hi there! im officially married na!
I must say everything went well. chill lang kayo mga sis on your wedding day.
some comments i'd love to share with you.
1. hotel preps (discovery suites) - what we did was, my room where i prepared 2 nights sya booked. so i was already checked in the day prior sa wedding. another room, for hubby's side was also booked for a night the day before. we were given a late check out naman of 3pm for hubby's room, after they checked out, they placed their stuff in my room. ang naging problem lang namin was yung isa pa naming room for my relatives where they were supposed to dress up and prepare. sa cavite pa sila galing eh. nag request kami ng early check in from my mom's account executive, na binigay naman niya, pero in the end, wala pa rin. so mejo nalate ang start at nagmadali mag prepare yung relatives ko. but we were given din naman a wash up area where they could stay wile waiting. so if me budget, i suggest na yung rooms eh before the wedding para di mangarag, lalo na kung me room naman na pang 2 nights.
2. church (st francis shaw) - shempre the bride will be late a bit kasi nakakaloka ang traffic sa ortigas last saturday. what was supposedly a 10 minute drive became a 30 minute drive. minadali tuloy ako. imagine, before the entourage started marching, inaayos pa lang yung pila. binaba ba naman ako ng wedding coordinator ng church sa gilid nila. nakakaloka. eh diba dapat di tayo bababa? wag na wag kayo papayag mga sis. wala na ako nagawa nun. kahit pa na late ng ilang minutes, hindi pa rin nila dapat ako binaba. mass was okay. i enjoyed the mass. not too formal. given by father edong dumaual. me parts na english me parts na tagalog. even though english yung missalette ko. nakakainis din na nun march ng entourage ginawang pair yung flower girls ko. eh gusto ko isa isa sila, minsan lang mag spotlight ang babies ko eh. amp. minadali ng konti accdg to my [textspeak!]. pero ganun eh. di na nga nakapag pictorial with the relatives sa church. as in. 3 shots na lang eh. pinaalis na kami dahil me mass pa. eh ang aga pa naman, 40 minutes pa naman. :| and can i just share, nakakatawa ako. kalagitnaan kasi ng aking march, while my sis was singing my march, nagsimula akong umiyak when i saw my closest girl friends hand me each a pink rose. tee hee!.
3. Flowers - my mom went to dangwa thursday afternoon before my sat wedding. nun lang sya umorder. i super love my bridal bouquet. parang ang ending lang worth 2k lang yata siya. when 8k ang sinisingil samin ng supplier ng discovery suites dun. less than 5k for the whole entourage

Gown - my oh my gown! since im already preggy mejo takot ako with my gown. sinukat ko siya mga sis. and buti na lang i did. kasi kung hindi masagwa siya come wedding day. nakagawa ng mga remedyo. i got my peg gown din despite na sinira ng contact namin yung gown, pinarepair namin yun thursday night before my wedding. at nakuha naman yung gusto ko. yun nga lang since me tulle ito sa dibdib ko, hindi masyadong planchado. kaya ginawa ni mommy, literally ni glue gun niya. hahaha. saved by the gun. despite of all the repairs and problems my entourage gowns encountered, they all were very pretty when i saw them during the wedding. tuwang tuwa ako. im so satisfied na din.
http://t.co/vm3E5geLhttp://instagram.com/p/SRuWH0n8g6/5. Souvenirs (Etched Moments) - typical me, until 1 am of my wedding day, ginagawa ko pa with my mom and bff yung souvenirs ko. im so happy they all loved it. dapat lang! hehe!
6. Reception (Discovery Suites) - namoblema pa kami before the wedding kasi despite of the fact that they knew na 4pm ang wedding ko. they still accepted an event na 5pm matatapos. hello how will they set up in like 30 minutes? pero believe ako sa discov, they didnt let us down. they kept they word. sakto 6pm promise nila ayos na. and ayos na nga talaga. nag set up yung mom ko din ng candy buffet that my guests uber enjoyed (we're starting that business soon) also, the photobooth was up already, kaya libang na libang na sila while waiting for me and hubby. nagustuhan nilang lahat ang food. even though mejo sikip the place, naging okay din naman for me. around 18 din ang hindi dumating sa list of confirmed, pero shempre me magbibitbit pa rin, so nagamit din naman yung iba. they also made a cutest set up of tiny long table where all of my kiddos guest enjoyed their mini soiree. i bought them coloring books and crayons to keep them busy plus the candies. ayun nakakatuwa yung kids, me sariling mundo. they made new friends. ayaw nga sumama sa nanay nila yung iba, mega enjoy sila with their new bestfriend.
7. Sound System (AJ Sound System) - last minute ko lang sila kinuha, like thursday lang. very accomodating naman the owner. sila din yung kinuha ko nun debut ng sis ko last year eh. ang naging glitch lang with them, nakakaloka, di nila pinlay yung pinaghirapan kong AVP which was supposedly playing while the guests are waiting for us. ALSO, yung background music when me and hubby enters, hindi nila pinalitan!!!! nakakainis lang. the entourage song entrance was accidentally inlove. okay lang eh. i love that song. pero shempre gusto ko yung pagpasok namin eh yung theme song din namin.
8. Program/Host - make sure na kung you just got someone to host eh magkaron kayo ng kahit one meeting lang na kwentuhan about your love story para di naman stiff yung paghohost nila. like they can add some small kwentos about you and your hubby. i did that. hehe. ako lang din gumawa ng program ko. with some little research din. add an ice breaker. the last wedding i attended nagtanong tanong sila ng questions about the couple. ang ginawa ko naman sakin, i got young married couples to join the compatibility game. nako kahit yung mga guest na di makarelate eh enjoy na enjoy kasi nag aasaran yung couples. plus pati yung ibang couples na di pa kasal nag tatanungan din in their place re: sa questions. ang ending, kami pa dahilan na nag away yung barkada ko. pero joke lang na away. hahaha. inaasar lang na sa labas matutulog si guy dahil makakalimutin. hahahaha. suggest ko lang din, pag napapansin niyo ng umoonti yung tao or nabobore, ang gawin niyo, cut short niyo yuung program. you dont necessarily need to follow the flow you made. kasi mamaya wala na audience. akala tuloy ng guests ko iba ganun talaga, pero hindi, di kasi halata na kahit ako binubulungan ko si host. haha.
9. lastly, I may not have Jason Magbanua SDE or kung sino pang best and pinakamahal na photographer and videographer. I think I got the best one for me! pre nup palang namin pasok na sa bangga eh. di ko akalain magiging ganun kaganda. kinabahan ako kasi mejo di nice yung ibang SDE sa naka post sa vimeo nila. pero when i saw mine. i think it's the best SDE i ever watched my entire life. di ko alam kung love your own kasi talaga. but i really think they really captured what i want to happen. to think na FREE ko lang nakuha yun sa package ko. free because i got them sa bridal expo nun september. many of my friends abroad got teary eyed watching it, and sabi nila, nakasmile din the whole time. kasi you'll really feel the magic and the love. sharing it with you down there, at my signature. by macromedia photography ENJOY! and good luck with all of your preparations!!!!
