possible kaya may thrush infection? wala na siyang lumps pero hanggang likod yung kirot

^naranasan ko rin yan dati hangang likod parang may tumutusok.. naparanoid din ako sa thrush infection na yan lalo na at may puti sa dila ang anak ko. paminsan minsan din sumasakit ang breast ko.. normal lang kaya yun?

na-experience ko lang yung super sakit sa breast nung engorged ako and may plugged ducts. although yun, ang signs naman nya ay may lump sa breast (minsan super liit lang), or may line na naka-umbok (barado kasi yung daanan), and may small white spot sa nipple na parang pimple.

kung hindi parin talaga kayo mapalagay mga sis, better consult your OB na.

^sis yung kay baby ko natatangal ng konti pero hindi super clean. my fault,napabayaan ko rin kasi nung nagfoformula kasi si baby di ko agad nililinis kasi pag nagpabreastfeed naman ako napapansin ko nalilinis yung dila niya.. hangang sa yun nga kahit EBF na siya ngayon di ko na matangal yung white sa dila..

hmmm... siguro kung infection yan, dapat irritable si baby di ba? lalo na kung matagal na. matatanggal din siguro yan sis (i hope!). just continue with the breastfeeding. dami talaga benefits and less worries pa.

for peace of mind, you might want to ask your pedia's expert opinion na rin. alam mo naman, tayong mga mommies e praning sa mga konting something kina baby. hehe.

Sis mamichula, may I ask kung sino pedia mo? 7 months preggy palang ako pero natatakot ako if ever ma-jaundice ang baby ko, at least alam ko kung kanino ako tatakbo

I stumbled on some sulit and multiply ads selling breast milk at mga 200 prr 4 oz. I must say, I was saddened at the commercialization aspect. No judgment for these moms dahil baka nanagangailangan talaga,but... *sigh*.   .  Your thoughts, mga sis?

 Dr. Charina dizon meron sya clinic sa cardinal and sa st lukes sya pag saturday hindi sya mahilig magbigay ng meds and procedures pag di kailangan. Pinapamonitor lang nya an shes a bfeeding advocate

There's a place in Manila that sells breast milk, I think it's fabella yata...

Personally, I don't see anything wrong if some moms want to sell their breast milk. It doesn't make them less of a mom or a human being if they do specially if they do it because they need money.  To each his own

Sis marssie try avent #1 nipple. Or pigeon. My sis's son na newborn ayaw din mag bottle. She tried pigeon. ( ayaw ng baby nya avent nipple eh ). With pigeon Super ok na yun baby nya. Or medela nipple. One time kasi my sis forgot to bring her feeding bottle. So i lent her my medela nipple. Ayun happy si baby ( 3 month old ) and mommy. My newborn naman,  i alternate with direct and bottle feed. I use avent #1 nipple. For newborns daw yan. Few hours lang my baby got used to the avent nipple. Not much adjustment si baby. 3weeks old palang cya. So far no nipple confusion. She can take the breast as well as bottle with ease. My firstborn din took to the avent nipple witH ease. Few hours lang din kaya na nya mag bottle. Thats why i luv avent!

Habang lumalaki ba si baby, dapat nagchange din ba ng nipple? Or yun ba ang nagcacause ng nipple confusion?

^don't change nipple. yung breast di ba, hindi rin naman nagbabago yung flow? slowest nipple is advised para baby can still "work" for his milk.

^hi sis m_lim. naku, hindi parin pala nahanap ni OB yung cause ng pain... isang breast lang yung sumasakit? yung pain, you experience it while breastfeeding lang or all throughout the day?     

ang naiisip ko lang ngayon na possibilities, aside from thrush, are mastitis (infection due to plugged duct), back strain (improper brestfeeding position), or yung sabi ng iba na vasospasm (pero this is pain when cold, e mainit naman dito satin).

i do hope your pain resolves soon. i can relate to severe breast pain sis kasi i became super engorged nung first week of breastfeeding. good thing it didn't progress to mastitis.

^hi sis girlcrush. i apologize for my reaction. super nabigla lang ata ako. i did not mean to judge anybody, most especially someone who is breastfeeding. siguro yung negative lang ang una kong naisip. yung tipong baka the breast milk might not be in the best condition lalo kung hindi maayos at sanitary yung storage and pag-transport nung individual na nagbebenta.

i'm aware of the fabella milk bank. they sell breast there nga. the fabella moms are given a discount in their hospital bill if they give their excess breast milk. there is also a milk bank in PCMC. in both cases, the breast milk is guaranteed safe since the mothers were screened and the milk was properly handled and stored. this i think is the greatest consideration in donating or even selling breast milk.

i just hope na yung mga nagbebenta ng bmilk sa sulit or any other online venue, they properly handled the breast milk. para naman yung baby na makakainom will not be harmed (para kasing contradiction ito ng positive effects ng breast milk dba). it would be best siguro if they course it through the hospitals para mainform sila about the safe and sanitary extraction and handling of the milk. saka sa milk banks kasi, they still pasteurize the breast milk. 

just my thoughts.

wala na ngang lumps so tingin ko hindi siya masititis or plugged ducts. yung may white spot lang masakit!

pag malamig, mas kumikirot nga. pag naka todo a/c
