sisses mag-4 months na si baby ko next friday & recently feeling ko humina syang dumede. minsan lagpas ng 3 hours di pa sya gutom tapos pag dumede sya 1 side na lang ng breast ko. kahit ibigay ko yung kabilang side umaayaw sya. normal ba 'to sa 3-4 months na babies?

^ Your baby may have become more efficient at nursing and it could be that he is getting more and thus, less frequent ang feedings. If you are bothered, offer your breasts on the third hour so he could nurse.

^thank you sis! sana ganun nga. medyo worried lang din ako na baka nawawalan sya ng ganang dumede kasi natuto na syang mag-thumbsuck. pero based sa mga nabasa ko hindi naman daw nakaka-apekto. hirap lang malaman kung gutom na sya kasi naging normal na lang sa kanya pag-suck ng thumb nya. ayoko namang hintayin na umiyak sya kasi late sign of hunger na daw yun. kaya minsan trial and error ginagawa ko. hehe.

^hi sis maika. parang yung eldest son ko pala yang baby mo. nung baby pa etong eldest ko, ayaw din nya ng cover. laging tinatanggal. so what i did before was find a medyo secluded spot nalang (ex. lingerie section in malls since wala pa halos breastfeeding stations before). tapos since ayaw nya ng nababalutan sya ng nursing cover, i just placed lampin over the exposed part of my breast para tago na sya. if you are using nursing wear, then it can be easier since it's meant to be discreet kahit walang cover.

if ever eventually ay masanay ang baby mo sa cover, you can try maintaining eye contact with him/her while nursing para alam nya na you are there.

^ My SIL gifted me the nursing cover by Milk Sense. May curved wire yung top part so we can still see each other. But I think she's still very young to appreciate eye contact. lol! Iyak talaga if she feels like it.

Hindi na ako nag pump ng milk. Mukhang magbe-behave naman si baby mamaya ( ) and will wait till we get to the car to nurse.

thanks sis marose! hindi ko maexplain but yung baby ko talagang extremely distractible kaya i love it at home kasi mas tolerable sya. and since toddler na sya, he is always fascinated around.

sis maika14, enjoy it while your baby can tolerate being in a nursing cover ako waley. 1month lang ata sya pumayag. nung nakaka-aninag na and nung nakakakita na, ayaw na.

Admit it mahal talaga Ang nursing cover and nursin top do we have to improvise. I wear a loose top and wear a tube inside para Hindi kita Tiyan Ko. What I use as a nursing cover is a wrap around batik skirt I use when I go swimming.

^ako naman yung spag strap na cotton spandex ang tela para di kita tummy. pero sa car lang talaga kame nakakapagnurse. haven't tried to nurse in public since my baby turned 3months kasi takot ako talaga. sabi ko nga sana yung baby ko ipwesto lang, magdede na agad eh. kaso may acrobatics pa na whatsoever. minsan parang ta-tumbling sa pwesto nya. kaloka.

i use lampin only. i often wear tube with nursing bra or tube with pads when im with my baby. we nurse everywhere, di na kailangan ng bFing room. the lampin is like a sash langfrom my shoulder, diagonally to my chest. ok naman so far, almost 13 months na kaming ganito i have cover pero di masyado effective lalo na pag naging toddler na it pays to have good reflexes din hehe! once mag unlatch, be prepared na

Ay totoo yang acrobatics na yan before, while, after breastfeeding. At kailangan talaga alert tayo once mag unlatch si baby. Kung hindi, hello world ang boobs natin. 

Hindi ko naisip yung tube top inside a loose shirt ah.. Nauubusan na ako ng breastfeeding-friendly tops eh. Thanks sis geri!

parang kame ni baby last saturday..
while hearing mass, aligaga na si bagets. pero we still stayed hanggang matapos (around 30mins pa).
tapos hanap-hanap kame ng place to breastfeed, foodcourt ang uwi namin (btw, we're in greenhills).
i always wear nursing tops or kung di naman ay yung maternity pants ko na hanggang tyan ang waistband. tapos si hubby taga hawak ng lampin in case bumitaw si baby.

kami eh no fail mag feed during mass since 3 weeks old si baby. nasanay na yata ako hehe! even duting baptism eh ayaw sa bottle, nag breastfeed ako sa harap ni Father hehe!

nakakaaliw naman mga stories niyo about breastfeeding in public Ako kasi hinay lang talaga kasi nasa arab country ako, di ko sigurado ang stand nila sa ganyan aside from may mga ibang lahi na makakita lang ng braso at binti ng babae nanlalaki na ang mata at namamagnet how much more kung nagpapabreastfeed baka maglaway na tsk tsk tsk.. Kaya lagi ako naghahanap ng room to breastfeed, pag wala at nearby parking lang naman, sa car kami ni baby.

lumalabas talaga ang abilidad ng mga mommies pag breastfeeding in public. nakakatuwa yung mga stories when we think about it after the fact. pero yung exact moment na naeexperience natin, kaloka talaga! may babies na tahimik lang while breastfeeding pero meron din na super likot (yung baby ko ngayon ganun). super tumbling sila so super try to maintain our poise naman ang mommy. buti nalang my cover is a poncho-type so kahit umikot pa or umalis sa latch si baby, covered parin ako front and back. tapos easy lang isara ulit ang nursing bra and damit.

i believe na we can breastfeed anytime, anywhere. syempre nung first son ko, medyo shy pa ako for the first few months but i still breastfed whenever he wanted to. etong sa second son ko, no more hiya kasi i know better how to handle it and i believe na mas nagiging aware na ang people about breastfeeding. i now am able to breastfeed in church, in a restaurant, while shopping or buying groceries (mga sis, kahit naglalakad pa!). when i'm not with baby naman, i pump in the car, in cafes, or in my desk at the office.

Speaking of the rising number of modern moms who are breastfeeding advocates, aba naman.. May nagugulat pa din pag nakikita yung paa ng baby ko na nakalitaw sa nursing cover. Yung iba, napapangiti talaga. Tipong "uy, ang bata pa nung mother (LOL I just look one!  ) pero karir sa breastfeeding oh!" And it makes me proud of myself. Pero yung isang matandang babae, parang nakakita ng multo. Hindi ko talaga sya makalimutan. Nakipagtitigan kasi talaga ako. Natakot naman ako bigla kasi nabasa ko yung thread about usog-usog.

natawa naman ako dun sa matandang babae. i wonder kung anong tumatakbo sa isip nya nung tinitigan ka nya... ako so far wala pa naman akong napansin na tumitig samin ng sobra. yung iba parang napapatingin lang pero hindi naman masamang titig. or baka oblivious lang ako while breastfeeding kaya hindi ko napapansin.    

onga, us breastfeeding mommies should be proud of ourselves. ako i view breastfeeding as my personal achievement. lalo na kung lumaking happy and healthy ang mga anak ko. i don't have anything against moms who chose not to breastfeed naman since it's ultimately their choice. pero if we can encourage them to do so lalo na kung pwede naman sila mag-bf, then super duper achievement din yun.

mommies i need help. full breastfeed ang baby ko. ever since kung mag-spit baby ko sobrang dami siguro more than one oz. ngayon nalaman ni pedia nya na kaming magkakapatid even my hiece have an allergies in cows milk/lactose. eh sabi nya ang milk natin is maylactose din. kaya pinagsi-switch nya ako sa soy milk. plan ko pa naman magpaBF not less than 1yr. haist. 2 doctors na nagsabi sa akin nun. may nakaincounter na ba sa inyo yun? thanks
