaga is yung attire namin and buong ento, HMUA, invitations, saka rings. Kayang kaya yan, stay focused and don't panic.

Apir sis popi, we are in the same shoes, April 6th here, Christian wedding  , started the preps almost January na, but did all the search/scouting 'bout wedding stuff before 2012. Dami kasing issues/changes, 2014 pa kasi dapat because were so confused to get married ng 2013. But everything's okay naman, mas maraming na-a-accomplished pag last minute. Basta kaya natin ito, tiwala lang.

Hi Sis follow up mo na Hizons din ang caterer ko pero May 2014 pa ang wedding ko..pahlp ka sa coord mo magfollow up..anong sabi sayo?ilang months dapat before wedding masend ang lay out? thanks

Hi mga sis!

Big day is on December 28, 2013! And so far, most of the major suppliers, booked na!
Nagstart kami mag-inquire is last November 2012 pa... First namin booked is the church Actually October 31, 2012 kami nag-book sa St. Pancratius Chapel, Paco. (kahit wala pang engagement na ngyari pina-book namin kasi yung preferred date namin ang available na lang ng pm sched is 5 and 7 so we grabbed na the 5pm agad baka makuha pa ng iba...

Pagdating nga namin sa office nagkataon na half-day ang parish office kasi mag-hholiday na yun for the All Saints'/All Souls' day.. buti na lang mabait si Kuya Alex at in-accommodate kami.

The rest of the preps ginawa na namin ng January. Attended bridal fair sa picc.

Provided ng Hizon's ang cake and bridal car. Actually may hotel accomodation din kaming free pero baka hindi ko na lang kunin and ilaan ko na lang sa ibang upgrades kasi feeling ko di naman nila accredited yung gusto kong hotel. Okay ba mag wedding preps sa Discovery Suites? Visually maganda ba siya sa Photo and Video? Do you have any suggestion na maganda but not so expensive hotel near Camp Aguinaldo?

Isa pang kulang ko ang strings though may ina-eye na ko--Da Capo. Pero baka sa church lang kasi may nagoffer sakin, yung banda namin sa show na sila tutugtog sa reception namin. Iniisip ko pa kung gusto ko pa rin ng strings sa reception o OA na yun. hehe If ever may masusuggest pa ba kayo? Gusto ko kasi sana medyo bagets and good looking ang mga tutugtog and hindi intense yung kind of music na inooffer nila. gusto ko medyo laid back and romantic ang dating ng mga areglo.

Meron pa ba kong nakalimutan? hehe

if aattend ka sis, bigyan kita tip para di ka ma overwhelm sa dami ng suppliers, puntahan mo ang exhibitors' list then start to research for reviews about those suppliers. para pagdating mo dun alam mo na agad sino ang highly recommended at maganda background. Mahirap na baka makuha tayo sa sales talk.

ako sis what I did, I list down what are our top priorities/suppliers to book. Then I printed out the exbihitors' list, filed it and marked down the suppliers na naresearch ko para when I go there diretso ko na sila mapupuntahan, naka save pa ko energy and time.
