Grayce, i'm using growth chart for BF babies. just want to know if i have similar stories. i have milk naman pero she is sleeping a lot din these days eh

^my baby is also sleeping a lot lately. i think dinadaan nya sa tulog yung sakit ng gums nya. super kagat ng kagat and irritable. halos sabay sabay kasi yung eruption ng ipin nya eh. yung pang-7&8th teeth naman niya yung namamaga. medyo mahina din magmilk.

ganyan kami ng daughter ko, pero hinde sya nag feed sa bottle during the day. nung 7 mos sya nagbakasyon kami ng 1 month kaya di sya nag bottle feed kasi lagi kami magkasama, ayun pagbalik ko sa work ayaw na nya mag bottle. so during solid lang sya (lugaw style). siyempre sa una nag iiyak pag inaantok naghahanap ng dede..later on nasanay na kaya lang pinaghehele. nung nag 1 yr old sya fresh milk sya and solids na sya. ang lakas kumain! pag uwi ko naman sa bahay non stop na yan sa pagdede. 1yr 2 mos na si baby.

for me it's effective naman. yup, 1x a day lang. my baby seems to know kasi when i use fenugreek eh. he doesn't like the milk much. kaya lifeoil is a better alternative for me. you may also check this blog, it has series of posts which coins 31 days of making more milk.

thanks sis, will check the blog out:)  i'm taking lifeoil once a day din lang. nakaka 3 days palang ako, hopefully magwork sya.
tapos im also taking some lactation cookies. need ko lang i up ang water intake ko, mahina kasi ako uminom ng water.

^^sis, nag take din ako ng methergine after manganak pero sabi ng OB ko safe naman daw yun for breastfeeding mom.

really sis, nagbleed ka din ba that time? na try ko din magdirect feed yesterday kahit nagtake ako ulit ng gamot, umiiyak kasi si baby, di ko matiis and super full na din ako ng milk. thankfully wala naman bad effect. so sana tuloy tuloy balik full breastfeeding na ko

thanks ms_ldr, sana nga hindi kami mahirapan masyado. to be honest, lugging around my pump and always looking for a place to do my business is getting really tiring. medyo malakas na rin naman kasi kumain baby ko kaya i think i am ready to wean. i still want to breastfeed pero at night na lang. also i am expecting to be away on business for a week in january. sakto na rin siguro yung decision na to. i will finally be free from my heavy backpack pump. sana lang ok na sa pedia na fresh milk sya and solids.

Hi!  I'm on the family way for my 3rd baby. Due ako in 2 mos. my first 2, di ako masyado naka-breastfeed. Yung 1st, 1 week lang. I gave up coz bothe my nips nagsugat and supeeeerrrr sakit. Worst pa sa pangananak. 2nd naman, 2 mos but mostly, thru pump. I didnt know na pagpump, humihina milk supply and dapat din pala direcho nagla-latch baby sa kin. Kaya for my 3rd, i wanna "study" more abt breastfeeding.  Really hope mas malakas and mas matagal ako maka-breastfeed this time.

paano kaya nagagawa ng iba na exclusive pumping kung nakakahina ng supply ang pag pump?

you can still definitely BF even if you're sick. mommies produce the antibodies the baby needs if the mommy is sick. and even if CS, you can breastfeed right away. just practice DOH's unang yakap protocol (skin to skin contact, and let baby latch as soon as you give birth.)

Thanks sis grayce, naiiyak na ako sa pain everytime umuubo ako, kaya nag aalala ako baka mahawa si baby, everyday ko pinapalatch si baby, sige din sipsip nakakatuwa kahit duda ako kung me nakukuha kasi mas madalas 2hours ko na siya yakap nakasubo lang siya sa nipple ko pag inalis ko iyak ng iyak, then one time naawa ako yaw tumigil binigyan ko formula nagmilk naman at nakatulog. I waited for more than 2hours then kinuha ko at inoffer ko breast ko, subo lang niya pero tulog na tulog, i did all the tricks, tickle dito, kalabit dito tulog talaga parang lalo pa napasarap tulog dahil nakadikit siya sa boobs ko.. Mamaya palang ako magpapump kasi, late dumating breastpump ko.. 3days old palang naman si baby, malambot parin breast ko minamassage ko siya lagi at hot compress but i guess i really need my sons help para magkamilk..

Sis, depende siguro sa hospital.. sa hospital na nanganak ako (pcmc), bawal mag dala ng formula milk even feeding bottle, 3 days ako sa hospital and wala talaga ako milk pa, ang ginagawa ng nurses dun is nagsusupply sila ng breastmilk tapos dropper ang gamit para ifed si baby.. 4th day pa lumabas ang milk ko after ko ipalatch ng ipalatch kay baby nung 3rd day bago lumabas ng hospital

Thanks for the info sis! Nadala na ako [textspeak!] sa 1st baby ko, my "uninformed" cousin told me to bring formula. Hindi naman tinanggihan ng hospital yung formula when I gave it to them. Shonga-shonga ko talaga nun. Buti na lang i was able to breastfeed my son for 11 mos. after that.

^ meron talaga hospital na first day palang ng baby formula agad pinapainom, kaya kung decided kana talaga na mag bf, yun siguro ang first na dapat mong iinform sa ob mo at sa pedia para di nila bigyan ng formula ang baby mo... Sobrang nakakatulong talaga if sa pro bf hospital ka manganak kasi encourage ka talaga nila mag bf.. Yung inlaws ko nagpapareseta na ng formula sa pedia ni baby dati pero dineadma ko lang siya  , bf pa din ako kay baby until now 18mos na siya.. Goodluck sis!

^sis sakin 1 week na di ko pa nararamdaman na may milk ako pero si baby lagi ko lang pinapalatch, nasipsip naman sya. around 2-3 weeks na siguro yun naramdaman ko napupuno yung breast ko at natulo yung isa while feeding si baby sa kabila.
