pag chest type freezer: 6 months max.

Back to work na ako next week.. Kasi ako di ko magawa dahil i tried few times ayaw niya, sa iba napapainom siya pero like what i've said pahirapan muna.

^much better talaga sis kung di ikaw ang nagbibigay ng bm sis. kasi alam talaga nila yun eh. what we've learned from LATCH and what we did also to train baby to take the bottle was like this:

sunday- be out of the house from 7am to 10am
monday-  be out of the house from 7am to 2pm
tueday - be out by 7am to 5pm
wednesday - go back to office na

^not so sure but you can try. kung ayaw ng bottle, try mo yung sippy cup tutal 6months na sya eh. i've read na yung iba pinapainom thru cup (cup feeding) or kutsara or dropper. sa baby ko pigeon ang pinakanagustuhan nyang nipple. okay din yung calma kaso nung nasira na, ayaw ni baby kasi yung tulo lang ng tulo sa bibig nya, gusto nya yung maeffort. :)

I have a number of friends whose babies are pure breastfed but their babies get sick often :( Why is that? I thought BF babies should have better immune systems?

^^ Case to case basis.  Generally, breastfed babies have stronger immune systems (because immunity from the mom passes through the breastmilk to the baby) and are not sickly.  Of course, this does not apply to ALL breastfed babies.

For me though, I can really attest to the power of breastmilk.  My children were preemies with very low birth weight (each weighed less than 3 pounds at birth and stayed in the NICU for 2 months) and yet, to this day, they have never been hospitalized.

I breastfed my baby for 8 weeks before going back to work and I believe it helped her a lot. My daughter is a year old and has only had 1 cold *knock on wood*. I just wonder lang why some other babies get sick so often when they have been breastfed longer pa.

My friend who has exclusively breastfed her baby for 1.5 years says her daughter gets sick every month. She's getting really discouraged about it and is planning not to breastfeed her next baby.

Hay wiah me luck mairaos ko BF kahit 6months muna then aim for more months after till maka two years :)

I have a number of friends whose babies are pure breastfed but their babies get sick often :( Why is that? I thought BF babies should have better immune systems?

^^kaya m yan sis marssie. i have now exclusively breastfed for 1yr. yehey! :)

sis khriseeee, your friend's baby might have an allergy. i would suggest she keeps bfeeding. or possibly some diet elimination to the mom to determine the allergen. pero i believe na if she did not breastfed, baka the case might be worse. my baby had just 2 cough and colds incidents. generally healthy naman.

Once you bring your babies to malls and the like and they get exposed to people, hindi maiiwasan ang sakit.  Yung mga sipon at ubo, could be a virus which is transmitted through air and hand contact. I never held my babies agad pagkagaling ko sa office.  I wash hands first and change into clean clothes.  We seldom had visitors din when my children were babies.

Kung allergy naman, you have to determine the triggers. My SILs nga hindi makapaniwala kasi sila mga SAHM mixed feeding agad but I managed EBF kahit na I was working full time.

:(  Well, up to you if you want to stop or not breastfeed the next baby kung di ka convinced.  To each her own. :)

^ Congratulations!  Birth pains lang yan, sis.  In the next few months, easy peasy na lang yan gaya ng sabi ng mga sisses dito. :)  Marami nga more than 1 year nag-EBF and kudos to them.  Kaya mo rin yun!
